CHAPTER 17: FRAME-UP

I can’t believe Thalia can do that to me, we’ve been together so long and I trusted her and she will never stab my back. I can’t believe Sofie will eat that soup even if she knew that there is poison in it and Fad, I almost killed him for bringing that soup out.

I accept that I didn’t help our dad before when he was miserable and he has a reason to get mad at us.

“ Theo” I was in the garden thinking about what happened when Vivian came

“ sister” she approach me and brought me some coffee.

“ Are you still thinking about it?” she asks

“ I just can’t believe that Thalia can do that, all I did is love her and I can’t believe that it will be the one to drag me down” she look at me.

“ you loved the wrong person brother” I look at her I thought she will blame me but she comforted me.

“ your company is going down and I’m willing to help you” I won’t be surprised if she knew about my company because she was our eldest and she all know what is happening to us.

“ I thought Thalia will help me but she made it even worst. I don’t know what to do right now, my companies don’t have a chance to stand up again even if you help me” we need a lot of money to bring back the status of the company.

“ I will not be the only one who will help you, remember theo that you have four siblings left and we are willing to help you” I was about to cry that time because they are willing to help me even though I made so many mistakes.

“ thank you sister, thank you so much,” I said. I hug her when my phone rang and I need to answer it.

“ hello” I heard Thalia’s voice.

“ I want to talk to you, please visit me here” I didn’t let my sister know that it was Thalia I was talking to

“ okay” I put down my phone.

“who’s that?” she asks.

“it’s my friend, he wants to help me so I’m going to see him“ looks like she believes it.

“ okay go ahead” I left her and went to Thalia

I went to jail where Thalia is being kept. I don’t know what she wants this time but I will not let myself get fooled again.

“ babe!” she hug me but I didn’t hug her back.

“ what do you want?” I ask her and look at her seriously

“ babe what with that look?” I grab her arms

“ you tried to kill me and then you’ll ask me that!” I madly say.

“ ouch, you’re hurting me, babe,” she said.

“ Why did you do that huh?” I ask.

“ its-its Sofie! She told me to do that” I frowned and let go of her arms

“ what? She told you?” I ask

“ She told me to put poison on your food because she wanted to get have what you will inherit. I didn’t want to do what she said but she threatened me that she will kill me. I don’t have a choice but to do it” what? I can’t believe what she said. isn’t it enough what father gave to her and she still wanted to have what father will give her.

“ that’s not all of it, she also wanted to have the inherits of your siblings. She wanted to inherit all of Don Ricardo’s property that’s why she told me to do that but I wasn’t expecting that she will put all the blame on me” she explained, as expected Thalia can’t do that to me.

“ Does that mean she is also the person behind why my companies are going down?” I ask.

“ yes babe, she threatened me so I can’t do anything but become a part of her plan” I can’t believe that her kind face has a bad intention for us.

“ babe please help me get out from here, I shouldn’t be the one jailed,” she asked.

“ don’t worry babe I will do something for you to get out from there,” I said, I need to look for Sofie first

I left her and drive fast to get to Sofie, fuck that girl! I will never let go of what she did. I came home and went to Sofie’s room immediately.

“ Uncle Theo!” Fatima was surprised. I saw Sofie sleeping and I choked her.

“ Uncle Theo what are you doing! Get away from her!” shouted Fatima while she’s pulling me.

“ U-uncle Theo” Sofie was able to push me while choking her. I came to my senses, all of it was my imagination. I wanted to kill her that time but I can’t do it.

“ Uncle Theo you came,” said Fatima.

“ I’m here to thank her but she is sleeping,” I said

“ ahh don’t worry I’m going to tell her that you visited her” I smiled at Fatima and I left them. Next time, you won’t be able to sleep, Young Lady.
