Chapter 74 - You still love me

Jason POV:

I waited for Eva for a long time. She didn't return home till now. Now the time is 11 pm. I called her many times, but she rejected my calls. Why is she trying to hurt me like this?

I slept on the sofa in the living room. Morning, I woke up and found myself sleeping on the sofa. I went to check whether she came or not. I opened her room door. I found her sleeping peacefully. She is so cute and innocent. I stared at her for some time. She moved on the bed, and I went off from there realising that she is awake.

After sometime she came downstairs and prepared something. She had it in her room. I became a mere spectator these days. She took her handbag and came downstairs.

"Where are you going, Eva?" I asked her.

Eva didn't even look at me and is leaving. I held her hand and made her face me.

"I asked something to you," I said severely.

" I found no necessity to answer you. You know well that I took over my company and needed to go to my office every day," Eva said.

"Ok. You can go but...."

"I didn't ask for your permission," she said.

"Where were you the last night? When did you return home?" I asked her.

"Is this my home or a hostel? Are you a warden here? I feel as if I am a prisoner here and......."

I gave her a smirk and kissed her softly on her lips pinning her to the wall. I caged her with my hands between the wall and me. I tugged her hairs behind her ears and kissed on her cheek.

"I love you," I kissed on her forehead.

" I hate you," she said pouting.

She is cute as she pouted. I kissed her on the cheek again.

"I love you so much," I said smiling.

" I hate you so much," she said again.

I kissed her neck and buried my head in her neck.

"I love you so much," I said.

"I too love you so much," she said, and I suddenly looked at her.

"What did you say?" I asked.

"I said I don't love you," she answered shifting her gazes from me.

"Really baby? I know that still, you love me. Yes, you are a prisoner in my love for the lifetime," I kissed her again in her neck.

She suddenly pushed me away. I looked at her, and her eyes were filled with tears.

"I hate you. I hate you. You don't love me. You just wanted me to do all this stupid stuff with me. I hate it. It's not love. If you love me, you can't hurt me. But you had hurt me many times. I hate you," she said while crying and sat on the floor itself.

I am about to reach her to comfort her, but I stopped hearing the words.

"Eva!"

Eva and I looked at the door. It's Rio. She wiped her tears and got up.

"Are you fine? Why are you crying?" Rio asked her.

"Eva, I am leaving for office. Bye!" I said.

"How is your leg? Is it still paining?" Rio asked Eva.

I stopped and went back to Eva.

"What happened to your leg?" I asked her.

She didn't reply to me.

"WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR LEG? ANSWER ME, EVA," I shouted at her.

"Rio, if you don't mind, I want to talk with my wife privately. Please!" I said.

"Nothing is there to talk with anyone. Come let's go to the office," Eva said.

She left without waiting for my reply. I didn't like her attitude for the first time. I left home and didn't return home. At 10 pm, she called me.

"Yes!" I replied.

"Where are you? Are you not coming home today?" Eva asked.

"Does it matter to you?" I said, closing my eyes.

"Its already late," she said.

"You no need to worry about me. I am safe. You have your dinner and sleep, Eva. I want to be alone for some time."

"Am I a disturbance for your privacy, Jason?" She asked with a choked tone.

"I didn't mean it. You are always a bliss to my heart, Eva. But now I want to be alone."

"Are you with...Maya?"

What does she mean? Where did Maya come from in the middle? Why will I stay with her? This girl has gone crazy.

"Yes, I am with Maya. Are you happy now?" I said and disconnected the call.

She never trusts me. I closed my eyes and remembered my past. Maybe it's true that no one loves me. After all, how can someone stay lifelong with me who was a criminal and beast? It's true that Eva started hating me. Even if I tell her the truth, she may not forgive me.

What if she chooses Rio and not me after six months? Or even if she loves only me, she may choose to live alone rather than staying with me? Surely, she can't trust me again.

I was drunk and wasted. I went to my car and fell unconscious.

Eva POV:

I was waiting for him, but when he said he was with Maya, tears rolled down my eyes. Is he again attracted to Maya as I am behaving harshly with him? He too hurt me many times. But still, I love only him.

I expected him to change for me if I behave rudely. But he forgot me. What should I do now? If he gets attracted to Maya, I won't bear it. Instead, I will leave him forever.

The doorbell rang, and I opened the door. The driver came taking Jason. He is unconscious. I held Jason by keeping my hand on his shoulder.

"Madam, from the morning, sir was in bar drinking continuously," the driver said.

That means is he not with Maya?

I thanked the driver and took him to bed. I am about to go but he held my hand, and I was pulled towards him. I fell on him.

"Don't go leaving me, Eva. I love you so much. I know that I hurt you so much, but I did it because I thought I was unsuitable to you. Please forgive me. Don't talk about Rio again and again. You know what. Whenever you take his name, I feel like kissing you hard so that you won't retake his name. I hate that Rio because I love you and he too loves you. He is perfect for you, but I can't lose you. I will kidnap you if you leave me. I will do anything except losing you. Why did you make me so weak that I can't even live without you for a second," he said in a drunken style.

"Do you love me that much?"

"Yes, I love you so much. Your sweet smile, your soft cheeks, your lips resembling rose petals," he said touching my lips with his finger.

"I fell in love with you on the second day of our marriage. I remembered your innocent face the whole day. I tried hard to forget you, but I am unable to do that. Even when I went away from you for a month thinking that you have betrayed me, I used to come every day to our home to see you. You are so cute," he said.

I opened my mouth listening to these words from his mouth.

"After that, I understood you are a good wife. Your patience and forgiveness made me fall for you completely. You are unique. Though you are well educated and bold, you never showed your pride in our relationship. You respected me and our relationship every time. I love you so much. Don't leave me. Please. We will do one thing. I will give my whole property to that Rio. Let's go far away from everyone and live happily, please baby," he said holding my chin pleading me.

Aww, my cute husband. I slowly kissed him on his lips.

I love you, Jason. But, I am sorry, Jason. You made it tough for me to give in easily. You may repeat it in the future if I forgive you easily. But I promise I won't be that rude as I behaved for these two days.

" Did you have your dinner?"

"No. I will have only if you feed me with your hands," Jason said pouting.

I nodded and brought dinner for him. I fed him with my hands. He slept, and I went to another room.

In the morning, I got ready and went to his room. He woke up and looked at me.

"What?" I asked.

"What happened the last night? By any chance did you kiss me and fed me with your hands?" He asked.

"What the hell are you talking? Did you dream anything like that? Don't worry, your dream never becomes true. Why did you go to Maya yesterday? If I ignore you, you will be attracted to her, right? Is this your love that wavers so easily?" I said seriously.
