Chapter 82 82
AND THREE WEEKS WENT BY.....
"Did you watch the news?" The first nurse muttered and the others looked at her.
"The hospital is a barrel of words and what, the news? Words fly fast in here." The other said.
"I can't believe Mr Welland would just go down like this. His prison sentence is twenty years." Someone said.
"So, is SH Apparels going to get out of this scot free? You know, Stella Hills is pregnant."
"She's put in a mental hospital because she's allegedly turning crazy. They were really dealt with. Now, no one would dare to mess with Mrs Chapman or Mr Jordans. The two are formidable characters."
Liam stepped into her ward with his worn suit as he was just coming from the court. He watched as the doctors did their job and he waited patiently, his chest heaving fast. He hoped she would wake up soon. It was three weeks after she'd opened her eyes and the doctor had said she was recovering fast. How the hell had she slipped into a coma?
"We have to be patient. We can't force her consciousness on." The doctor shook his head and Liam licked his lips.
"Doesn't it hurt to be in a state like that?" He asked out of frustration.
"She practically doesn't feel anything." The doctor shook his head.
"That's the problem!" Liam shot, "Alexa can't stay like that without..... without feeling. It hurts her that much knowing she's locked up in there."
"There's nothing we can do for her right now than watch her, Mr Jordans." The doctor said and immediately walked out before Liam would ask more questions that he wouldn't love to start explaining.
Liam hit his back on the door, resting on it and slipping down till he finally got to the ground. His index fingers played with each other as he stared at the ground.
"They are locked up, Alexa. They'll never hurt you again. I made sure of that." He muttered lightly as he blinked.
"It's the last time they'll ever hurt you. So wake up already. It's getting too long. And I'm getting too scared. I'm scared to lose you, Alexa." His eyes watered, "I can't...think of anything without you." He gulped.
"Even if you don't choose to love me, please. Don't just choose the option to leave." He muttered as a tear slipped out of his eyes.
"I need you. Jace and Jade.....the kids really need you." He cried out, unable to stop the next batch of tears that followed.
"Let me out of here, okay? It's not my fault. I didn't do it." Stella muttered, her body vibrating as she stared at Sam. He knelt down in her front holding her tight.
"You almost committed murder, Stella. And you paid the driver off to get away in secret. It was too much." He shook his head.
Her once calm gaze suddenly changed to a fiery one as she stared at him hatefully, "If you had helped, this wouldn't have happened. She was getting on my nerves. I asked you to get her out but...you were interested in her friend. You were so blinded by love that you couldn't see my pain." She grinned as she moved closer to him now.
"You think you can blame it all on me?" She shook her head in response to her own question, "No." She poked his chest slowly.
"You taught me how to be violent. You made me go crazy. The day you stopped giving me everything I wanted, you made my mind blown." She whispered, her eyes going crazy as she stood up.
Sam dragged her to sit back down, "It's Ryder, isn't it?" He asked darkly and her eyes narrowed.
"That?" She asked, waiting for his completion.
"He is the father of this kid in you." He used his eyes to signify. Stella's body shook from how hard she laughed.
"Then who? Would it be Liam? Don't be crazy. That guy has nothing for your loving sister." She muttered.
"I'll kill him."
"You won't. Ryder would come out of that place and we would restrategize. This time around, we'll be up again the both of them. We would rip them out of that position and make sure they regret every single thing they did to us. We'll make them pay." She swore.
Sam gritted his teeth, "Shut up, Stella. You are not going to attack anyone anymore. You would do nothing. You and Ryder. If you try anything else, you are going to be locked up here for the rest of your life, do you want that? Hmmm?" He asked and she gritted her teeth in anger before raising her hand and giving him a slap across the cheek.
"Don't tell me that bllshit. The least you can do for me is get me out of here." Her eyes turned glassy as she held his collar tight.
"You would get me out of here right? " She asked.
"No." Sam pulled her hands away from his neck as he stared at her lovingly, "The most I could do for you is let you regain your senses, Stella. I love you but that means you are going to have to stay here till you are ready to leave."
Stella stood up in rage, her hands sweeping everything she could find on the nearest table in the room.
"I can't stay here! This is a psychiatrist hospital for crying out loud. I won't survive, Sam. I can't...." She cried.
A knock came on the door, "It's time to leave." The nurse said and Sam took a small breath as he got up to leave.
One glance at him and Stella picked a bottle from the floor.
"Watch out. "The nurse screamed, opening the door but it was too late. The bottle already crashed on his head crazily.
Blood rushed out from the side of his head into his eyes and ears as he turned to look at her. She stared at him like a bloody monster and before Sam, she placed the broken bottle towards her neck. Sam immediately raised his leg, kicking her hand. The bottle flew towards the mirror, crashing the two of them and he stepped in front of her so the pieces that flew back would piece into his skin instead.
"You'd have to stay here, Stella." He said.
