CHAPTER 17: SWEET TEMPTATION [SPG]

Ayla's POV.

The suite of Alpha Liam where only undesirable and unpleasant memories had lived before has been filled with moans of arousal.

With his hand wrapped around my waist, he pulled me closer as his other hand landed on my blushing cheek.

“Can I do something to satisfy you, Alpha Liam? You know...it's my first time," I said before biting my lower lip in frustration.

Maybe, it was too late to be nervous after all that happened before we ended up in his bed.

“There's nothing to be upset about, my sweet virgin Luna."

A prideful, sinister grin spread across his face. He pushed himself against me, like he was letting me feel his hard member on my stomach.

"See? I'm already entertained."

His statement made me blush for a second. "Really?" I asked.

Honestly, I was guilty of giving in to his temptation despite my innocence and I was also upset that my body was craving for pleasure, but I couldn't even do something to entertain him.

“I want you to surrender your body to me and focus solely on me. No buts, no what ifs and no worries,” he said possessively with eyes digging into my soul.

His words didn't give me any other choice but to draw a deep breath and accept his request.

And in just a few minutes, my eyes were already giving him permission to do as he pleased.

'There's nothing to be ashamed of, Ayla. He's already seen every part of you from head to toe.'

I secretly hid my anxiousness as I was standing right in front of Alpha Liam with his eyes roaming around my body.

"You are truly blessed by the moon goddess, Ayla. Such a beautiful sight to behold," he said as he licked his lips playfully.

I witnessed how his blue ocean eyes hardened and his tone deepened. This was the nth time that I had seen him stare at me with amusement.

"Ohh, Alpha." I moaned as his lips touched my collarbone.

I don't know why but there's something in his warm breath that made me too sensitive.

Later on, his taunting pecks successfully traveled down my shoulder up to my chest. The pleasure was too strong to the point where I couldn't even move a muscle to hold his head.

I was already helpless when his hand began to travel down my waist before he tried to claim my lips again like a hungry beast.

“Why are you still trembling?" he asked.

I was about to give him an answer when a sudden moan escaped my lips as he pressed his finger on my wet clit.

“P-Please, take m-me," I mumbled. "I don't know what's happening with my body, Alpha Liam. I couldn't control myself anymore."

I was about to ask him one more time when he removed his pants altogether while his eyes were staring at me.

"Don't ask me to be gentle," he growled. His voice was low enough to send shivers down my spine.

With few traces made by his hand, Alpha Liam entered me with one powerful thrust and stopped to claim my lips at the same time.

Lost in the painful sensation, I found myself answering his kisses with tears cornering my eyes.

Our kisses became so deep that I hadn't screamed despite the ripping of my hymen. I tried to embrace him to calm my system, but he suddenly grabbed my wrists and placed them above my head.

“This will hurt you more,” he whispered. "But it will bring you pleasure afterward."

I was about to ask him what he was referring to when I suddenly felt his breath on my skin.

“Ah!” I shrieked when Alpha Liam's fangs sank into my neck. It was painful yet gradually becoming blissful after a few minutes.

Morning came, and I was woken up by the light coming from the window. I felt a sore between my legs. Even though my mind was blank and my body was too weak to move, I could still remember everything that happened between me and the Alpha last night.

"You've been enchanted by the bond and succumbed to the Alpha's temptation, Ayla," my wolf, who's been silent all throughout the night, appeared out of the blue.

"I... I'm sorry!" I said, my trembling voice betraying me.

"What made you do it?" Dara's booming voice held too much power, one that could make anyone submit to her words and tell her the truth.

"I don't know..." My body stiffened as it revisited the mix of arousal and pain in my entire body. "The flame within me involuntarily moved in response to the Alpha," I added in a soft tone.

"Are you starting to fall for him?" Her growl brought a piercing pain in my chest.

"No... You know I can't!" I answered immediately in the form of denial. "I'm just doing this for the agreement and to save myself from his threats."

A chill ran down my spine as my wolf's suspicion lingered in the air. "Are you sure about that?"

"Y-Yes," I mumbled as a feeling of uneasiness settled over my body. "I admit that I was tempted, but that was the extent of it."

I did my best to tell her the truth without defending my actions. I know, I screwed up, but being romantically attached to Alpha Liam was another question.

"You know falling in love with him means death, Ayla," she repeated.

I slowly gave her a nod. "I know... That's why I'm avoiding it, Dara." I draw a deep breath. "Alpha Liam was ruthless and evil, I know falling in love with him would only make my life miserable."

"So, love was out of the picture?" she asked.

"I am not a fool to feel that way about him, Dara."

A sigh escaped my lips. I know emotional investment is only a waste of time for Alpha Liam. He had no interest in this engagement as he was only using me as a tool against his enemies.

"Even though he is our mate?" she repeated.

"Definitely yes," I said with a faint smile. "This bond was hardly anything to be proud of. I am nothing to him. From the Alpha’s perspective, he classifies me as one of his possessions. That alone shows that he rejected me as his mate in the first place."

"But your neck..." Dara's voice was filled with curiosity.

Hearing that from her only proves that she used her ability to cut contact with me while I was with Alpha Liam last night. Now, I need more time to explain everything to her.

"I just felt his canines extended and latched into my neck all of a sudden," I explained with my voice cracking a little.

"That’s not what it means to me, Ayla. He marked you," she insisted firmly.

I scoffed. "W-What do you mean, Dara?"

"The Alpha marked you as his mate."

My body trembled in fear as I saw Alpha Liam's wolf flash in my eyes.

"M-Mate? B-But you said he didn't mark me after the mate pick ceremony as he only chose me to be his Luna out of his lies?"
