Alpha Aiden’s POV
Eros whispered something into Hazel’s ears because they are the two holding the babies and all of a sudden the calm and sleeping twins started crying hysterically.
“What the fuck are you doing to my babie?! “ I barked at them when I heard the sounds of Alexander and Annabel’s wails. It’s so obvious that this one crazy ass lovebird did something to them.
“Please give them back to me this instant “ said Nina trying to collect the babies back from ERos and his girlfriend but Eros stopped her.
“I need you to trust me Nina, please “ he said and Nina shakes her head sideways , from left to right.
“No, I don’t trust you anyone when it comes to my children! Tell me what the fuck is going on and what you will get by frightening the little babies “ said Nina going to a protective mother mood.
“Hey! Keep it up there, I know that you guys always attract drama wherever you go but I am trying to think of more creative ways to end your lives! Goodness, I hate babies and that’s one thing Aiden and I have in common , make them keep quiet if I will !” Says Kim with so much disgust written on her face, her hands still tightly tied around her gun.
“What the fuck man, you told me that I should trust you and you went ahead to create more chaos than the one we are already in. I told you all not to do anything until we know where Scarlett is and until we know that she is safe '' I said trying my best to sound calm but at this moment, I can’t even lie to myself. I am not calm at all and my heart is filled with so much boiling rage and anger , Beta Kim is going to regret her existence when I get a hold of her.
“Fine, the kids are already crying so I can just go ahead and tell you the reason I made them cry” said Eros still holding into a crying Alexander
“Oh so ,the torture was intentional?” I said stepping forward towards him
“Uhmmm, it wasn’t a torture but there is this poison that only the vampires have. It makes humans and all kind of creatures lose a particular kind of memory and the spell can only be broken when the affected victims hears the cry of a child …” said Eros with a smug look on his face
“So , you’re telling me the more the twins cry , the faster the spell that was cast on my soldiers will be broken and they will remember me as their Alpha King ?“ I asked because it wasn’t making so much sense
“Yes and I think it’s already working, it’s a good thing that they are twins and not just a baby …works faster “ said Hazel which made Nina and I turn around and look around my men, the soldiers of the Silvermoon Pack slowly remaining back to their senses. Most of them were looking dazed, some looked confused and quite a few were still looking dumb.
“Ahhhhh, it worked Aiden but it still hurts my heart that the baby's tears have to be used as sacrifice “ said Nina with a mixed expression on her face.
“At Least we have now established the fact that Kim is working with a Vampire as an alley, no wonder the person readily gave her the spell. Those species will do anything to get rid of werewolves…” I hissed
“Uhmm, I’m still here and thanks to me , this mess is becoming less complicated “ said Eros, the proud smug now glued to his face
“What are you doing to the kids to make them cry?” I asked curiously. I couldn’t believe that my babies, who are just 3 months old, will be the ones to save me and my family from Kim’s shit. It is such a crazy ass plot twist.
“Just a harmless pinch in some sensitive places “ answered Eros
“I promise to massage and get them as much toy as I can after this is all done” said Hazel with an apologetic look
“Fine” I said sighing , trying to block the shrieking and crying sounds of my babies. A deep memory came flashing back in my head when I remembered the moment the spell waa taken away from me too. I was in the labour room and. Nina’s memory came flooding back when the twins started crying , immediately after they were given birth. No wonder , I could remember Nina all of a sudden . I used to hate children and had no business with them but look at those savings the day.
“Wait, hold up ! What the fuck is happening?” Asked Kim standing up from my throne when she noticed that her plans were falling apart.
“I command you all to respect me as the Alpha King of the Silvermoon Pack !” I commanded with an authoritative groan.
“Yes, Alpha King Aiden!” They answered and saluted at the same time
“What is going on Alpha Aiden ?”asked one of the elders of the Silvermoon Pack
“I want you all to ignore any command Beta Kim Or Beta Connor has given you , protect my family and children. Nothing should happen to them and if I catch anyone still pointing his or her gun towards my family, the person’s brains will be bruised within seconds “ I replied back
“Yes Sir ! Order received !” Said the elder of the Silvermoon Pack as all of them stood at ease and on alert , I raised my head and used my senses to make sure that no gun was pointed towards my family.
“Hazel and Eros, can you please make Alexander and Annabelle to stop crying ?” I asked and they nodded their heads. Nina gently carried Alexander from Eros and started petting his head while echoing some reassuring words to him, Hazel did the same to Annabel whose voice is not as loud as her twin brother’s voice.
“No! NO! No! This can’t be happening! Damn it!” Hissed Beta Kim , this is the first time she looked quite frightened today . I saw and sensed her fear before she tried to mask it.
“The game is over and Joke on you Beta Kim, I don’t have time for chit chats with you so I will go straight to the pond Huh. Where is my sister ?” I asked pointing two of my guns at her , ready to shoot while I can see that some or my men have my back.
“Damn it, I command you to shoot at his family right away !” Shouted Beta Kim like a mad person but no one answered her, infact one of my soldiers wanted to shoot her but I told him to stop. I need to find Scarlett before finally ending this game.
“Shit!” Beta Kim cursed as she tried to run but several of my ruthless soldiers were surrounding her and she of all people knows that she can’t stand a chance against them.
“Where is Scarlet ?” I asked while torturing Beta Kim’s wolf spirit with my Alpha Powers till she fell to the ground and started vomiting out blood because of the pain. She still didn’t shed a tear or say a word. I must admit it , Kim is a strong and stubborn lady. Too bad that all that will go to waste since she dared cross paths with me.
“What makes you think that I am going to let her go free? You have to make an oath that you won’t kill me” she said with determination while spitting out blood and cleaning the ones coming out of her nose.
