Chapter 73: Consummate

Chapter 73: Consummate
Azarius
High Priest Julianus's words hung in the air, the moment I had dreamed of finally within reach. "You may now kiss the bride."
My heart pounded as I gently lifted Macedonia's veil, revealing her face flushed with a delicate hue of pink. Her wide eyes met mine, a flicker of nervousness mingling with the softness in her gaze. For a moment, the world around us faded, leaving only her—the woman I could finally call my wife.
With a tenderness I couldn’t suppress, I cupped her cheek, my thumb brushing against her warm skin. Her beauty in this moment was unparalleled, and the weight of everything we had endured to reach this day pressed against my chest.
She swallowed hard, her lips parting as if to say something, but her voice wavered. "If you’re uncomfortable, a kiss on the cheek would—" Her words broke off as I leaned in, closing the space between us.
The first press of my lips against hers sent a spark racing through me. Her breath hitched, her body momentarily stiffening before she melted into the kiss. The warmth and softness of her response ignited something deeper within me, and I couldn’t resist deepening the connection, savoring the taste of her.
A soft sound escaped her. It was a quiet, unintentional moan that sent a surge of satisfaction coursing through me.
A smile curved against her lips, and I knew in that moment this wasn’t just a kiss. It was a promise, a seal of the bond we had created, stronger than any words could convey.
The High Priest’s discreet cough finally broke the spell, and we pulled apart reluctantly. Macedonia’s face was a deeper shade of red now, her eyes averted, but her lips still held the faintest curve of a smile.
At long last, Macedonia was now officially my wife and the Luna Queen of the Sowinski Kingdom.
After the reception, we got to be alone in my chamber where Macedonia owned it now, too. We were both so nervous since this was the night we were both consummating our marriage, especially that she told me that she would give me an heir. But I didn't see her that.
I never saw Macedonia as a breeder, but she was the only woman who I wanted to be with, the only woman I loved and cherished.
"You're not just someone who I would breed for an heir, Macedonia," he said seriously. "You're my best friend, and we will be the best parents of the world."
"We will be..."
Whispering softly, I reassured her, promising to be gentle. Yet, beneath the calm exterior, my thoughts raced with uncertainty.
Could I truly please her as I claimed her as my own?
We were both venturing into uncharted territory, neither of us with any prior experience. But I was determined, every touch and caress an effort to ensure her pleasure and comfort.
I let my lips trail to her ear, teasing her earlobe before moving to the tender curve of her neck. My tongue grazed her soft skin, finding the spot that made her gasp. My hands explored her form, gentle yet deliberate, massaging and kneading her sensitive curves. My lips found their way to her peaks, my tongue tracing delicate circles as I sought her softest sighs.
Her sweet moans filled the room, a melody of trust and vulnerability, each sound spurring me onward. As her fingers tangled in my hair, her grip tightened when I reached the most sensitive part of her, my tongue flicking with deliberate care. The way she whispered my name, trembling under my touch, made my chest tighten with both pride and tenderness.
This moment was ours alone—intimate, raw, and etched into my soul forever.
Our breaths intertwined as I slowly entered her, the intimacy of the moment amplified by the way our eyes locked, speaking volumes without words.
"Does it hurt?" I murmured, my voice laced with concern, though desire coursed through me, urging me forward. I paused, catching the subtle wince on her face, the slight tension in her body.
"I didn’t realize... you’re this big, Azarius," she whispered, her breaths uneven.
Her words sent a surge of heat through me, a low chuckle escaping my lips. "Careful, darling, or I might let that go straight to my ego," I teased, though my movements remained gentle, deliberate.
Every instinct told me to move, to claim her fully, but I held back, savoring the moment. Slowly, I began to shift, taking her in deeper with each careful motion. The way her body responded to me, her soft gasps and the way she clung to me, mirrored the vivid descriptions from the romance novels I had once secretly read.
The raw connection, the unspoken trust, and the overwhelming sense of rightness... yet nothing could have prepared me for the reality of this moment.
"Asshole." She hissed and smiled before looking down. Her cheeks burned as she averted her gaze before nodding. "Go on. I want to feel you inside me," she said in her sultry pitch.
The moment her soft whisper gave me the unspoken permission, a fire ignited within me, consuming every ounce of restraint I had.
I began slowly, my movements deliberate, my eyes locked onto hers to catch every flicker of her reaction. Her gaze met mine briefly before fluttering shut, her lips parting with a quiet gasp as I shifted her legs over my shoulders, deepening the connection between us.
Her voice broke the silence, breathless and sweet. "Azarius... Darling..."
The sound of her calling my name, filled with longing, sent a thrill through me that was impossible to ignore. Her moans, soft and unguarded, only fueled the intensity of my desire.
Leaning down, I captured one of her soft peaks in my mouth, the taste of her driving me further into a haze of passion. Every sound she made, every shiver that ran through her body, was a testament to the bond we now shared.
This was the moment I had waited for, dreamed of, yearned for. The culmination of every unspoken promise and every ounce of effort I had poured into building our future together.
She was mine, as I was hers, and nothing in the world could compare to the feeling of truly claiming her as my own.
The dim light of the chamber bathed the room in a soft glow, shadows dancing on the walls as our breaths mingled. Each moment felt suspended in time, every touch and sound weaving a tapestry of emotions that had been building for years.
Macedonia's fingers traced the curve of my jaw, her gaze holding mine with an intensity that made the air between us crackle. She smiled faintly, her nerves evident but overshadowed by the trust that radiated from her.
"I’ve waited for this, Azarius," she whispered, her voice steady despite the rapid rise and fall of her chest.
Her words struck a chord deep within me. My chest swelled with both pride and an overwhelming need to ensure this moment was perfect—for her, for us.
I leaned closer, brushing my lips gently against hers, savoring the softness and warmth. Her hands slid up my arms, steadying herself as I deepened the kiss, letting my actions speak the words I couldn’t fully articulate.
This wasn’t just a physical union; it was the culmination of everything we had fought for, every bond we had built, and every promise we had made.
"Are you ready?" I murmured, my voice low, my forehead resting against hers.
Macedonia nodded, her cheeks flushed, her lips parted as she drew in a shaky breath. "With you, always," she replied, her voice laced with both vulnerability and resolve.
Guiding her with care, I ensured every movement was deliberate and tender. The way she responded to my touch, her body arching into mine, sent shivers down my spine. The sound of her soft gasps and whispered name echoed in my ears, filling the room with a symphony that would forever remain etched in my memory.
As we moved together, a rhythm unique to us, the world outside the chamber faded into insignificance. This moment was ours, untainted and pure, a celebration of the love we had nurtured through years of trials and triumphs.
When her eyes locked onto mine, shining with unspoken emotion, I felt a surge of gratitude. This was where I was meant to be, by her side, now and always.
"You’re mine," I murmured against her lips, the words a vow that transcended any ceremony or declaration.
"And you’re mine," she replied, her voice steady, her fingers threading through my hair.
And I love you, Macedonia...
How I wished I could say that, too...
