Chapter XXIII: MADRIGAL AND UNION'S PROMISE

As they were travelling the woods, she saw how magical to be part of their world. They pass a clip in which has a waterfall ranging and the water from below was glowing. They were running like there's no tomorrow, and so they catch up the sun from the distance and the moon beside it. Then, after a minute from the waterfall, she saw a wide open ground that has trees around it and saw different glowing light which she thought coming from necklace of the different pack. It has red, orange, yellow, blue and them as the purple.

Their pack halted in front of everyone away from them and the Alpha transform into human form. She then, saw her mom and Trinity beside the Alpha and the witches came and accompany her mom, removing something in her body that made her body collapse. She quickly climbs down on Kit's back and run towards her mom, who became pale.

"Mom?"

"Don't worry, Brige, she will be back to normal again. Let's just wait for the convergence, she will be right. By the way, happy birthday." Trinity said and smile at her while holding her weak sister.

"So, it's your birthday. Do you feel it now?" She turned around and saw the Alpha who is now turned into human and beside him is Ericson mouthed her a happy birthday.

"I cannot feel it now, but maybe soon." She replied.

"Soon." The Alpha said that brought chills to her and she didn't know why.

"Father not now. It's her birthday. Can you at least be kind to her even if just this day?" Trinity said annoyed.

"Alright." He replied and grin. The Alpha's feature is not as broad as Ericson but is very dominant.

She remove her sight from the Alpha and decided to look at the other pack whose probably just waiting for the convergence and eager to move out from each other's face in this camaraderie. She first look at the Alpha with a red stone. His face is innocent and very young, like a prince charming of every girl could dream of.

"That is the Alpha of Miraculese. Elemental power, water. His name was Ivan. Although he looks like a prince charming, his behavior says otherwise. In their pack, women are the omega. She doesn't trust woman capabilities too much." It was Hera who suddenly appeared in her side.

She stared at the Alpha of Miraculese when she caught off guard when he look at her direction particularly in her eyes meeting the green ones with deep gray orbs. She remove her gaze from the shocking staring competition and is return to Hera.

"How about those whose stone are yellow?" She asked as she look at the Alpha whose feature is look like her grandpa.

"That Alpha is the Alpha of Levistous. Elemental power, air. His name is Titus. He's kind actually but prefer to not show kindness in other pack for protection. And if you're wondering why he has a similar feature as grandpa, it is because it is his cousin." Hera answered. That answer her curiousness, she thought. She then rests her gaze to the Alpha wearing orange stone.

"The Alpha of that orange is Alpha George. He is the Alpha of Galory. Elemental power, space. He's the most ruthless Alpha. It will never surprise me anymore if after the camaraderie he again engaged his clan to a fight. He's so confident that his pack is the most powerful one." She just glanced to the alpha, afraid to cause harm.

She then look at the last stone of the pack which is the blue one but to her surprise, the Alpha didn't transform itself. She remained in a wolf form.

"How about the blue one?"

"Omy gosh." Hera giggled. "They are the Burgeon's pack. Elemental power, fire. Remember the Dusk we told you? It's them! They said they were cousins, but we didn't know their names." Hera said disappointed.

She watched on how the Wolf stared into none. She look at their blue necklace and wrinkle her forehead, like she knew she saw it before but can't remember where. And then after staring for a long time on the necklace, she felt her heart beating faster like the one she felt before leaving Chase in the.....

Her breath suddenly slowed.

Her mind was constructing.

She then look again on the blue necklace and realized it has something that reassembled what she saw on the photo of the cousin.

Right!

There is where she saw it.

Bewildered, she stared at the necklace and realized it was the necklace she was talking about she seen before. The photograph of them under the moonlight with blue pendant stone. But then, what makes her almost lost her balance and sanity is when one of them transform from wolf to human form.

"Hey Brige, are you okay?" Hera asked but she didn't answer.

"Maxton?"

"What? What are you saying?" Hera followed her gaze that is looking directly at him.

"Do you know them?" Hera asked.

"I-I saw them before." She lied. Of course, she knew them. They are the one who made her think she lost her mind by looking at their majestic feature.

Maxton then, look at her and smirk like saying 'Nice to see you Brige'. She stares at him and then look at to the rest of them.

So whose Aiden? Lennox? And

Chase?

No way. Impossible. She thought as she realized something that made her heart beat faster and again look to the people wearing the blue necklace. She was about to run when Apollo stop her.

"Where are you going Brige. The eclipse was about to start." And so she stopped. One by one, she saw them transform their selves in a wolf form and howl to the union of sun and moon . She look at the sky and saw a thing she anticipated from the very start of the year, the day she was excited about thinking that they will go to the beach and will stare at the sky as her mom will prepare something for her which is their usual routine. Usual yet anticipating. Usual, yet especial because it was her mom she was celebrating with. A drop of tear escape her eyes as she felt the longing feeling of being normal, although she knew wasn't going to happen again. She is now going to undergo the phase and will be responsible for a power she never imagine she would have and never wish to have. Another tear escape as she saw her mom transform from human into a huge majestic animal that is now coping from being weak, because of her. She Stan her mom for being strong for her, for giving her a normal life and for teaching her good things in life. She realized she shouldn't get mad to her because in the first place, she knows nothing what she has been through. She knows nothing what happen back then and how she take care of her alone even without her father. And then, tears continuously fell as she realized her mom just said to her. Her father is here, probably watching her mom suffered and do nothing. In which clan? What is his position? What is his name?

Is he okay?

And so, as the two celestial bodies totally converge, she promised herself that she will be strong, in this world of mystery, she doesn't know who is really caring and whose not. She will practice her power and will use it for good. She will make sure to be strong enough to protect her mom. To protect her heart. And those who cared.
