Chapter 3 You have to choose..
“What?” I laughed bitterly, my voice shaking. “You can’t be serious… that has to be a joke, right?”
The Seer didn’t blink. Her lips curved slightly, as if my reaction was expected.
“Karek Pack is ruled by three Alphas?” I repeated, my throat tightening. “How is that even possible? And how...how do I belong to all three?”
My heart pounded so loudly I could hear it. Then suddenly, it hit me, the three marks she’d placed on me earlier.
I had thought it was some kind of blessing or protection spell, but I found it suspicious.
Now it all made sense.
I turned sharply toward her, my stomach twisting. Her small, sly smile told me everything I needed to know.
She mated me… to three Alphas.
“Does my father know about this?” My voice cracked. It was the only thing I could manage to say.
The Seer tilted her head, eyes glinting with something that almost looked like amusement. Then she nodded.
I stared at her, my chest tightening painfully.
He knew? My father knew about this, about me being tied to three Alphas, and he let it happen?
I think they all knew that was why they asked Elara to runway.
For a moment, everything inside me went cold. The man who raised me,had sold me like some kind of offering.
Moon Goddess, this couldn’t be real.
“No,” I said firmly, shaking my head. “No, I’m not accepting this. I can’t be mated to three Alphas. It’s wrong, it’s impossible!”
The Seer’s smile vanished. Her eyes turned dark and hard. “You can’t reject them,” she said coldly. “If you do, your pack will pay the price. A curse will follow you. Now stop wasting time. We’re late.”
Before I could react, she grabbed my hand, her grip iron-tight, and started pulling me forward.
I stumbled after her, barely processing where she was taking me. My mind was a mix of confusion and anger. Every step felt heavier than the last.
We reached a huge mansion that stood like a shadow against the cloudy sky. Its black stone walls stretched upward, the air around it thick with power and something else, something that made my wolf growl uneasily inside me.
We stopped before a massive door carved with strange runes. The Seer knocked softly.
While we waited, I looked around. The entire place was silent. No guards, no soldiers, not even a servant in sight. It didn’t feel like a pack territory, it felt like a graveyard.
A cursed one.
The door creaked open, and I flinched. A tall man stood there, dressed in a long black coat. His presence alone made my skin prickle. His scent was that of a pure-blooded werewolf, but his energy was sharp, unnatural.
His cold eyes landed on me. “Is she the one?” he asked the Seer.
She nodded once.
“Follow me,” he said simply.
I didn’t speak. I just followed, because I didn’t know what else to do.
The hallways were long and silent, the floors polished but empty. Every sound of our footsteps echoed like whispers of warning. My palms were sweaty, and my mind screamed at me to turn back.
We stopped before another large door. The man pushed it open, and the air inside shifted instantly.
I froze.
Three men stood before me.
Three Alphas.
They weren’t ordinary. I could sense it the moment their gazes fell on me. Their power was overwhelming, almost suffocating.
The first one had pure white hair, tall and regal, dressed in a deep red coat. His face was unreadable, but his eyes were cold and sharp.
The second one had short black hair, lips curved in a faint smirk, his aura dangerous yet strangely tempting.
The third stood slightly apart, his long black hair brushing his shoulders. His golden-amber eyes were fixed on a map spread before him, as if my presence meant nothing.
They looked like they were carved from the same mold.
Triplets.
Perfectly identical, yet each radiated a different kind of danger.
“Alpha Kaelrix. Alpha Candice. Alpha Versus,” the man beside me announced. “She’s here, your mate, Elinra.”
Silence fell so heavy that I could barely breathe. Three sets of eyes fixed on me. My heart hammered in my chest.
“She’s even prettier than her twin,” the white-haired one said finally, his voice low and raspy.
The one with the white hair chuckled. “What’s your name?”
I frowned. “He just said it.”
“I want to hear it from you,” he said smoothly, his gaze sliding over me in a way that made my skin crawl.
I clenched my jaw. “Apart from what he called, I don’t have another name.”
That’s when the first Alpha, the quiet one, finally lifted his head. His amber eyes met mine, and for a brief second, my heart stopped.
Something inside me, my wolf, reacted before I could.
She flinched.
“Mate?” I asked her silently.
“No,” she growled. “He’s not my mate. We were forced. I reject him.”
Her voice trembled, full of fury and fear.
“She’s got a temper,” the white-haired one murmured, smirking faintly.
The one with the black short hair grin chuckled. “We’ll see how long that lasts.”
I swallowed hard. I didn’t know if I could survive this. I needed to find a way out, even if it meant running and risking everything.
Then the quiet Alpha, Kaelrix, I guessed, spoke at last. His voice was deep, calm, and commanding.
“You know why you’re here, don’t you?”
I forced myself to look at him. “No,” I said, barely above a whisper.
He studied me for a long second before setting the map aside and walking closer. Each step he took made my pulse quicken.
“Then I’ll make it simple,” he said, his tone flat. “You have ten minutes to decide who you want to be with tonight.”
I blinked, confused. “What?”
His expression didn’t change. “You heard me. Choose one of us… or take all three.”
My stomach dropped.
I stared at him, trying to understand what he just said, hoping I’d misheard. “You can’t be serious.”
His eyes narrowed slightly. “Do I look like I’m joking?”
My knees weakened. The room spun. Their gazes burned into me, predatory, cold, expectant.
The Seer’s warning echoed in my mind. You can’t reject them. Your pack will suffer.
But how could I live like this?
With three monsters calling me mate?
My voice cracked as I whispered, “My father… he agreed to this?”
None of them answered. The silence was enough.
My father didn’t just agree.
He sold me.
He sold me to them like I was nothing more than a toy.
The world tilted, the edges of my vision blurring. My heart was pounding so fast I could hardly breathe.
And then, everything went black.
