Chapter 53

Rosalie's POV

"Wow, this house is so captivating!" I mumbled with a smile on my face as I looked around the house Cameron just brought me, and I couldn't help but wonder how many houses he gets. Goodness! Cameron is so freaking rich, even I think he's richer than I'm thinking now, and I couldn't help but smile.

"Do you like it here?" Cameron's voice brought me back to my senses, and that's when I noticed he had been staring at me with a smile on his face as well. My stubborn cheeks couldn't help but start turning red for him again before I nodded my head slowly.

"Yes, I love it so much, but what are we doing here?" I couldn't help but ask, although this house is more beautiful than Cameron's other two houses, but I still couldn't help but ask, or is it what I'm thinking?

"We're going to spend the night here," Cameron replied, cupping my face in his palm. It seemed like it was what I had been thinking; it was because of Maverick, but I still needed to find out from him if my instinct was right.

"But why? Is something happening?" I asked with a curious look on my face, and I hoped Cameron would not lie to me this time around. Immediately I finished asking that, everywhere fell silent for some minutes, with Cameron just staring at me while I was looking at him with curious eyes, waiting for his answer, until Cameron suddenly started speaking up, and I exhaled.

"You wanted to know why?" He asked with a smirk, then I nodded immediately. "Yes, I wanted to know, and please don't lie to me, because I'm really dead curious right now," I mumbled, and Cameron scoffed, moving his hand from my cheeks to my shoulders.

"I don't want to tell you before, but now that you're so curious, I'll tell you, so you'll be careful, even though I'll be protecting you," Cameron said, staring into my eyes, and I knew immediately that his reasons weren't good. "Apart from the fact that Maverick exposed my hidden place, and that could probably lead you to danger, and I can't afford for anything to happen to you again, but at the same time..."

"I think Maverick has a hidden bad motive for coming to my house; he's my best friend, and I know that immediately, so I'm protecting you, and I don't mind going any length for you," Cameron mumbled with sincerity in his eyes, and I couldn't help but be surprised, although I had also had the same feelings about that Maverick guy, so Cameron also noticed it.

"But what bad motive do you think he had? Who do you think he's here to hurt?" I asked the lingering questions in my mind and also to know if it was the same thought as mine.

"I can't tell you that yet, but you need to be staying here from now on, and I'll also find out what his motive is, but you don't have to worry, because you're safe," Cameron said, but my eyes widened instead.

"What? I'll be staying here. And you'll not be staying with me, but I can't live alone in this big house," I said with a scared look on my face.

"You'll not be staying here alone; someone I trust will be staying with you, and don't worry, we'll be staying together again after I finish taking care of everything that could put me and you in danger again, and please don't ask how I'm going to take care of it, because I can't give you the answer right now," Cameron said as if he had known that I was about to ask that, and I breathed out.

I guess I can't know that yet, no matter how I tried, so it's pointless thinking about it. I thought.

But who's that person who's going to be staying with me? Where's that person? I couldn't help but ask.

You'll know and see her tomorrow because she's just coming. Cameron replied.

She? Immediately I said that, and Cameron scoffed.

I could clearly smell jealousy in that single word.

Me? Jealous? Of course, no, I'm not. I'm just wondering who she is to you since you said she's someone you trusted. I replied, although I just didn't want to accept the fact that I was truly jealous, not knowing who the hell she was.

As I said earlier, you'll see her tomorrow and also find out why I trusted her for you as well, so enough questions for tonight, and let us make tonight fun since we're not going to be staying together for a while. Cameron said with a naughty smile.

But how are we going to make it fun because I'm sad right now? I mumbled, with Cameron still having that naughty smile on his face.

Then surely this is going to make you happy, although it'll make you miss me more. But at the same time, you'll not be sad. Cameron said naughtily.

What are you... Before I could finish my words, Cameron suddenly squeezed my ass, and a shocking gasp escaped my lips.

I'm talking about this. He replied with that sexy voice that always drives me insane.

But I'm still in pain, I can't... He didn't let me finish these words also before cutting me off again.

Don't worry, I'll make your pain go away and replace it with sweetness. I promise I'll make you enjoy it this time. Cameron said, and once again, I could feel myself dripping wet from my middle. I couldn't help but think his words and naughty smile were always enough to turn me on.

What have you done to me, Cameron? You just turned me on, even without trying much. I mumbled hornily, and a proud smile escaped Cameron's lips.

I'm glad you're feeling the same way I'm feeling. Now, let's get into business. Cameron replied with a sexy smile, while I could feel his already hard monster rubbing against me. Within a few seconds, both of us were already naked in the living room, while both of us took turns kissing each other like a hungry lion ready to devour his prey.

What the heck! Nolan said with a surprised look on his face when Gabriella said he was her prince charming, and that brought Gabriella quickly back to her senses.

What the hell are you saying, Miss? Nolan asked again.

Oh, I'm sorry... I... I was... just yapping... it's not you, I was referring to. Gabriella stammered, and that's when Nolan finally exhaled.

I have somewhere to go, so do you still want me to walk you home, or can you go by yourself? Nolan asked, and immediately, Gabriella quickly changed her expression to a fearful one again.

No, please walk me home; as you can see, I'm still scared. I don't know if he'll come back for me again. Gabriella replied, and Nolan sighed.

Okay, let's go. I'll make sure you get home safely. You don't have to be scared. Nolan said as he started walking away, and Gabriella smiled secretly before rushing to Nolan immediately.

She just couldn't explain how much her heart was beating fast in her chest right now, and that made her know that Nolan was the one for her, even though he didn't seem to be interested in her right now. But she will make him interested; he's the first person who made her heart beat this fast, so she's not letting him go, never and ever.

They kept walking side by side, with Gabriella stealing glances from him and smiling to herself, but Nolan kept his eyes on the road as if someone wasn't beside him at all.

They were a little bit far from the house when Gabriella suddenly faced the front. "Carter"
