Part 5 (Suffocation)

He Signalled everyone to sit down. I even sit down. One person came from his behind and gave him a Lunch box. He start eating, I was feeling uneasy but I took out My lunch and start eating. I felt his constant gaze on me so I didn’t finish the meal properly and stand from there and left the area.

After the Freaking whole day, I went inside his cabin after knocking to inform him that I’m leaving, This was written in the clause that I have to Inform My boss about my leave.

“Sir I’m Leaving, Today’s work is done,” I Politely said

He didn’t answer but his back was facing me as he was sitting on the chair.

I didn’t bother to stand there wasting my time. My Adhira was waiting for me.

I went into my cabin and took My bag and My essentials. I start walking towards the Public elevator but I saw there was a board and it was written that this Elevator is not working.

Huh, now I have to take a Private Elevator which is for My boss. I was waiting for the Elevator and It come ups. I went inside, It was about to close but someone came rushing, It was no other than My Boss.

Fuck My luck, Now we both are in the same elevator but in different corners. I felt his gaze on me and straightly look into his eyes but suddenly Elevator got stopped. The lights are off now.

Oh, Fuck…. My Breathe start getting heavy, I was trying to stay composed but I start suffocating. I was about to fall so I closed My eyes but Pairs of hands catch me.

Adhvedh’s POV

When I saw her going out, I know it was Lunchtime so she went out. I’m damn sure she made some New Friends on the First day. Yaa Back then also she was like this.

I wanted to see my beauty so I went into the Lunch area. When everyone saw me they were shocked. Because I never came into the Lunch area that casually. As I sat everyone standup for My respect and even because they are my employees.

As Amaira standup, My eyes filled with anger. Why does she see herself as an employee only? She knows I love her still. I signaled everyone to sit. As she sits in front of me. I feel pleasure seeing her but I notice she didn’t comfortable.

She eats a little and then Stands to walk away. She was so uncomfortable around me but why? I know I was a mistake but isn’t she also a mistake?

I remember My Amiara used to love food a lot whenever we used to go on a date. She order a lot and was interested in food more than me… Haha, I was Just kidding.

After a Freaking day, I feel like want to hear music so I put on the AirPods and started slow music.

I didn’t feel anyone till I heard a Door close sound. I saw her Going and all the work files are on the table.

I took My coat and went behind her. The elevator was about to close but Thankfully I reached on time.

We Both are on opposite corners of the elevator. I was watching or can say staring at My Amaira. Her body became thin. When I used to date her she has a little Chubby body but still, I loved her.

Now I can see her Perfect curves. Suddenly elevator stopped.

Fuck Amaira start breathing heavily. I remember She feels suffocated in the Elevator. She was about to fall but I catch her.

I sat in Indian style putting her head on my lap.

“Amaira Breathe Breathe” I was rubbing her palm, but still she was not getting to breathe normally.

I saw she was losing her consciousness. “Amaira Please Open your eyes, Amaira” I got Panicked now.

I have to give CPR. I was doing it according to the steps.

I was giving her mouth-to-mouth respiration and suddenly her eyes got open. She pushed me and felt a Hard slap on my cheeks.

Before I could say something The elevator opens in the Parking lot.

She was very angry but I was just trying to help her. She took all her stuff and just vanished from there.

I run behind her but She just sat in the car and disappear, Again.

Amaira’s POV

I was Recklessly driving towards home. How dare he? My Mind shouted. Though you love it, My heart mocked.

“Shut the fuck up” I shouted and reached home.

I took out the Spare key and open the door. Yes, Adhira has one key and I had told her not to open the door if someone rang the doorbell as I already have a spare key.

“What is this Adhi?” I ask as I saw she was eating Nutella and that too whole box.

“Mumma” She cheerfully screamed and ran to hug me.

“Why did you eat a whole box of Nutella?” I said kneeling to her height.

“Mumma I love it, that’s why. It’s so yummy” She said humming

“I know it’s so yummy but eating the whole box at once is not good beta,” I said in a strict yet calm voice.

Suddenly I remember, I used to scold Adhvedh like this because he also eat the whole Nutella box in one day. Unknowingly tear fall from my eyes.

“Why are you crying, Mumma?” Adhi asks wiping my tears.

“Because of you, You don’t listen to Mumma na so that’s why Mumma is sad” I teasingly said and she lowered her head.

“I’m sorry Mumma, I’ll listen to you from now,” She said. I took her into my arms and kissed her. My Little angel.

“Okay now I’ll wash you, See Your whole face is of Nutella,” I said and she smiled.

After Washing her I took a Bath and Made dinner. We are done with dinner so I sat with Adhira in the Living room to ask what happen on her first day of school.

She Told everything excitedly, Like how she was the most obedient child in the class and how she Made New friends. I’m happy she is adjusting herself according to the environment.

She ask me about my first day so I told her it was just casual and hectic. I cannot tell her everything in detail. Yaa, I told her that I made new friends.

After talking and Tv she slept in my arms so I picked her up and put her in her bed covering her with a duvet. I also lay on the bed but Sleep was Far away from my eyes.

All of today’s events were flashing in my mind. How My Fate wants to play again. I was Happily living in London and Nowhere stuck with him for 2 years but After 2 years I’ll Leave this job and Go back to London.

Thinking of that I closed my eyes and sleep consumed me.

Adhvedh’s POV

After she disappear, I sat in my car and drove home. The whole Ride was Silent so I started the Radio.

Music started playing and It was Amaira’s Favorite one. I remember how she used to sit and sing this song when I was around her. I love this song so much.

I didn’t realize I reached home and during the whole ride, I was thinking about Amaira. I went inside my house and the maid came to serve me water.

After Gulping water, she asks me for dinner. “I’m coming in 5 minutes,” I said and went into the room. Yaa Maid needs to ask to set the table or not because sometimes due to meetings I have to do dinner at Meetings.

I took a long shower, Change into comfortable clothes, and went down.

I was done with dinner so I came back into the room. I called HR Head

“Hello sir,” He asks

“I want the Application form for My PA right now,” I said in a cold voice and cut the call.

He’ll email me.

When I open the Laptop I got an Email from HR Head. I am open to going through Amaira’s Form.

What was weird in the box for the Surname was Empty. She is Khurana, right? Her marital status was single. I was happy that she is still single.

I called my investigators. “Dig More about Amaira” I coldly said and cut the call.

I lay down on the bed and after so many years I notice that there is a smile on my face. But still, anger is there in my heart for Amaira. How can she do this with me 7 years ago?

Sleep consumed me.
