Chapter 52

Aria

"What a great plan you have made, Alpha Hunter Rodriguez! What a clever trap!" I wiped my tears before clapping for them, "A huge applause for both of you."

Hunter looked like his soul had left his body; There was an inexplicable horror within his eyes that did not fit with his deeds.

"Aria, listen..." He tried to speak.

"Don't you dare, don't you fucking dare to say anything from that filthy mouth of yours." I seethed.

I did not want my tears to fall, I did not want to show any sign of weakness for this monster I loved from all my soul but they did not seem to stop. They fell without any boundaries.

"Great. First, you ruin our moment and you are creating a scene. How much more pathetic do you need to be huh?" Ashley stormed toward me and without wasting a single second, I landed a tight slap across her cheek.

"I am not your Alpha who might tolerate this behavior of yours, I won't put up with a fucking slut like you so keep your mouth shut, and don't you dare to interrupt."

Her hand slowly moved to touch her cheek, taking a moment to realize what had just happened and getting out of the haze of disbelief.

"How dare you?" Anger flashed in her eyes, "How dare you hit me?"

"I can do much more than only hitting you. Try me." She definitely caught the warning beneath my words but I knew she wouldn't dare to get into a fight with me.

"What are you so proud of, huh? You are not the Luna, your own mate does not want you and planning to discard you like a used tissue paper. Neither you have the love of a mate nor a position to be scornful of." She spat, knowing her words would work like a weapon in breaking my heart into pieces, "There's nothing. You literally have nothing."

Hunter's silence during the entire time made it even more apparent that these were his words too.

"I might not have anything at all but at least I am not a slut like you who is ready to sell her dignity to be the Luna. Who are you even fighting for? This man over here who does not have any values or emotions? Despite being in a so-called relationship with you slept with every bloody she-wolf in the pack?" I chuckled, "I pity you, well actually not. Because characterless and filthy people like you deserve each other."

Ashley stood tongue-tied, eyes still glaring at me but obvious of the lack of terms.

"And you, you couldn't prove more what a piece of shit you are," I walked closer to Hunter, even looking at him pained me, "I for sure can now say that it is indeed a curse that moon goddess burdened you over me as a mate. A cheap, disgusting, and selfish man like you can only think for himself. You only care for yourself, you are incapable of love and it's a shame that I wasted my devotion for someone shitty like you."

He did not say anything nor did his face show any sort of emotion, "Enough! You'll come with me right now and do not even tell anyone about this ." He grabbed my wrist, his grip painfully hard and bruising.

I yanked my hand away from his hold and slapped him hard on the cheek; The sound resounded in the room as if giving Hunter another sharp hit right across his face just like he deserved.

"You are disgusting." My voice came out full of hatred, "And don't you even dare to touch me, I don't even want to see the face of a monster like you."

Hunter's jaw clenched and hands fisted to his sides, I did not know if it was anger or anything else nor did I try to read him because all that my eyes would catch were going to be his sins.

"You know what? You are indeed lifeless, you are ruined to the point where you don't even understand it. I tried, I tried fixing you, I tried accepting you the way you are but only to find out the truth that all your apologies and all your efforts were just a part of this sick game you have played with me." I spat.

"And what's more ironic is, you didn't even have to do this all to earn my dad's support and use me to present yourself as a responsible Alpha in front of the pack members because my dad would have never ever done anything that could harm the lives of the pack members and I hate to admit it but it is the damn truth that I never, even once in my lifetime thought of hurting your image or do anything that'd eventually bring damage for this pack." I harshly wiped away my tears; They would not stop falling, they just kept streaming down my face.

I grabbed his collars, yanking him close so that I could directly look into his eyes, "You and your sick mentality, Hunter......You are just so used to ruining things. You never fail to show what a monster you have become and thank god I finally learned the truth today that you can never be worthy of me, never!" I pushed him away.

"Enough. Get out of my room, right now." Ashley dared to grab my wrist to drag me.

Fury—It was all I could feel and, I saw red.

I grabbed her throat and pushed her against the nearest wall, raising her till her feet no longer remain on the ground. The veins on her neck began to wither under the pressure of my hand.

At first, she fought against my grip but then it was fear that I could see in her eyes, from her movements that started losing their strength and...It was a sight I relished.

"Next time you try to order, I'll make sure it'll be your last day in the pack, in fact in the world. And trust me, I don't even need the position of a Luna to throw you out," I tightened my hold, hearing the sound of her bones almost crushing underneath the force, "I am capable of doing that, I don't need to be the Luna to show you your place. I am Aria Wilson, and this name alone is worth more than your whole identity."

Hunter's worry became apparent for the life of his lover.

"Aria, let her go!" He rushed out, I could note the panic in his voice.

Of course, he'd not want this woman to die.

"Don't worry, I won't kill her anyways," I dropped her to the floor.

The pathetic weak she-wolf greedily took in air, her hand moving to touch the red marks of my fingers around her throat.

"See, I have let her go and...." I turned to look at Hunter, "I am letting go of you too. From now on you mean nothing to me, You have seen the love of a mate and now you'll see the rage of a she-wolf, the one you betrayed for your selfish motive."

Something flashed in his eyes, however, he did not say anything.

"I hate you, Hunter. I fucking hate you so much, and I so badly hope that you can see it in my eyes cause this time I mean every word I have said." I seethed, "You are dead to me."

I did not bother to waste another second and turned around before I stormed out of the room without another glance at them.
