Chapter 104 Giovanni

Chapter 104 Giovanni

Cara opened her eyes to the realization that she was alone in bed. She sat up and looked around only to notice that Romeo's clothes were no where to be found.

Had he gone without waking her? She asked herself.

Climbing out of bed, she fetched a plain white T-shirt and threw it on over her naked body then went to the living room.

The stomach tingling scent of fresh toasts and fish sticks as well as coffee hit her nose and she was drawn to the kitchen.

She paused and leaned against the counter, a smile playing on her delicate face. Standing before her was a shirtless man in an apron, completely focused on the eggs he was preparing in a pan.

His muscled arms were all she could stare at and his chest. The apron revealed part of his abs and most of his chest and all of his back. She would be lying if she said his perfectly built body was not a great turn on.

Biting down on her lower lips, she watched him cook the meal like a pro, all she wanted at that moment was for him to cook her like that.

Romeo felt the eyes of someone on him and knew it was no one else but his woman. He tuned to look at her, a smile tugged at his seductive lips. "Good morning." The words rolled of his tongue like a charmingly formulated poem.

She blushed. "Good morning hot stuff."

Romeo let out a soft chuckle. He spared a glance to the meal he was cooking and then looked back at the meal he had cooked the night before. "Did I wake you? I turned off the alarm cause I wanted you to sleep in."

She shook her head. "No but you know I have to go to work today, I shouldn't be sleeping in."

"But you should rest, give yourself a break. You need it. You must know now not to stress yourself because of the little girl inside of you."

She arched a brow at him. "Little girl? How do you know that it is a girl?"

"Just a gut feeling. She's going to be more beautiful than you and I will love her more than I love you." Romeo said with a soft smile on his face.

Cara pouted. "Can't you just love us equally? And also, it's probably going to be a boy with your strong genes and I am going to love him with all of my heart."

"Yet you want me to love the both of you equally." He responded, his attention on the meal he was preparing. "You must be hungry, sit down while I set the table."

Cara let out a soft chuckle. She rose to a straight position and and walked over to where he was standing.

Romeo could only spare her a glance before he felt her small hands encircle him in a hug from behind. Her head pressed against his back and her chest as well.

He rubbed her small hands. "What is it?"

"I will always love you no matter how many children we have. No matter what happens, you'll always be the man my heart beats for." She confessed from the depth of her heart.

Every single word she had said came not from her mouth but from her heart and soul. Romeo could feel it, he knew it.

He turned off the cooking gas and turned around to face her. His hands slid around her thin waist and she hugged his neck. His emerald eyes stared down at her, staring not only at her face but her soul.

He pulled her selfishly to himself, letting her brasts press against his chest. "I love you." He said to her, his voice ever so soft and tender.

Cara went on the tip of her toes and Romeo met her with a bend of his head. Their lips met and he kissed her affectionately.

All Cara wanted was to hold him and never release him. To grow old in his arms, to hold him until they were grey and old.

Romeo knew this dream of hers and his own dream was to make it their reality. All they wanted was each other.

As effortless as the night before, he carried her in his arms and placed her on the counter, all through while kissing her without a pause.

Their tongues danced effortlessly together, romancing and caressing each other. He explored the insides of her mouth like he had never done before while feeling up his woman like he had never felt her figure before.

Cara wanted to be explored, she was never contented no matter how many times they did it. She always craved him more and more no matter how many hours they spent in each other's arms.

But his phone started ringing. Romeo wanted to ignore it, wanted to keep on exploring his woman, but Cara told him to answer it.

"It's probably not important." He said to her, still holding her in his arms.

"Has there ever been any call that goes through your phone and is not important?" Cara questioned with a soft smile.

Romeo let out a sigh and listened to the continuous ringing of his phone. He had hoped it would stop but it didn't seem like it was happening any time soon. So they had to pull apart. They both needed a moment and more to regain themselves.

Romeo had to force himself to pull away from her. "Some calls really don't know when to come in." He muttered though audible enough for Cara to hear.

Cara let out a soft giggle.

He reached for his phone and stared at the number that was calling him. "Hmm, I wonder why he is calling me now..." He said to himself.

Cara could not help but to overhear this one too. "Who is it?"

"My dad's first love son. Giovanni." He responded before answering the call. "Hello?"

Giovanni's voice was cool as he spoke, "I'm in the city, let's meet up."
