Chapter 76 - Revelation of Jason’s sickness

Jason POV:

"How did she know that?" Roma asked again.

"When I was in Germany, Eva went to the hospital for reports. There, she came to know that I was unable to become a father due to my excessive intake of drugs. After that, she called Maya. Maya said everything including my illness, treatment and that I received that video clipping before wedding anniversary, to which I paid no attention as I knew about her well. She came to know, that video was sent by you too in her enquiry," I paused.

" What?" Roma gulped.

"I didn't do that...Actually...." Roma tried to hide her tears.

"Don't panic, Roma. We can understand your intention. I know that you love Rio. For his happiness, you tried to ruin our relationship. However, Eva forgave you and so do I. If it's not you, who sent that video to me, they would probably be dead by now," I said a bit harshly.

"I love Rio. But he loves Eva. I thought you were not perfect for a girl like Eva. I never believed that a beast who forced his wife on first night itself would change into a good and loving husband in the future. So I thought if they both get married, they will be happy forever. I am sorry, Jason," she said.

"The truth which we both forgot was that any person would be happy only when they stay with their love and Eva loves only me. We decided her life without her permission. At least from now, let's leave them to make their decisions on their own rather than we deciding their lives and what gives them happiness," I said.

Roma closed her eyes and started crying. She loves Rio but never expressed her feelings to him. She thought to get Rio married to Eva for his happiness. She was crying, and suddenly she hugged me crying.

"Don't cry, Roma. It's ok. We can understand you," I said and broke the hug.

What if my devil sees her hugging me? She will kill me.

I got away and shocked seeing my Eva there. Roma wiped her tears.

"Roma, shall we go?" Rio asked, and Roma left with him. Eva went to her room and locked it till evening. At night, she came out for dinner. We had dinner calmly. She is leaving, but I stopped her by holding her hand.

"Eva, actually...."

"What? Finally, you started romancing with my friend too. I never thought you were such a person. I hate you."

What? Romance? With her friend? Does she think that I have that guts to romance with other girls? I still have hopes on my life and want to live for some more years happily with my Eva. If I romance with someone, surely she will kill me without any mercy.

"Tell me what were you doing with her?"

"Nothing. Your friend became emotional and hugged me. What should I do for that? It's not my fault," I said seriously.

"I hate you," she said again.

I pulled her to me and hugged placing my hand on her waist.

"What are you doing?" she said in kid's voice.

I started kissing her face with all my love. Only love not lust. I kissed on her eyelids as she closed her eyes. I touched her nose and cheeks.

"I am teaching you what romance is. Only then you can understand that I didn't romance with your friend," I said kissing on her lips by cupping her face. She too responded to me and kissed me.

I left her after some time and lifted in my arms and took her to the room. I slowly placed her on the bed.

"No please. I still need time to forget everything that happened," she said.

I lay on the bed beside her.

"Don't worry, sweetheart. I have a lifetime for that. I just took you to room to talk with you," I said taking her into my arms.

She started crying.

"Why are you crying, baby?"

"I love you so much, but still my heart is unable to forget your words. You unintentionally have broken me completely," Eva said.

"I know that you were not romancing with my friend, and I didn't like to talk that rudely to you, but you behaved in the same way before. So, I said those words to you. I am sorry," she said, crying.

"It's ok. I understood that" I said kissing her on the forehead.

"Eva, please give me a chance to heal the wounds that caused by me to your heart. I never hurt you again and never hide anything from you," I said, but she didn't reply. I found her asleep. I too slept after some time.

Next day, in the morning, we went as usual to the office. Evening, I returned home, and she is in her room getting ready for the party. She is looking pretty in the dress she wore. She is damn hot in the suit. When did she learn to wear such dresses? Usually, she wears a saree and chudidhar. She looked at me and again got ready.

"Change the dress, Eva," I said.

"But why?"

"Should I tell you everything? I don't like you wearing this type of dresses," I said seriously.

"I am sorry. I will change it," Eva said slowly.

I went to her and cupped her face.

"I didn't mean to hurt you. You look pretty in this dress. But we know that few people who attend this party may not be good. So please change your dress, or if anyone comments on you, your husband will kill them. To avoid that it's better to wear something else," I said kissing her on the forehead.

She nodded smiling. Thank God, my angel smiled.

We went to the party. There I saw Rio coming with Roma. It will be good if he marries Roma. At least, I will be relaxed.

People who recognised me came to me, and I became busy talking to them, though I am observing Eva. Eva went to her friends and is talking to them. Suddenly, I looked at the person with whom she is speaking. Veronica??? From where did she come? Is she that close to Eva? They are moving so close. Eva came to me with her.

"Veronica, He is my husband. You might be knowing him," she said.

"Jason, she is my friend Veronica," she said to me.

"I know him so well. I knew him so well including every mole on his body," Veronica said making me clench my fist.

I knew well that she is not Eva's type. Her words itself said that. But what made me more worried is Eva's expression. She looked at me giving disgusting expression.

"Eva, listen," I tried to explain.

" I will explain you, Eva," Veronica said making me tense.
