Part 8 (Paying a Visit)
Adhvedh’s POV
It’s been two days since I didn’t see her so I decided to pay her a surprise visit. As the HR head has already sent me her Application, I Know her Address.
I was not so Porch Area, I don’t know why she was living there.
I went there after being stuck in traffic and all. It took me 40 minutes to get to her house. I saw a beautiful garden outside her house.
I ring the doorbell. When she open I saw her. She was in her comfortable clothes, a Messy bun and some Hair strands are playing on her head.
As she was not inviting me in, So I invite Myself. I sat on Sofa and Observe the house. Why She was living here, She has a whole fucking Mansion to Live and she was living in a small house which is nowhere to be compared to where she belongs.
I ask her to make Lunch, In Starting she argued but then got ready. When she was making lunch, She didn’t know I was clicking her pictures secretly.
I came back to the living room and sat, I saw her laptop and was about to open it but she shouted.
“Adhvedh”
“What?” I ask
“I mean Adhvedh, Lunch is ready to come” she smiled weirdly, I put her laptop and when towards the table to sit.
She made Butter Naan, Paneer vegetables, Tadka Dal, and Jerra Rice. I was savoring that food. It was so yummy I cannot believe My doll learn to cook so well in these years.
I excitedly said “Amaira It was very yummy”
“Hmm,” She just gave a small smile and back to eating food.
After food, I sat on the sofa again.
Amaira came from the kitchen.
“Now You are done with Lunch so please leave” She respected said
“Not fair, This is how you treat your guest?” I ask raising an eyebrow
“No, But some guests are unnecessarily poking their nose in my life and coming into my house without invitation, I treat them like this” She smirked
“Okay, I’m leaving,” I said and stand. I know she was coming behind me to close the door.
Before I get closer to the door. I turn and grab her waist to kiss her. I deeply kissed her and as expected she was not responding but this time she slaps me.
Without saying anything I just left the Place.
I was driving and thinking. ‘I was trying to be gentle but she is being an angry bird all the time’. No More Gentle Amaira, Now You’ll see the Monster which was born in me after you left. Smirk Appears on my face.
Amaira’s POV
‘How the fucking dare he kiss me?’ Now and then he tries to annoy me, Doesn’t he have any other work?
With that Jerk, I sat on the sofa. My Rest day was spent with ‘How the fucking I’m gonna face him tomorrow?’ But wait isn’t he the one who kissed me?
‘But that you slapped him, You fucking slapped your boss Amaira’ My mind shouted
“ughh” Don’t Overthink, So I decided to sleep.
I already got my car delivered so the next day I got ready and left the house after Adhira went to her school.
After reaching the office, I saw on my watch it was 9. 25 already. Fuck I have to take his coffee sharp at 9. 30 AM.
I ran and made coffee for him first, As the machine on our floor is not working so I have to go for the Common coffee machine. After 5 minutes I made it and was on the way to His Floor but because My left leg was entangled with my Right one, I mistakenly drop the cup on the floor. The hot coffee spilled on my hand. “Ouch”
Thank God I didn’t fall or else so much embarrassment I have to take on. I burn my wrist because of the coffee but Right now I have to fasten and make a new one. I went near the machine again and made coffee. This time I was careful but That Burning sensation was on my hand.
I knock on his cabin and went after ‘Come In’
‘Sir Your coffee’ I said and put the coffee on the table.
“You are 17 Minutes late Miss Amaira,” He said coldly.
“Sir” I was cut off “And Why were you not in the office for the Last Three Days,” He ask coldly
“Huh,” I ask in confusion, He was yesterday in my house and suddenly now behaving like nothing happened yesterday.
So he wants to Play Pretending things, I’ll play it too.
“I ask you something Miss Amaira” He shouted angrily
“Sir I was on leave and I already inform that to HR before taking Leave” I try not to cry on his raised voice.
“Did you Inform me?” He asks.
‘Do I have to Inform him too?’ I didn’t know about that
“DID YOU INFORM ME?” He this time very dangerously asks and My tears start to fall.
“No Sir,” I said looking down at my feet, I don’t want him to see my tears.
“You didn’t inform me, and Today you came late, Great Miss Amaira, is this My office or any Government office where People can come late and Take leaves without asking the boss?” He asks coldly.
“I’m sorry sir this won’t happen again,” I said wiping my tears.
“I hope and yes as you were not in the office your work is still pending so complete your work and then only leave for your house,” He said
“What?” I was shocked; he means to say I have to complete My 3 days' work in one day.
“Do You Have Any problem?” He asks raising his Eyebrows.
“No sir” I abruptly wipe my tears
“Now Good Take these files, and start working,” He said pointing to the mountains of Files.
I went near and took some but as those files touch my burning area “Ouch” came out of my mouth
“Huh? Did you say something?” he asked
“No sir”
I went out of his cabin but I have to go back to take the remaining files and when this time I took those files it burns more “Ouch” again came out but this time neither he ask nor I said and went to my cabin and start working but I was having a problem working on a laptop as My wrist is getting frictions from the laptop.
But I have to complete this bunch of files today before 7 or else I had to work overtime, I can’t do that, My Adhira doesn’t have a habit of living alone for so long.
I saw a wristwatch and It was Lunchtime. I didn’t know How Many Hours I’m working but I can’t go for lunch Right now so I texted Lancy and Start working.
Exactly 7. 30 PM. I relaxed as My work was completed, I work ass off today.
I took all the files and went into his cabin Just to see him with a girl who is being Clingy to him like a Monkey.
“Don’t you have Manners to knock?” she asks as she raises her head
‘I didn’t even have this much space in my hand to knock so I came in without knocking
“I’m talking to you idiot” she shouted.
“Miss You can see I had so many files in my hand so I didn’t knock” I just gave her reason although she was not My boss but as Adhvedh was not saying anything I just gave reason and was about to leave but That Girl hold my wrist hardly
“ahhh Leave me,” I said
She drags me towards the door to give me an act of how to knock on a door
“Leave me, Miss, It’s hurting me,” I said but she was not listening.
I was trying to get rid of the hold but...
“Leave me” I shouted
“Bitch dare to shout at me,” She said and was about to slap me but stop in midway
Adhvedh holds her hand.
“Leave Now” He shouted
That Girl smirk at me and I was about to turn to leave
“Not you,” he said
“I’m talking to you,” he said to that girl
“What?” She asks in amusement
“I said Leave” he shouted in a dangerous tone
“What? You are saying me to leave because of this bitch” She said
“I said leave and dare to say any word against her and I’ll chop your tongue,” He said dangerously, I was amused about what he said
She left but not before giving me those death glares.
“Sit,” he said pointing towards the sofa
I did what he commanded as a Puppy because I don’t want to piss him off, At least not right now
He came with First aid and start treating My burning part.
“If you burn your hand in the morning then why didn’t you tell me,” He ask without raising his head
I didn’t respond but after he finish his first aiding the burn I stand was about to leave.
“I still Love you Amaira,” he said and I was shocked like my legs were frozen in one place.
I didn’t answer him but run from there to leave for the house.
On the way, I don’t know why I was crying but when he said he loves me, my heart beats so fast.
All the Memories flash back in my mind Like he used to tell me He loves me a lot now and then but then Why did you take that decision Adhvedh and Why did you cheat?
I was asking these questions and reached home.
I didn’t have any appetite left so after feeding My Lil Adhira. I and Adhira slept in the same room today.
