Chapter 111 111
Jace sighed slowly as he walked into his classroom, his bag at his back as he walked in. The noises in the class stopped a little and he directly walked to his seat without even minding anyone beside him.
"Jace!!" Jade's voice rang in his ears when he'd barely had his seat and he sighed. She had been talking since they got into the car and even when they got to school, he had had to slip away from her so he would get into his class quickly, but here she was again.
"Jace?" Her face showed through the door as she peeped in. Her eyes brightened when she saw him and smirk curved her lips upwards.
"Guess what?" She asked loudly and he tilted his head to get a better look so he wouldn't have to get up from his seat.
"Daisy just transferred. She's not joining us for the new session."
"What? How did you find out about that?"
"She told Alice this morning and Alice told me. She's actually leaving with her mom right now." Before Jade's words landed completely, she felt the whoosh of air beside her and Jace was out of the class.
"I knew it, Jace! You liked Daisy." Jade screamed as she ran after him, down the low stairs and towards the parking lot.
Jace breathed heavily as he watched Daisy and her mom walk towards their car.
"Go and talk to her." Jade nudged him lightly by the shoulders as she glanced at him.
"There is no need. She's leaving the school already. We can not be friends any longer." He sighed, his shoulders slumping down.
Jade's lips curved downwards as she stared at him pitifully and before Jace could turn, she opened her mouth and screamed as loudly as she can.
"Daisy!!!!!" She shouted. It was late when Jace's hand went to her lips, Daisy had already heard. Even her mother turned,
"Who are they?" She snapped with an angry frown on her face, staring at Daisy with annoyance.
Unfortunately, Daisy's mother was the kind who only wanted her daughter to study without making friends. Education was everything to the woman who felt Daisy was the one to break the family's barriers and make them get to the top through education and power. Daisy wasn't exactly doing that as she was making friends with.....Alice. and as a result, she was being transferred out of the school to keep her from making more.
Seeing Jade and Jace, Daisy's mom's anger intensified and she stared at Daisy with a dark glow.
"Cut ties with them immediately." She shot loudly. Her words immediately got to the twins who frowned. Daisy's mom was exactly just like Alice's father. Both were unreasonably evil. Maybe that's why it was easy to become friends with her. Alice was their cousin and even if Daisy wasn't Jade's friend...yet, she was still Alice's friend and she was family.
Jade picked her little legs and strode towards them, making Jace go after her.
"Are you Daisy's mom?" She asked and the woman frowned lightly.
"Such insolent child. Where are your manners?" She snapped.
"Apologies ma'am. I wanted to know if you were Daisy's mom?" Jade said without even pausing for a moment. It seemed to Daisy's mom that the little girl would have replies for all her questions rapidly.
"I am. And who are you?"
"I'm Jade. Soon to be Daisy's friend. And my brother likes Daisy a little, so he would be her friend too."
Jace's eyes widened as he turned to Jade, " I didn't say that."
"Doesn't matter, big boy." Jace hit his chest lightly without even looking at him, making Jace give up.
"It seems like Daisy doesn't want to change schools, are you forcing her?" Jace asked, his eyes bright.
"Daisy isn't doing fine here. So, she has to change schools."
"Daisy, is that true?" Jace ignored the woman and turned to Daisy.
"I...."
"I am her mother." Daisy's mom pulled her daughter behind her, making her go quiet and Daisy shivered.
"Mum..." She pulled her mother's clothes tightly.
"What is it!" The woman's nose flared angrily and Daisy pulled away from behind her.
"These are the twins, Jade and Jace Jordans." She introduced and her mother eyes blinked rapidly as she turned to look at her.
"Jordans? You mean Liam and Alexandra's kids?" She asked and Daisy nodded.
"They are your friends?" She asked, making Jade blinked.
"What do you mean? My cousin sister, Alice, is also Daisy's friend. You are going to pretend you didn't know that too?" She said.
"Everyone knows Alice is not as influential as you too. At least, for now. But thinking you two are Daisy's friends. It is worth it. Even without her brains, she would easily make it in the future. She would stay at this school, what do you think?"
"Are you using Daisy as a means to gold dig?" Someone asked and the kids turned back, just to see Alexandra who was staring at Daisy's mom with a furrow in her brows. Her arms were so tightly wrapped around each other and her lips were pressed tightly, and could easily be mistaken for annoyance but it was not, because she was actually very angry right now.
The species of humans appearing right now in the world scared her. How could this woman be a mother to a small beautiful child like Daisy? It was totally unrealistic.
"If you had worked as hard as Daisy at this age, you would be greater than Liam Jordans, don't you think? You are trying to use your baby to make connections? Even forcing her to leave her school against her will? It is pathetic." Alexandra's eyebrows shot up with her words. A vixen spewing out danger. Daisy's mother could not relate. Would she want to stand up against Alexandra and risk having the queen and king of the nation against her family? Def no!
"Daisy wants to be friends with the kids." The woman shot and Alexa shrugged.
"The kids also wants to be friends with Daisy, so why not? But as for you, I don't think you have the right to choose Daisy's friends for her. If she doesn't like Jace and Jade, she has the right to reject them. Don't make choices for her."
"Daisy is my child!"
"And the twins's friend too." Alexa gave a small smile, "It would be better if you don't change her school."
