CHAPTER 20: CAME BACK

I am happy because I can already see Liam. I’m expecting that the Liam I loved is the one arriving. When I was home, I was happy for seeing Don Ricardo and Madam smiling while Liam is coming down. I was so happy, Fatima was right he was handsome but why am I seeing hatred in his eyes.

I am in the garden drinking alcohol after we fought and I can’t believe he is still blaming me for what happened to his brother.

“ Young Lady it’s already dark why are you still here? It’s Mr. Ronal, he was the one who took care of me because I was also blaming myself because my friend Fatima died. That day I know something bad will happen because I saw Thalia but I ignored it.

“ Young Lady the person behind it was already caught, do not blame yourself forever,” said Mr. Ronald.

After I went out of the hospital, I ordered them to investigate who was the person behind it and they found out, it was Thalia responsible for the incident and I was surprised that Uncle Theo was also part of it. They are both in jail right now. Don Ricardo and Madam know about it but they didn’t tell Liam.

“ Mr. Ronald can you book my trip to the Philippines” I want to go home, I need my family right now.

“ When do you want to go Young Lady? “ ask Mr. Ronald

“ tomorrow, take the 1st flight for me” it’s my family who can help me right now.

“ okay Young Lady” I left my drink and went in, I slept in the other room because I know that Liam doesn’t want to see me.

It was already late in the evening when I slept and I suddenly woke up at 5 am because of my dream. I can’t get rid of the incident it keeps running in my mind even if I’m awake or asleep.

I stand up and went down to get some wine when I pass Liam who’s looking at me angrily. I sit down and poured the wine on my glass when he grabbed it.

“ A Young Lady doesn’t act what you are doing,” he said

“ I will give up being a young lady, I will return your grandfather’s wealth and I will return to where I came from,” I said and I took my glass of wine and drink it.

“ going home? So that’ what you will do? After bringing curse into my family you’ll just go and leave!” he angrily said.

“I will not leave the curse that you are saying because I’m going to bring it forever in my life!” I poured a wine and drink it again.

“ young lady your flight is 7 am,” said Mr. Ronald.

“ thank you, Mr. Ronald” I stood up and went to our room. I’m packing all my things when Liam grabs my arm.

“ you will not leave because we are getting married, that’s what you want right!” he grabs my arms so tight.

“ just like what I said, I am turning my back as---- “ I stop talking after I saw Liam throw the bottle of wine.

“ We are getting married and I will blame you every day and show you how you killed my brother” he loses my arms and left. I was so afraid.

“ Young Lady” Mr. Ronald helped me to sit.

“ Young Lady your mother called from the Philippines, she said your father had a heart attack she wants you to speak with your father” my tears fell after hearing that.

“ I will go Mr. Ronald” I ran to our room and I saw Liam sitting who’s looking at me very angry but I ignored him and packed my clothes. After I finish packing my clothes, I saw Liam holding my passport.

“ I need to go, give me my passport” I tried getting it from him but he doesn’t like to give it.

“ you will not leave, did you forget, we will go somewhere later,” he said

“ my father needs me now, I will come back here and marry you but please I need to see my father,” I said

“ No! You will come with me and it’s more important than your father, let’s finish it first and after that, you can go”. I can’t do anything but follow him.

“ Okay then” after he was able to leave me.

“ you will stay there for just one night and ill send someone to take you” I look at him and leave him.

“ Mr. Ronald please reschedule her flight” I know Mr. Ronald is there

“ okay Young Lady” he left

I went to the other room and waited for the time to get ready for my walk with Liam but I couldn’t calm down because my dad was already waiting for me.

Knock knock

I opened the door and I saw the maid holding a dress.

“ Young Lady, Young Master told me that you will wear this dress” I took it and close the door. I removed it from the box and I saw a white dress. Why do I have to wear this?

I was going down when I saw Don Ricardo and Madam together with Liam, I don’t have an idea what is happening right now.

“ are you ready to become Mrs. Montequinto?” I was surprised by what Madam said and I look at Liam who doesn’t care about it.
