Chapter One Hundred And Five
Nina’s POV
”I’m getting married!” I shouted and hugged Hazel immediately when I saw her entering my room.
“Holy shit Nina!” Screamed Hazel hugging me back and dropping the shopping bags with the ‘kiddies logo’ to the ground.
“Sshhhs , stop cursing, the kids are around” I said while Hazel was still hugging her tightly, it felt great saying it out loud to another person.
“The twins are sleeping and you scared the hell out of me. How did you go from being a naive innocent virgin, to a your enemies mate , to a heartbroken baby mama , a mother of twins, a vampire hybrid and now you are suddenly getting married ?! It’s crazy , you sure don’t follow the natural path of things “ said Hazel , our hands still wrapped around each other.
“What matters most is that I found peace, love and family” I whispered back with a dreamy voice.I am already picturing how our family portrait is going to look like.
“Well, little miss fiancée can you please release your hands before you choke me to death” said Hazel frantically gasping for air.
“Stop being dramatic Hazel” I said, unwrapping my hands from around her waist as she stepped back to give me a long look.
“I hope you’re not pregnant again Nina” she said , her voice sounding really serious
“Hazel! Why will you assume something like that!“ I shouted before closing my mouth immediately when I remembered the stress I had to go through to put these twins to sleep.
“Well, you have been glowing since you gave birth but you’re literally glowing more …it feels like the sun in this room and it only means one thing…” said Hazel winking at me
“Hazel , stop being naughty !” I said blushing already knowing where her thoughts are
“Come on, it’s either you’re in love or you’re getting good sex” she said, crossing her arms and giving me the ‘I know too well’ look.
“Well, I’m getting both….that should count for something right?” I said blushing and trying hard not to let my brain start thinking of our spicy moments with Aiden.
“Don’t tell me you’re being delusional and already thinking that Aiden will marry you because he gave you good sex?I understand that your emotions and hormones are all over the place but I can’t bare to see you heartbroken “ said Hazel looking at me with so much worry in her beautiful Hazel eyes
“You’re such a doll and I love you for caring about me but Aiden loves me too and he asked me to marry him , we confessed our feelings to each other and we are both ready to take the step and start our cute family of four “ I said with so much excitement while clasping my hands
“Those romance books of yours have messed with your brain, I can literally see starts dancing on your head Mama “ said Hazel rolling her eyes
“Aiden has been amazing , he is a changed guy and he takes care of me and the children. I would like my children to also grow up with their real father , it’s fate “ I said with so much conviction that made Hazel raise her hands in surrender which made her boho bangles make faint jiggling sounds.
“Fine, can I see the ring ? That arrogant man should better get you a giant diamond” she said , her eyes lifting up as she kept staring at my hands which I quickly hid behind my back.

Shit, how did I get so carried away that I forgot that a man is supposed to propose to me with an engagement ring.
“What are you hiding Nina?” Asked Hazel curiously
“Nothing” I said, biting my lips and looking everywhere but Hazel's eyes. I don’t mind the fact that Aiden didn’t get any engagement ring, our relationship is unique and different. What matters most is that we both love and cherish each other.
“That’s not nothing and your face looks suspicious “ said Hazel trying to go around me till she dragged my hands, her eyes checking through my fingers.
“Where is the ring ? Is it so expensive and heavy that you can’t wear it all the time?” Questions Hazel curiously
“No, that’s not it” I said with a low tone
“If it’s a secret, can I atleast see the pictures as the maid of honour?” Hazel insisted. I know that she's stubborn and won’t let me be till she gets her answers. I thought of getting an excuse or lying to her but Hazel and I have come a long way, no need for secrets.
“Uhmm, Aiden didn’t give me a ring” I stammered slowly
“What the fuck?” Cursed Hazel squinting her nose as if she didn’t hear what I said clearly.
“You heard me but I am very sure and convinced that he loves me. We don’t need a piece of jewellery to validate our feelings and intentions' ' I said trying to explain but she lifts her middle finger and shuts me up.
“Shsssss, Dude. I love you and I want to marry you because you’re an amazing woman and I think you deserve the world so a little diamond ring shouldn’t be a problem for me to show you that my intentions are real” said Hazel loudly and fast
“Hazel, calm down “ I said , Hazel looks like an angry mother bear ready to pounce on someone.
“Calm down ? I just proposed to you right now but are my words valid ? No! I need to show you how much I mean and give you the damn ring. That’s commitment, love without action is just delusional ! I knew that Aiden’s sex game will mess with your head , my poor Nina” Hazel said hugging me and patting my hair
“Hey, he loves me and I love him. Aiden is not your regular guy and he is not good with emotions and stuff…” I tried to explain but I suddenly had no words left to say, I had no more excuses to give on behalf of my fiancé.
