Chapter 81: Heavenly Embrace

I kissed him. He kissed me back with equal passion. The pleasure was almost heavenly. The intimacy we shared was awesome. I always felt this good kissing him and if it was possible, I would kiss him every single second of my life!

I got away and he smiled. “I had yearned it from a long time, Alicia”

“I know. I did too”

He got on his knees and I stood there shocked. I was confused. What was he doing?

He extended his hand towards me. “Give me your hand”

I gave him my hand. He held it and kissed it. “Please forgive me, Alicia”

I was shocked and immediately sat too. “What the hell is wrong with you?”

“Nothing, Alicia. I should apologise”

“You should know that I kissed you, it means that I forgave you. You should stop being like… the best man”

He smiled and I saw him blushing. “I wish I was”

“You are”

I took his hand. “Now get up”

We both got up. “I know you have any questions and I am gonna answer each one of them. Just give me some time”

“You have all the time,” I smiled.

I was so happy. I got him. I got him back. The one I love.

I didn’t have to marry Asher. What could be better? Nothing, literally nothing! I mean, my every problem just went away like it was so easy to solve.

It feels so damn good because I was sure that my life is gonna be a hell now and that I will never see Alistair again.

“Oh, where are you lost?” I came out of my thoughts as he waved his hand in front of my face. He laughed. “Alicia?”

“Ah nothing. Just wondering how…” I looked into his eyes. “You can solve each problem so easily”

“Because we are meant to be”

“That is for sure” I smiled. He smiled back. He looked so cute. “I am sorry too,” I added.

“You don’t need to be sorry”

“You know this is all my mistake, right? I mean, I literally was acting so weird. Otherwise this all would have not happened”

“Yeah but you just wanted to marry me. I shouldn’t have reacted like that”

“You were right, how can I just come up with marriage and give no time to you?” I sighed. “You know what darling, now that I think of it, I feel so stupid and naive”

“Aha it’s all good, but did you just call me darling?”

“I did, darling”

“Oh baby”

I blushed and I saw him blushing too. This was so beautiful. “Hey, you! You are the cutest person alive” I smiled and said.

“Oh but you are alive too” he came close. “Don’t say you forgot you existed in my love”

“I didn’t. You don’t make me forget myself, I find myself when I am with you”

He smiled. “That’s a great quote there”

“Is it?”

“Yep”

I smiled. “Then let’s promise to never part again”

“I promise you, I will always be with you” he looked into my eyes. “I will always love you and be the one to make you smile, till death do us part”

I blushed. It was like a wedding vow. I looked into his eyes. “I promise to stay, love and be with you until my last breath. I love you Alistair”

“I love you too,” he blushed. I kissed him on his lips and he kissed me back. This was the best moment.

“It feels as if a big weight is lifted up my shoulders” I said. “You know, I was so scared and you came like a hero and--”

“I know but do you know...” he kept my hair at the back of my ear. “I was more scared?”

“More scared? Why?”

“I can’t live without you, Alicia and I realised it”

“Same… Alistair. You know… I realised it when I knew I had to marry Asher…”

“I know. I know everything, Alicia. I had inserted a device in his phone and thus I know everything you both talked about”

I smiled. “You are the best!”

“You too”

We smiled and then went inside and sat down on the sofa in the living room. He pulled me near him as I sat beside him.

“You know, Alicia” I looked at him. “You make me so happy and I just can’t believe that”

“You are the solution for my every problem, Alistair”

We both smiled. He pulled me on him and hugged me from behind.

“Your embrace feels the best, you know that Alistair?” I asked him.

“I know now, baby”

“Ah” I smiled.

“Well, Alicia…” he said and I got off him.

“Yeah?” I asked him.

“I still have to do something… to keep us safe”

“Ah… so someone forced you to do this…?” I asked him.

“Kind of”

“And still you had this strength…” my eyes moistened. “This courage to be with me--”

“I held back enough, Alicia,” I whispered. “I did it for me and for you”

“I love you so much, Alistair”

“Likewise”

He took my hands in his. “We will win this”
