I DO!

The soft music played as she walked down the aisle adorned with flowers. All eyes fell on her and she was the center of attraction. The music played in the background.

Here comes the bride…

Here comes the bride…

Here comes the bride…

Here comes the bride…

She took small sturdy steps to the altar when a blushing Jaden awaited her, a tear in his eyes as he marveled at how beautiful she was.

She stared at him through her veil, a huge grin on her lips. He wiped his tears off as his eyes watered again. The queen of his heart walked towards him, merely a few inches from the altar.

She finally made it there and he immediately held onto her gloved hands before bringing one of them to his lips and kissed it. The guests cooed.

“Brethren, today we’re gathered her for the holy matrimony of our children, Domino Hershel and Jaden Crispin.” The priest spoke.

“It’s time for the wedding vows.” He informed and Brie, Domino’s maid of honor helped her take off her gloves.

“The couple wrote their own vows.” He informed again.

Domino went first.

“Jaden Crispin…” she trailed off, a huge grin on her face. “I remember the first day I met you, it was nothing like how other couples got to know each other. I remember how the idea of getting married to you seemed so absurd to me but here we are now.” She chuckled slightly and he grinned. “In the past few months of being your utmost companion, I’ve gotten to know you for who you are, your flaws and perfections and I can proudly say, it’s nothing I don’t want to continue seeing for the rest of my life. You complete me and I vow to you today, I will continue to love you till death to us part.” She completed with tears in her eyes.

“Awww.” The audience chorused.

Jaden went next.

“Domino Hershel. My firecracker, the only woman I’ve ever come to love…” He paused as he looked into the audience. “And you too mom.” He joked and every one burst into laughter.

“For the past few months, you’ve been my happiness, my ray of sunshine on cloudy days and I bless the day I laid my eyes on you. You’ve indirectly and directly nudged me into being a better man and I can proudly say you made me the man I am today. I wonder who I’d have been if I’d ended up with someone else. Whenever i lay my eyes on you, I bless God for bringing my soulmate my way. I love you forever and for always darling.” He said as tears rolled down his face. Everyone cooed.

“And now the church vows.” He said and they held the cards. She went first.

“I, Domino Hershel, in the presence of the lord takes you Jaden Crispin to be my lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold…” she sniffed. “In sickness and in health, for richer and for richer till death do us part.” She grinned and the audience guffawed at her replacement of the word ‘poorer’. Jaden sniffed before reading.

“I, Jaden Crispin, in the presence of the lord takes you Domino Hershel, to be my lawfully wife, to have and to hold, In sickness and in health, for richer and definitely for richer till death do us part.” He grinned.

“Do you take her, Domino Hershel to be your lawfully wedded wife, in the presence of the lord?” The priest asked for clarity.

“I do.” He nodded as he slipped the ring onto her finger.

“Do you take him, Jaden Crispin to be your lawfully wedded husband, in the presence of the lord?” The priest asked for clarity.

“I do.” She nodded as she slipped the ring onto his finger, a huge grin on her face.

“Is there anyone who for some reason would not like this wedding procession to continue? If yes, signify or forever hold your peace?” He asked and the hall went silent.

“I do.” A feminine voice called out and they traced it down to its source. The crowd gasped as the lady arose.

“Don’t you dare Brittany.” Elle said from another angle of the church.

“Whatever, you’re no fun.” Brittany rolled her eyes before taking her seat.

“I got you babies.” Elle blew a kiss to the bride and groom.

“I pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride.”

Jaden pulled her veil off and kissed her, deep enough to not ruin her lip gloss.

“I love you Jaden.”

“I love you more baby.” She grinned as they exited the cathedral to take pictures.

The wedding reception was already in full swing and the newlyweds had danced to their heart’s content.

They sat on the seats after the wedding games and the tasting of the cake.

“Want to ditch this and go for honeymoon instead?”

“Hell yeah.”

“Come on baby.” He grinned and she beckoned on Brie.

“We’re ditching, take care of all this, I love you babe.”

“Love you too fam.” She blew them a kiss as they sneaked out of the venue and into the car. He helped her with her dress before hopping in.

“Come on Jonas.” He said and the car hummed to life.

“Jonas?” She grinned.

“Who else would be his getaway driver?” Jonas chuckled.

“I love you too bro.” Jaden grinned.

“I know right, I love me too.”

“Knuclehead.” Jaden smacked his head whilst Domino exploded with laughter.

Jaden dropped them off by the jet, before waving.

“Have a good one.” He grinned as he dropped the suitcases by Jaden.

“Thanks bro.” He shook Jonas.

“Thanks Jonas.” Domino pulled him into a hug.

“You’re welcome sis. Have fun.” He grinned as he walked towards the car. He waved before driving off.

“You packed suitcases?” She grinned at him in adoration.

“Yes I did.” He blushed.

“You’re the best.” She cooed.

“Thank you Mrs Crispin.” He giggled like a little girl.

“That will definitely take some getting used to.” He helped her with her dress while the hostess grabbed the suitcases.

“Where to, husband?”

“Your favorite city wife.”

“You’re kidding…”

“Nope, we’re going to Paris baby.” He said and she squealed as he tackled him into a hug.

“I love you! I love you! I love you!” She chanted in joy.

“I love you too baby.”

“It’s a long flight, we should get some sleep.”

