CHAPTER 2: RULES
LIAM
Mr. Ronald came to us to tell us that they already found our perfect wife. Our parents chose our future wife because we had to get married. After all, that was my grandfather’s order.
“ Young Master’s here they are” we look at them behind the window. They can not see us because the glasses are tinted.
“ Okay! not bad, our parents were good,” said my twin brother Lucas.
“ I want the girl on right, what do you think bro ?” said Lucas.
“ then the left one is for me?” I asked.
“ what if we ask a question to try if we have chosen the right girl? “ I looked at my older brother, I let him ask and I was just listening.
“ What is the right girl's name?” okay! Look like he likes that girl.
“ Fatima Dela Cruz” I saw him smile.
“ Okay here is your question, which color do you prefer red or blue?” my brother’s favorite color is blue.
“ blue” Fatima answered and he was jumping like an idiot.
“ who’s on the left girl?” he asked.
“ Sofie Cruz” we look at each other. Shit!
“which you prefer red or blue?” We look at her seriously, so this is her now, she was our childhood friend.
“ none” my brother was stunned at the moment and I laugh. It’s her! one of our playmates but we went to States and left her without saying anything.
“ she’s your bro!” my brother was smiling because my favorite color is none of the choices
“ okay Mr. Ronald we decided already,” said Lucas.
“ I choose the right one and my brother’s on the left” tsk! He looks excited.
“ Okay, Young Lady Fatima I want you to meet Young Master Lucas” I saw Ronald take Fatima’s hand on the hole to meet Lucas. My brother acts like an idiot, does he need to wipe his hand?
“ Young Lady Sofie I want you to meet Young Master Liam” but she refuses.
“ meet? How can I meet him? I couldn’t even see his face from here” she said
“ ahhh about that Young Lady, you will only see their faces when you finished your training and passed it,” said Ronald, he’s the one in charge of the house.
“ huh? How long is our training?” asked Fatima.
“ 1 year Young Lady Fatima” we see the shock on their faces. That’s how it is, they need to be trained because they are marrying special persons.
“ then they will also hide there for a year,” said Sofie
“ no, we have room for both of us,” I said and Sofie look in front of my glass.
“ Young Lady Sofie you stay to Young Master Liam and the same way with Young Lady Fatima she will stay to Young Master Lucas” explained Ronald
“ let them see the rooms, Ronald,” said Lucas. They look confused they should see the rooms.
It is a room which is divided into two, for her and me because they can not see us until they finished their training. While we were waiting for them, I was waiting for something.
“ So that was Sofie, she looks beautiful, that messy child before” I look at Lucas
“ looks like her attitude is still the same,” I said
“ looks like it will be difficult for her ” My brother smiled, we knew Sofie, she has short patience so it will be difficult for her.
“ then good luck to her,” I said and lay down.
“ then why did our mom choose her? I thought they don’t like her because she doesn’t act like a girl” I was also wondering why did they choose her because they said she is ugly, messy, and doesn’t have manners.
“ We need to ask our mom,” said Lucas.
“ I think there is a reason why they choose her”. Lucas looked at me.
“ big reason” he added. So we thought about it.
“ Young Master’s I have already explained everything to them ”we looked at the window
“ Okay, let them rest and come back here ”I ordered, Mr. Ronald nodded and accompanied them to their room.
“Young Master” Mr. Ronald returned then he closed the door and we went out to see him.
“ What will they do first? ” I ask
“ madam I said our priority is that they should know the rules of the family, but they will do differently “I looked at my brother.
“ what do you mean different?” I ask
“ for Young Lady Fatima, the things she will do are simply walk, eat, cook and socialize with people while Young Lady Sofie, she will study everything like madam did ” we heard it clearly and I couldn’t believe it.
“ and Young Master Lucas, madam says you will marry Young Lady Fatima within 6 months” my older brother and I were surprised. Why is it like this?
“ Why did mom’s decision suddenly? “ ask Lucas
“ Because next year it’s Young Master Liam who will get married, your brother's wedding can’t be done at the same time ”it looks like mom has been planning this for a long time but why is it only Sofie who will be tortured? Based on what I heard, it was said that mom went too far to become a young lady then and she cried every night while dad did nothing but watch mom struggle to become a young lady.
