Chapter 105 Finding Fun
The thought barely surfaced before he forcefully suppressed it, a fierce possessiveness surging in his eyes.
No way. She was his. Even with the divorce papers signed, she could only belong to him.
At the entrance of the bar, the lights were bright, and the deafening music could be heard from across the street.
Luca parked his car, adjusted his suit jacket, and strode inside with purpose.
Inside, the lighting was dim, smoke hung in the air, and men and women on the dance floor swayed to the music. The air was thick with the smell of alcohol and perfume.
He frowned, his eyes quickly scanning the booths until they locked on Olivia and Emma in the corner.
The two were clinking their glasses, laughing with bright smiles. Olivia's cheeks were slightly flushed, clearly having had quite a few drinks already.
Luca's face darkened instantly as he marched over.
"Having a good time drinking?"
His icy voice cut through the noise, startling Emma so much that her hand shook, spilling some of her drink.
The moment Emma saw Luca, she was utterly shocked. How could he be here?
Olivia froze, too, looking up at Luca. Her smile vanished, replaced by a mix of surprise and disgust in her eyes.
"Why are you here?" She instinctively shrank back, as if dodging some terrifying beast.
Luca didn't answer. His gaze fell on the empty glass in front of her, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "Just got the investment and you're already letting loose like this? Looks like I overestimated you."
"Luca, what's that supposed to mean?" Emma jumped up, stepping in front of Olivia. "What's it to you if we're out having fun? Aren't you overstepping?"
She had never liked this man. He had hurt Olivia so badly back then, and now he had the nerve to show up and point fingers.
Luca glanced at Emma, the coldness in his eyes making her shiver involuntarily, but she held her ground.
"I'm talking to my ex-wife. What's it got to do with you?" Luca's tone carried an undeniable authority.
The word "ex-wife" pierced Olivia's heart like a needle. She shot to her feet, pushing Emma aside. "We're done. Get out of here and stop ruining our night."
"Done?" Luca sneered, reaching to grab her wrist. "I told you before, a divorce paper means nothing. If I want, you can be my wife again anytime."
"Let go of me!" Olivia yanked her hand away, stepping back. "Luca, can you have some shame? We're over!"
People around them started to notice the commotion, casting curious glances their way.
Seeing this, Emma quickly tried to smooth things over. "Sir, we have things to do. Please leave, or we'll have to call security."
"Call security?" Luca raised an eyebrow, his eyes full of disdain. "Do you think the security here would dare stop me?"
As the CEO of Vettel Group, there weren't many in this city who would dare to cross him.
Olivia knew he was right, and frustration welled up inside her. She grabbed Emma's hand. "Let's go. Don't waste time on him."
With that, she turned to head for the exit.
But how could Luca let her leave? He stepped forward, blocking her path and trapping her and Emma in the booth.
"Trying to leave?" Luca's gaze fell on Olivia's flushed cheeks, his Adam's apple bobbing slightly. "You've had so much to drink. I'll take you home."
"No thanks for your fake concern!" Olivia glared at him. "I can get home on my own. I don't need you."
"You, on your own?" Luca scoffed. "You can barely walk straight. If something happens, who's responsible?"
He wasn't wrong. Olivia had downed several cocktails, her head was spinning, and her steps were unsteady.
Emma noticed her condition too and whispered, "Liv, maybe let him take you home. I'd feel better about it."
"No way!" Olivia refused instantly. "I'd rather sleep here than let him take me!"
Her resistance to Luca was bone-deep.
Seeing her stubbornness, Luca felt both angry and pained. Without another word, he bent down and scooped her up in his arms.
"Ah! Luca, put me down!" Olivia yelped, struggling with all her might. But Luca's strength was overwhelming, and her efforts were useless.
"Stop moving!" Luca lowered his head, growling near her ear. "Keep struggling, and I'll kiss you right here."
His warm breath brushed against her ear, carrying a faint hint of alcohol, making Olivia freeze. She didn't dare move.
She was scared—scared he'd actually do something outrageous right there.
Emma, watching anxiously from the side, didn't dare step in. She could only follow them toward the exit. "Luca, don't hurt her!"
Emma's eyes welled up with tears as she saw Luca forcefully carrying Olivia out. She hurried after them, pulling out her phone with trembling hands to call Jason, her voice breaking. "Jason! It's bad! Luca took Liv! He just carried her out of the bar and is heading outside. Please, do something!"
Ten minutes earlier, Jason had received a report from his assistant. In the past five years, Luca hadn't been with Windy at all. Instead, he'd used every resource to search for Olivia worldwide, even acquiring three small companies she'd once dealt with just to track her down.
Jason had been mulling over Luca's intentions when Emma's call came. His heart sank, and his tone turned cold and firm. "Tell me the bar's address. I'm on my way!"
Hanging up, Jason started his car and floored the gas.
Luckily, he was already in the area handling business. A few minutes later, he spotted the familiar black Bentley on the roadside.
Without hesitation, he sped up to chase it. His headlights cut through the night as the two cars raced down the empty streets in a dangerous pursuit.
Jason's car tailed the Bentley closely, inching nearer.
He honked, trying to get Luca to stop, but Luca seemed to ignore him, speeding up instead. The Bentley's engine roared, breaking the speed limit as it headed toward a luxury hotel in the city center.
"Luca! Stop the car!" Jason shouted through his window, but the car ahead showed no sign of slowing.
Several times, he tried to overtake and block Luca, but Luca skillfully dodged each attempt. The two cars weaved through traffic, narrowly avoiding collisions. Finally, the Bentley pulled up at the hotel entrance. Luca carried Olivia out and hurried into the lobby. By the time Jason arrived, the elevator doors were closing, showing the number for the top floor.
Jason immediately told his assistant to pull the hotel's security footage as he rushed to the elevator.
Meanwhile, in the presidential suite on the top floor, Luca threw Olivia onto the bed with such force that she groaned in pain.
"Looking for male models?" Luca's eyes were bloodshot, veins bulging on his forehead. He yanked off his tie, tossing his suit jacket to the floor, revealing the sharp lines of his shoulders and back. "Just got the investment and already so eager to have fun? Olivia, are you that desperate for a man?"
Olivia, dizzy from the fall and the alcohol hitting her hard, still managed to glare at him defiantly. "Who I look for is none of your business! Luca, let me go!"
"None of my business?" Luca leaned down, his tall frame looming over her.
His hand roughly gripped her chin, forcing her to look at him. His fingers pressed so hard it felt like they might crush her bones. "Let's see if it's really none of my business!"