“Okay baby.”

***

We arrived at the city of Paris, got settled in a hotel before getting dressed for our dinner outing.

We arrived at the restaurant and walked in. It was like a dessert heaven.

“This is heaven!" I commented as we got seated.

“What would you like to have?”

“The honeymoon platter.” Jaden grinned.

“Coming right up and congrats on your wedding.”

“Thank you.” They grinned.

About two staff had to carry the honeymoon platter.

“Oh my!” Domino’s eyes bulged as she stared upon the beauty they dropped off on the table.

I pinched off a piece from the chocolate volcano moaning in delight as the chocolate slowly melted on my tongue.

“That was amazing.” I commented and Jaden had a piece.

I grabbed a crepe covered with chocolate with bananas and strawberries top and shoved it into my mouth. "I think I am going to eat everything by the time I leave."

I grabbed a cheesecake and took a big bite of it.

"That's good!" I said as I continued chewing. I put it down and grabbed a vanillla cake and shoved a big piece in my mouth. I nodded in satisfaction.

I grabbed a piece of brownie and shoved it in my mouth.

"This is the best brownie that I've ever ate!" I said, pointing to it. Jaden grabbed a peice. He made a face.

"We could come here whenever you want." he said, sipping his cup of coffee.

I shoved a chocolate macaroon in my mouth. Macaroons were always my favorite and this macaroon is the best.

I shoved a vanilla macaroon in my mouth and than another macaroon.

"It’s funny how you eat like a pig, but you're underweight." he said. I shoved a peice of chocolate croissant in my mouth.

“Says the sushi elephant.” I retorted.

I shrugged, biting into a slice of blueberry pie.

Jaden snorted.

"It's like magic." I said, eating a peach pie and than an apple pie afterwards. “I eat and never gain weight.”

I put a piece of flan in my mouth.

"Oh, you're gonna be fat after this." he said, nodding towards the sweets. I put a piece of sweet french rolls in my mouth.

"I don't think so." I said, biting into a glazed donut in my mouth.

"What makes you think that I don't eat this much at home?" I bit into a strawberry covered chocolate. Jaden laughed at me, but I ignored him.

"Woah, you could slow down." he said, "You're going choke and the sweets are not going to go away." he said.

“But you could shove them down your throat.” I defended and he chuckled

I shoved a spongecake in my mouth as I shrugged.

"I love it so much!" I said, putting a chocolate eclair in my mouth.

"This is so good!"

I said and he bit into his cookie.

I tasted the jelly-filled donut before the chocolate muffin.

“This should be nice.” I picked up the raspberry pudding.

“We have to leave soon if not you’d end up going home with a stomach ache.” He chuckled as he popped a chocolate macaroon in his mouth.

“Why?” I groaned as I shoved another cupcake in my mouth before a fruit tard.

“Fine. Can I have some to go?”

“Sure.”

I called on the waitress.

“I’ll have the rest to go please.” I smiled sweetly and Jaden smirked, I’d played him.

“You do know I’d punish you for that, don’t you?” He said and it dawned on me but being the brat I was, I was up for the challenge.

I munched on a macaroon as I waited for my to-go order.

“Why are you so eager to leave baby.”

“It’s almost midnight.” He said.

“Oh…”

He paid and I got my package to leave. We hopped into the car and the driver drove.

“This isn’t the way to the hotel.” I perked up.

“Yeah, we just need to make one more pitstop baby.”

“Alright.” I grinned.

A few minutes later, he held up a blindfold and I raised a brow in confusion.

“Just trust me.” Jaden whispered in my ear as he put it on me. I shivered a little.

"All you have to do is trust me," he said, "You still trust me right?" I nodded.

The car came to a stop.

"Good." he said. I could feel his warmth moving away from me until I heard the door open. He slowly and gently took my wrist and helped me out of the car.

"Here, slowly walk." he whispered in my ear. The hair on my neck stood erect and my heartbeat raced.

I slowly walked as I felt Jaden's hand on my back guiding me.

"Ok, stop right here." he said. I stopped walking. I could smell his cologne in the breeze. I smiled a little.

I could feel Jaden's hand removing the blindfold

"Keep your eyes closed."

I really wanted to open my eyes and see what was going on, but I didn't. I didn't want to. I wanted him to go through with his surprise.

"Ok, come this way." he said, guiding my shoulders.

"Ready, set, go." Jaden whispered.

"Open your eyes." He said as a loud pop went off.

I opened my eyes just in time to see a firework explode in the sky. My mouth hung open I awe.

"Jaden..." I said looking up.

My chest tightened when he looked into my eyes. My stomach erupted in butterflies when he put his hand on the small of my back and my breath hitched in my throat as he spoke.

He leaned in and whispered against my lips.

"Happy Birthday Domino." He said before licking lips with me.

And then it hit me, it was my birthday.

“Happy birthday baby.” He grinned and I chuckled, joy coursing through my veins.

“Thank you.”

He handed me the iPad in his hands and it was all our friends from school, my parents and his too.

“Happy birthday Domino!” They screamed immediately as I came into view.

“Thanks everyone.” I grinned.

After all the wishes and cheers, the call came to an end.

“Thank you baby.” I stood on my tiptoes as I locked lips with him.

“I love you Domino.”

“I love you too Jaden.”
