Chapter 113 113
"We'd still be going to Disney." Alexa said at 9 pm when Jade and Jace were going upstairs to their rooms to sleep. Jade ran back down the stairs and Liam smiled, knowing she was totally excited. Alexandra had called him in the afternoon and had updated him on all the details. He was the one who suggested the travelling to Disney land and he wanted it to fall on their honeymoon. Well, good news was, Alexa simply agreed.
"Are you serious, mummy?" Jade asked, hands clasped in curiosity, placed underneath her chin. She stared at Alexa, all the believing faith packed in her eyes, hoping it wasn't just a dream.
"Yeah, Jade. We are going to Disney next two weeks. Your daddy and I are going to get married again."
"Aarghghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Jade screamed jumping up on her feet with an excited energy. Jace's eyes widened as he stepped down from the stairs and staggered backwards to look at his dad, a small smile on Liam's face.
"Daddy, is this true? You and mommy are going to get married and we are going to become a true family?" He asked.
"We were always a true family, Jace. And we just want to do this for the fun of it." He said.
"Marriage is not for fun! My classmates said that's what really makes you mommy and daddy." He snapped and Liam pressed his lips tightly, raising his hands in a surrendering manner.
"Whatever you say, Jace. You are smarter than me now." He said. Jace's eyes softened.
"Congratulations." He muttered slowly and Liam's eyes brightened Ashe stared at his son.
"Thank you, kid." He said.
"Mommy, when can we go for the gown testing? I want a floral gown." Jace said, holding and swinging Alexa's hands all around, making Alexa smile.
"You are wearing white, darling. Cause you are going to be my beautiful little bride."
The preparations were fast, no one wanted to delay it and soon it was the wedding day.
Alexa took a deep breath as she stared at herself in the mirror, a smile on her face. She wanted this. She was getting it. She couldn't believe she was getting married to Liam again. It was so exciting and she just couldn't hide it.
"Gosh, you look so excited. It is written all over your face." Cassidy rushed in with a beautiful green gown clad on her body, accentuating her beautiful shape. It however couldn't compare to the beautiful fair skin woman who was putting on a wedding gown, the center of attraction for today.
"I can't hide it." Alexa touched her cheeks.
"Liam is so excited too. I saw him checking out his suit a million times today. He has also been ordering everyone around to make things so perfect. Honestly, he is almost being a pain in the ass but I don't have enough time to even snap out. I'm also excited." Cassidy rushed her words in pure excitement as she jumped on her feet, turning around.
"I'm captivated by our beauty." She finally said and Alexandra smiled. She was glad she wasn't the only one feeling the feverishness of her excitement. Today was a day in which promises would be rebounded, vows would be remade, promises would be established. This time around, she was so sure, that these promises would never be broken, theses vows would be destroyed. She was so sure. Liam would love her so much and she would do the same. No matter what the future held.
She stood in front of him moments, a small smile on her face as he said his vows straight from his head without following the original ones that had been prepared.
"Alexandra." He called and she gulped, awaiting the rest of his words, "You are home to me. My peace in the darkest nights. Life without you had just simply been meaningless but when you came back, I immediately saw that ray of hope. It shined brightly. You had almost killed me with your car at that gala...." She chuckled, "But to me, that was redemption. The strong lady who had given me the contact to pay me for the damages. The same lady who had lived me so much to stand by me. Alexandra, there is no where I could go except to you, there is no one I could choose except for you and just as it is important to have breath to live, it's just as important to have you, a light in my life. I simply cannot...." He blinked, "I simply cannot live when you are not there. So that's why today, for you not to leave me, I'm promising to love and cherish you from every moment, with every breath even after death does us part." He muttered.
Her eyes turned glassy and she blinked, pushing the tears back, she couldn't ruin her makeup for any reason.
"Liam Jordans. Your name breathes happiness to my life, joy and gladness, and everything else in between. You....are just that joy and that peace. I don't also think I can live without you. When you were hurt, my heart was broken a million times over and over again, and I couldn't just....live a normal life. I...I love you, Liam. I love you so much with everything that is in me and more. I love you more than words can express. I promise to cherish you and protect you for all the rest of my life. Let's be that family together. Let's grow that home with each other. Let's live so much in happiness and grow in love. Liam Jordans, be my husband again." She said and he blinked, laughing a little.
"You may kiss the bride." The announcer said and Liam bit his lips, staring at her with those eyes that made her heart race a million times in her chest. She was excited as he opened her veil to stare deeply at her.
"I love you, Alexandra." He said and claimed her lips.
The crowd immediately cheered in pure excitement.
