Chapter 60 Rooted Questions

Chapter 60 Rooted Questions

"Cheers!"

Andrew Malhotra exclaimed in a cheery tone as they all clinked their drinking glasses together.

"Okay, now, it's time to play our decent and fun games. Later at night, we'll get a little slutty." He grinned.

"Okay, okay, let me stop you there." Rick stated. "Decent and fun, sure but slutty? Dude, there are only two women here and one's mine and the other is Romeo's girl. How the hell are things supposed to be slutty because I will not even let you watch Camilla give me a lap dance."

"Maybe Jastrow will give him a lap dance." Romeo remarked and they laughed.

"Come on, come on," Andrew motioned with his hand for them to tone their laughs down. "We all know I am one thousand percent straight and even if I decided to be gay overnight, Jastrow isn't my type."

"I don't even want to be your type." Jastrow commented.

"Whatever." Andrew let his eyes roll skyward. "Okay and don't worry, over possessive Rick, I got a few girls on the ship to dance for us."

"Wait," Romeo sat up in his seat, one hand still holding Cara pressed to his body. "You got a few girls on the ship? Don't tell me you're talking about the kitchen workers?"

"You have good eyes my friend." Andrew grinned. "Those women are hot! Like they are literally fire in a furnace. Why the hell did they agree to work on a ship when they can just become strippers?"

Romeo rolled his eyes with a shake of his head.

"Don't worry, love, I got you." Camilla said to Romeo before turning to face Andrew. "Honey, not every sexy woman you see out there in clubs and bars and strip shows wants a profession like that. Some do, some do, but not all.

"Because of the risk of working on a vessel that's always on water, those ladies get paid extra extra, I mean their pay is very generous. So they prefer to work here than dance for a few horny men."

"Okay, I don't want to have this argument with you. I support women all the way with whatever choices they make in their lives. I'm a feminist you see." Andrew's lips curved into a proud smile.

They all broke out in a chorused laugh at his remark.

"Oh please!" Jastrow commented. "You're not a feminist. If you're anything ending with -nist then you're... An opportunist."

"Oh harhar, laugh all you want. I know what I am." Andrew rolled his eyes. "Forget that, just forget all of that okay? Let's focus on the game. First contestant is our doll-faced newest member, Cara Smith. It's Smith right?"

Cara chuckled and nodded her head. "Yeah, it is."

"I have an amazing memory you see but sometimes I forget things just like that." Andrew explained with a decent smile. "Okay now please come up to the stage. There isn't actually a stage, just come over here and stand here."

"Oh okay." She rose from Romeo's laps.

Romeo held her hand and told her to wait while he took off his suit coat and put it over her shoulders.

She smiled gratefully, not realizing how much cold had filled her up until the warmth of the coat touched her skin.

Walking over to the middle where Andrew once stood, she smiled nervously while cupping her whiskey glass with both hands.

"Okay," Andrew said with a sigh as he went to take a seat. "Now everyone, throw your questions at her. This game is about you and only you. It's just for the members of the BBG to get to know you better."

"I'm sorry, BBG?" Romeo's brow arched as he asked.

"Billionaire boys and girls." Andrew responded.

Romeo sighed softly and shook his head.

"I will not let you call us that." Jastrow stated.

"Alright, alright. I'll come up with a better name later. No, assignment everyone, including you doll face," he pointed at Cara. "I demand name recommendations. Now we will put you in our group chat, doll face, and you can submit your recommendations there. Now back to the questioning, Ladies first, Camilla?"

Camilla sucked in air through her lips and rose to her feet. "Okay."

"You don't have to get up." Andrew stated and she chortled and sat back down on Rick's lap.

Cara wondered if their legs never ached but she shrugged the question off of her mind.

"Okay, Cara." Camilla started. "Now I don't know who you are really, where you're from, what you do-- okay no wait, I heard you manage your own company. Girl boss," she smiled and continued. "But my point is-- or my main question rather is... Why Romeo?

"Believe it or not, that sack of money sitting over there means a lot to me... Okay putting it like that, he would mean a lot to anyone." She stated and they all laughed.

"I think it's best if you use another instance." Andrew said. "But just so you know, Cara, we tease each other about our wealth like that."

Cara nodded her head and Camilla continued.

"Let's put it this way, he's quiet around others, keeps things strictly professional, doesn't really interact with anyone unless it's for work, and he likes to keep his emotions to himself, even when it's killing him. So why a strange cat like him?"

"Good question babe." Rick caressed her back.

Cara didn't know where to start from. Her response would really affect the way, not only the way they would see her but also the way Romeo would as well.

If her answers were full of fluff then none of them would trust her. Romeo included. If she said something that was untrue about him, they all would know, judging from how close they were.

Her words needed to be placed delicately and cautiously at the same time if she was ever going to impress them.

She took quite a deep breath and managed a smile through the nervousness that now flowed like blood in her veins.

Turning to face Romeo, she started. "Okay, firstly, this is the way I see Romeo in my own eyes..."
