Nina’s POV
“Arghhh!” I shouted when the sunlight coming in through the window made me open my eyes and I saw Hazel's eyes instead of dark brooding ones staring back at me.
“What is a Luna Queen shouting as if she is scared ? You’re like the second most feared person on this giantitp island “ said Hazel , already in a chatty mood this early morning. M
“How did you know I am the most feared person , you came to this Island just yesterday!” I said yawning while trying to sit up in bed.
“Well, that’s enough time for me to socialize and hear all about the gossips in town, dude they even told me about how you and your fiancé met …quite scary and unusual “ said Hazel wiggling her eyebrows
“Why are you in my room Hazel ? Your face isn’t exactly what I hoped to see when I woke up this morning !“ I said rolling my eyes
“So it’s true , you’re friends truly aboundone you when they fall in love except me of course. I madly love your goofy and nerdy brother and I still have enough time to shower you with love too” said Hazel with a pout
“It’s a surprise to me too, I wonder where you get all this energy from. How can a person be always happy and hyped up ?” I asked Hazel with a teasing tone.
Ding Dong Ding Dong
“I will get …” said Hazel, going to open the door while I dropped my legs to the floor , yawing again.
“Oh wow , look what hubby sent you…” cooed Hazel as she opened the door and two maids came in. One was hiding a tray containing a tea set while the other tray contained French fries, some eggs , pasta , gizzard sauce , some apples and a single strand of freshly plucked red rose flower .
“Alpha Aiden asked us to bring breakfast Luna Queen Nina” chorused the two young maidens holding the tray of food.
“You can drop it on the dining table over there “ I told the staff , they obeyed my orders with a slight bow and a courtesy before leaving the room.
“Oh wow , all hail our Luna Queen!” Said Hazel clapping her hands and doing a mock bow.
“I don’t have your time Hazel, I am famished and need to eat. Barely had any time to sleep last night “ I said with a small smile playing on my lips when the memories of I and Aiden last night flashes in my brain.
“Oh , I know that look …you naughty girl ! I have a feeling that you and Aiden will soon give us another set of twins or triplets if we don't slow down …so much heat Phew !"said Hazel fanning herself which made me laugh out loud, my best friend has a crazy big mouth.
I stood up from the bed and tried to walk towards the small dinning which was at the extreme end of the living room when I fell to the ground.
“Oh shit !Are you okay ?” Asked Hazel sounding really worried and I nodded my head while looking away shyly
“I’m good , just a little bit sore “ I said and she gave me a wink before helping me off
“I can walk on my own, I am not cripple so let go …” I whispered to Hazel who was grabbing onto my body.
“Of course…” she said, rolling her eyes and going to sit at the dining table . I turned around to check myself in the mirror. I am wearing one of Aiden’s blue oversized t-shirts which was big on me but not big enough to cover my butt cheeks if I bent down. I sighed with great satisfaction as I saw the mark on my neck , it’s still fresh but it has turned into a tattoo .
The tattoo wasn’t as smooth as the first one because this is my second time being marked , but I don’t mind and I love it! My fiancée ,babies and family are what is important to me and not some drawing on my neck.I walk towards the dinning table to see that Hazel has eaten half of the pasta.
“Hey, that belongs to me. Ask the kitchen for food if your hungry “ I teased before sitting down and pouring myself a cup of Italian tea that seems to work better than coffee.
“What are you doing here by the way ? Aiden doesn’t allow anyone to come to his room “ I said wondering what time Aiden woke up, I must have been sleeping so deeply that I didn’t notice his movements.
“Aiden is feeding Alexander and Annabelle and he asked to me to come look for your advice for the wedding planning ….I heard that it’s going to be a beach wedding and I approve , this Island is so beautiful. Eros and I took a late night walk and you should try having some lovey dovey time in the garden , it feels magical“ whispered Hazel dreamily and she is right.
I’m so grateful for Aiden, he makes motherhood so much easier for me.As much as I love my babies , I’m just too sore to take care of two humans first thing in the morning. I want to be pampered too , it’s a blessing that my brooding King charming is so intentional.
I remember when Aiden celebrated my birthday in the garden, it was a memory I won’t forget . I also remember sneaking up on Scarlet and Connor making out.
“Oh shit , is it safe for you guys to walk out in the night after everything that happened ?” I asked really concerned
“Oh Nina, we aren’t that week besides everything is back to normal in the entire Island …Alpha Aiden is an efficient leader “ said Hazel
“Did you just compliment my fiancée ?” I asked and she made a face ,trying her best not to smile
“Well…I guess he has grown on me , I have to be civil with him if I want to keep escaping to this Island anytime I need a vacation from real life “ she said and I hugged her from across the table.
“Thank you Hazel” I whispered into her ears.
Ding Dong Ding Dong
“Who is that again ?” I asked, knowing that it’s not Aiden because I could pick Aiden’s scent easily. Besides, Aiden will just open the room if he was the one because this is his room.
“Excuse me , let me get the door …” I said to Hazel but she was already up
“It will be an honour for me to help you with your royal highness…” teased Hazel while laughing out as she opened the door and we all looked at the person that came in with great shock , we couldn’t hide it.
“Holy shit!”
“What the freak did you do that for ?!”
