Chapter 31 End Of Diana

Chapter 31 End Of Diana
I speak in anger, my voice trembling, yet a fierce courage burns in my eyes, “Are you human or an animal? If not for me, then at least think about that innocent little child.”

Suddenly, Diana bursts into loud laughter, laughter so cruel it feels like it tears through my heart. There is no shame in her eyes, no pain, only poison.

“Which child?” she asks mockingly, as if I’ve cracked a joke.

My heart starts pounding violently. I step forward and say, “Your daughter.”

The moment the words leave my mouth, Diana’s smile widens, but it’s no longer a smile it twists into something dark and venomous. She looks straight at me and then speaks coldly, “She is not my daughter. She is just a means… a way to get closer to Michael.”

The ground seems to slip from beneath my feet. My heart feels like it’s shattering inside my chest.
Diana keeps talking, without pause, without a trace of remorse.

“I have only one goal to seize all of Michael’s property. That child is nothing but a pawn in this game.”

I stand there, stunned. My lips begin to tremble, and darkness blurs my vision. I can’t believe a mother could be so heartless.

Seeing my condition, Diana seems even more pleased. She takes a step closer to me, her voice low but dripping with venom.

“But ever since you, bloody bitch, entered Michael’s life…” she snarls through clenched teeth, “he sees nothing else. Not money, not power… only you.”

My heart starts racing. I want to step back, but my feet feel frozen to the ground. Hatred burns fiercely in her eyes.

“Today I will kill you,” she whispers, almost softly.
“Neither will you stay alive… nor will you remain close to him.”

In that moment, I realize I’m not fighting just for my own life. I am fighting for that innocent little girl
a child who is being destroyed by her own mother’s hands.

I speak in a trembling voice, my breath tangled and uneven, “No… please, Diana… leave Ira.”

Hearing my words, Diana bursts into loud laughter. Her laugh echoes through the entire room a laugh with no trace of mercy in it. “You won’t survive,” she says coldly, “not Ira… and not the Michael’s child growing in your womb.”

Her words strike me like lightning. In panic, I place my hand over my stomach. Suddenly, a sharp pain surges through me, as if something is crushing my breath from the inside. My vision starts to blur, and everything around me feels distant.

In a fit of rage, Diana lifts her gun and points it straight at me. My heart begins to pound violently.
Terrified, I shut my eyes and whisper silently to myself, “Oh God… please help.”

The very next moment, the deafening sound of a gunshot rips through the air. My entire body jolts in fear.

But a few seconds later, I realize something unbelievable the bullet hasn’t hit me.

I hurriedly look down at my stomach I’m unharmed. Then I look at Ira, she’s perfectly fine too. My breathing steadies slightly, but what I see next shakes my soul.

Diana has been shot in the stomach. Blood is flowing freely. Her face turns pale, and she collapses to the floor.

I stand frozen in shock, as if my feet have been nailed to the ground, I can’t even process what just happened.

Then I turn around. My eyes widen in disbelief.

Michael is standing there gun in his hand, fury blazing in his eyes. Behind him is his entire team of bodyguards, holding Diana’s men captive.

My strength breaks. I sob uncontrollably and rush toward Michael, tears streaming down my face.
I look at him with tear-filled eyes, as if he is my last hope.

Michael glances at me for just a second… then ignores me completely, He walks straight toward Diana. She is lying on the ground, writhing faintly, as if life is slowly slipping away from her.

Without any emotion, without saying a single word, Michael fires again four… five bullets straight into her chest. The sound of the gunshots is so loud that little Ira trembles in fear.

I immediately pull Ira into my arms and hold her tightly against my chest. Her tiny body is shaking uncontrollably.

Without looking at me, without saying anything, Michael walks out. I understand instantly he is angry with me.

My heart feels heavier than ever, but I don’t stop. Holding Ira carefully, I run after him.

Outside, Michael gets into his car. I quickly sit in the seat beside him.

He starts the car and drives at a terrifying speed without uttering a word. I am shaking badly.

“Please… drive slowly,” I beg in a trembling voice.

Instead of slowing down, he presses the accelerator harder. The car speeds ahead like the wind.

Little Ira and I cling to each other tightly. My hand rests on her head, as if I want to shield her from every fear in the world.

After some time, Michael suddenly stops the car near a deep ravine. I look at him in shock.

He steps out of the car. Panicked, I follow him. Then I see two more cars stop behind us. Bodyguards step out carrying Diana’s body.

My soul trembles at the sight. Michael’s face is like stone merciless.

He simply blinks his eyes. The very next moment, the bodyguards throw Diana’s body into the ravine with one hard push.

I stare in horror. Her body falls downward… and then disappears from sight.

A scream tears out of my throat, “Ahhhhh…!!!”

Michael turns and looks at me, His eyes meet mine. And at that very moment, my strength gives up.

The world starts spinning around me. Darkness floods my vision. I collapse right there on the ground and my eyes slowly close.