“He is not a regular guy and that’s why I expect him to get you a damn giant diamond ring! I need to have a word with that dude , maybe he has overstayed his welcome and his presence is not making you think straight” said Hazel looking at me a pitiful look
“Hazel can you please stop “ I whispered, I was fine with my simple engagement but then she is suddenly making me feel all guilty and dumb. Can’t a woman get proposed to without a ring?” I thought and my spirit wolf shook her head which made me feel a lot worse.
“Tell me,where did he propose to you? Did he get on his knees and were roses littered around and fireworks?” Asked Hazel
I opened my mouth to answer but I closed it when I remembered that Aiden proposed to me in the bed after having sex.
“Oh my poor naive Nina. Even after two kids you’re still so innocent. I need to have a good talk with this Aiden guy as your maid or go out “ said Hazel, sounding like a protective elder brother.
“I didn’t even ask you to be my maid of honor, “ I said with a little chuckle hoping it would erase the tense atmosphere.
“Darling, you don’t have to ask . I am your maid of honour by default and it’s my duty to make sure that your groom does this right because you seem to be deeply in love with him despite my epistle ….your face shows your emotions Nina” said Hazel patting me on the back gently.
“Can you please be happy for me without complaining? It’s my relationship with my fiancé. We are capable of handling our love affairs without a third party and can you please stop calling him names, he will be my husband and I hope you get along with him for my sake because I love you both” I said, almost choking while wiping the lone tear on my left cheek.
“Alright, what is the wedding theme ? What kind of wedding gowns do you have in mind ? I wish Alexander and Annabelle are old enough to be the ring bearers “ Hazel said standing up and pacing up her down. Her mood completely changed to a chatty and excited one, that’s the energy I need right now.
“Something simple and for my closest family members only “ I said with a smile
“Uhmm, I hope you know that you’re going to marry a powerful and influential Alpha King. You should discuss the amount of guest with your fiancé” she said while stressing the last word
“Yeah, you’re right. We don’t have a wedding date yet but like I said , I want something simple and magical” I whispered
“It’s always the wealthy girls that want it simple. As for me, I want it big and dramatic! Especially thee diamond on my engagement ring “ said Hazel
“Hahhhaha , I will give Eros a heads up sister-in-law “ I said and that made her blush.
“Leave the planning to me ! I got you girl ! I am already have ideas …a cathedral wedding , a beach wedding, a destination wedding ….oh goodness, we need a colour theme and the dance rehearsals should start as soon as possible !” Said Hazel going into a whole crazy ass planning mood.
“Calm down girl” I said laughing
“You know I don’t calm down when parties or music is involved so better tell me when you get a date as soon as possible “she said winking
“Uhmmm, maybe we will decide on a date when we get back from Italy “ I said
“Italy?” Asked Hazel looking all confused
“Yes, that’s where Aiden’s Pack, family and Residential home is. He wants to Introduce I and the kids to his family and Pack” I answered
“Why? They can come here. This big ass mansion should contain all of them “ said Hazel clearly not liking the idea
“Hey, he has been here with me and by my side for the past three months. It’s only fair I go to Italy on a whole different circumstances and status besides I want my children to know about their home and roots'' I answered and she nodded her head agreeing with me before her eyes sparkled with amusement
“Wait, so you are going to meet that bitch Kim?” Asked Hazel putting her hands on her waist
“Uhmm, she wouldn’t do anything or harm my kids. I am sure that Aiden will protect us” I said
“Oh wow, that crazy bitch almost killed you and she was making a foolish scene when you were in the labour room back at the hospital.
“Thank you for slapping her for me” I said, feeling all pleased at the thoughts of Kim’s red face.
“I will start going to gym and practice harder “ said Hazel
“For what? “ I asked , because her statement came out of the blue
“To beat her ass up if she tries anything silly” she said while cracking her knuckles
“Are you coming to Italy with us ?” I asked and she gave me a sly smile
“As the maid of honor, your sister in-law, the godmother of your kids,and it will be an excuse for me to go to Italy without my mothers throwing a fist” said Hazel with a big grin on her face.
“But…” I tried to speak but Hazel beat me to it as she continued talking
“Plus you have twins , you will need an extra hand and Dude , I will protect you all against that witch Kim because I don’t trust you to do shit. You’re still fragile and too good for your own good. I will start packing right away” she said and I only shook my head laughing
“I can’t say no to you, can I ?” I asked and we both burst out laughing
“I love you too Mama bear and congratulations on your engagement. I wish you nothing but happily ever after” she said hugging me and we were both sniffing and trying to stop the tears from flowing. Hazel is not just a friend, I consider Hazel my sister.
“Where is Aiden by the way? Haven’t seen him since yesterday night”
