She rest her head on Chase shoulders as she was watching the surrounding outside the running car. They entered a rusty gate, looks like abandoned and drive their way inside the towering trees. After a couple of minutes, she started to see houses similar to the houses in Manchada.

"We're here, are you ready Brige?" Maxton asked.

"I guess so."

The car stop in front of a Manor, but smaller than the Manor in the Manchada. They all went out and was accompanied by maidens in the Manor.

They are smiling at her.

"They longed to see you." Chase said.

"Why?"

"Because you are the Alpha's daughter."

She look at the people who gathered around and saw that every one of them has a smile on their faces as they look at them, particularly at her. And then, she saw a child waving at her. She smiled and wave back.

"At last! You came!" Said an old but masculine man.

"Hi popsy. Where's father?" Lennox asked.

"He's busy. Just let the people here carry your luggage and go to the training ground. The duel will start any moment from now." He stated and look at her, "I guess you are Brigette Iris Mckenzie."

"Yes sir."

"Such a beautiful child. And please don't call me sir. Just call me popsy. Like everyone does." He said and wink at her.

"Let's go Brige." Chase hold her hand and assisted her as they were heading to the training ground.

There are a lot of people, or rather say, half people, the put their bags on the table and look at her.

"Brige. Don't be scared. You can do this." Aiden exclaimed.

"Thank you. I was just a little nervous." Chase offers some water, in which she accepted.

"Can I ask who am I going to duel later? Is s-she some sort of trained guards here?"

"No. But some sort of leader." Maxton replied.

"Oh."

"He's here." Lennox said, and they all anticipated on the movement of the ground. And then, a big mighty wolf came out from the path they used with two more other wolf in its both side.

"Get ready Brige. But first, are you comfortable to what you are wearing?" Laide asked.

She look at herself. She's wearing a loosed shirt to tuck in a jogging pants and sneakers. She made her hair into a high tie and was no other weapon than herself.

"I think I'm fine."

"Good."

"S-so what am I going to do? Should I go there?"

"Yes. Walk in the middle." Maxton said and even though it feels like her whole strength are gone, she still walks into the middle and let everyone sees her maybe trembling

She look at the huge animal not too far from her and directly into its eyes. She didn't understand, but she felt a warm sensation in her body as she stares, so she removed her gaze. A moment later, the wolf was heading in its direction as it transform his self into a human.

'When am I going to transform as a wolf?', she thought.

And then, with a blink of her eyes the huge animal was now replaced by a not so old man, probably just liker her mom's age and has a cold expression.

"So you are, Brigette." He approached her.

"Y-yes sir." She answered unconfident.

"Are you ready?"

"I guess so." The man nodded.

"Settled yourself then."

The man step back a little father and is now positioned his self while Brige remain standing didn't actually know what to do.

'He look so strong'

'and confident'

'if this is just a martial arts competition, I know I can do the same'

'But why it feels like I'm going to die?'

'Do I deserve the power?'

And just as he attacked her, she doesn't dodge and directly fell into the ground. The whole crowd was shocked, and the others are cheering.

"She's preoccupied, this is not good." Liade said nervously.

"She can do this. T-this is just a duel." Aiden said, trying to give courage to all of them that she can do it. Even if deep inside, she's also afraid for her.

Brige stand and look at the man with blood running to her nose.

"You are not planning to let me beat you, am I right?" The man said.

"Who are you?" She asked.

"I am a person, who will never be happy to meet."

"But why?"

"Let's just say that, I contributed to your mother sufferings." And after heard that, her body suddenly became active. Like something awakened, something wanted to go out, and she needed to let it out because it was too heavy.

"You better die then." She said in the most disgusting way and attack him the same intensity as he attacked her. He fell on the ground but quickly rose up with a blood in his nose also.

'Now we're even.'

"She's ranging. I can feel her anger." Chase said.

They watch as the Alpha summoned his sword made of fire, and they watch Brige as she did the same, but the fire on her blade are much larger. The Alpha attacked her, but she just simply dodged his every attack like she knows it very well, sweat less. The crowd is very silent, anticipating the every move and the sound of the sword as they are clashing. The Alpha then throw a fireball at her, but she used her earth power and easily kill the ball.

"Why do I feel like she's eager to kill him?" Maxton asked.

"Probably because he said something that trigger Brige, tsk tsk, he's always like that." Lennox answered.

"She's terrifying." Tomas said.

They are now using their elements and is now throwing each other a firebomb like it's just a normal thing on a duel. Brige never get tired, and Alpha was a bit bothered as her eyes change into the golden and blue one, a very rare eye color. Little did he know that this type of eye is the destructive of them all.

"I will make u pay!" Brige shouted as she controls the ground and make an earthquake to the whole training ground that make a commotion on the crowd. She then walks confidently towards the Alpha who is saving by a water but still expressionless.

"Why are you so mad?" He asked but his surprise, she laugh hilariously.

"You hurt my mom, and you expected me to be gentle on you?" She said with a crack voice as the earthquake was started to vanished and is now replace by a little droplet of rain.

"You know what she's into, but you do nothing!" She screams but now, she scream with bitterness and grief as the rain started to pour.

"I don't know what you are talking about." He replied.

"How many times will you let down?"

"How much pain do I need to accept before you come by my side yourself and save me, father?" She asked while looking into his eyes.

"Mom said, your love is great. It afraid nothing, it conquers everyone. I used to, believed in her. I used to admire you because whenever she was talking about you, even if it's just a brief sentence, every word are full of love. But now, I hate you. I hate you because if there is anything in this earth who hurt her the most, it is you." She wipe her tears even in the pouring rain and look sharply at him.

"I decided to not just believed in her, but then I promised myself that I will get into everyone who hurts her, and you have no exception. I don't care who are. You are just a stranger to me." She said was about to walk away when she saw a running figure behind.

"Mom?"
