Zara's POV

Everything was like a dream come true to me, I never thought this day would come when Keith and I would have a Union. In a few minutes, from now on, Keith will be crowned the king of beasts, the alpha king and finally, we all could live together. Having vampires, witches, werewolves, and the like in a hall coming in and out of the territory freely was something we dreamed of but not something we think will come to reality.

On one side of the room, the omega were dressing me while on the other side, I could see that they were grooming Keith but I could notice that his hands were trembling. I smiled the past months that I have lived with him, I understand that he had his fears behind that tough, ruthless Alpha that everyone saw as heartless as that soft spot and had his fear.

And when that fears are crippling in, his hand always trembled, "Alpha, are you alright?" I asked, and he huffed.

"I think so..." He said whew. I looked at the omega who wanted to help him put his coronation wear.

"Let me help you with that, you can leave," I told the omega, grabbing the coronation robe.

My eyes followed them as they walked out of the room before I grabbed the coronation robe and slipped it into his hand he smiled, "I like it when you style me and I wish it could be like this always," he said the last part almost like a whispered and his voice laced with pain.

"I am not going anywhere, this enemy daughter of yours, is here to stay beside you. You, my king, you are going to be king not just to the beasts but to me as well. You are a good wolf and will make a good king," I stress the last part.

He grabbed my face, and pressed his lips on my forehead, "Only if you promised to always be by my side,"

"Where will I go? Have you forgotten, that I told you, that even if you pushed me away a thousand times, I would keep coming back, even if you rejected me, you are still the ruthless alpha that I love, and even if you hurt me. I will stay because..." He shakes his head as his tears welled up his eyes.

"I will never do that to you, I will keep proving myself to you because you and Kiera. You two are the only thing that I have, and I don't know what I did to deserve you, because I know deep down in my heart, I don't deserve anything..."

"You deserve every good thing, you are not as bad as you think you are. One thing is to make mistakes and the other thing is to admit that you are wrong, did you know all those times I called down evil on you and I always said you are capable of everything bad and when I told alpha Harris that you were the one that sends that lycan after me and that night that I have taunt you with my supposed ghost and you said you didn't send anyone after me, I still didn't believe but Harris said that it's not you, that you will never deny anything that you did, even if it's something outrageous, that is one quality of a good king, they will always stand by their words and hold up to their misdeeds,"

"He said so?" Keith asked, and I smiled nodding to him before adjusting his hair when I took a step back to look at him, I curved my lips into a lopsided grin, before pecking his forehead, "I think you are good to go, my handsome ruthless alpha,"

I said and he smirked before he pulled me into a hug, and whispered, "I love you,"

I watched as Keith walked out of the room with grace and confidence, he was no longer having that fear. My eyes moved to his hand, they weren't trembling like earlier. The whole place was filled with guests, from those holding high-ranking positions in all the different kingdoms, that are coming together to the lowest rank.

And to think the priest that would crown Keith is a vampire, something that had never happened before, a vampire priest crowning a werewolf as a king of beasts, the alpha king, I wondered if it would continue like this forever but then I pushed that fear off my head, we are building a new world filled with love and I am sure, everything will be perfect at last.

The ceremony was held under the full moon. This was no ordinary night. It was the night of the coronation, a night that had been written in the stars for decades, a night that was all a mirage and now a reality, a night where a werewolf would be crowned the King of Beasts. The last alpha king.

I stood at the extreme watching Keith stand in front of the crowd gathered at the open field, watching the different shifters all under one Pack having a cheerful conversation, and their faces covered with nice smiles.

The air was thick with anticipation, yet no tension or animosity was coming from any angle. Shifters are, normally known as rivals in the relentless cycle of predator and prey, yet they stand side by side, united by a common purpose tonight.

My gaze tilted back to where Keith was kneeling, he was a formidable figure, a ruthless alpha yet he was just, how both qualities worked hand-in-hand with him was something I couldn't tell. Keith was a man who commanded respect and fear in equal measure. His body was a blend of human and wolf, His eyes, glowing with a fierce expression, surveyed the gathering with a mixture of pride and humility.

Watching him made me fall in love with him more, I know it was a forbidding love at the beginning but who am I not to love the one male that hates and loves me at the same time?

Life had never been easy for Keith as well, so I forgive him, he had a fair share of pain as I do. Keith's journey to this moment had been long and arduous. He had been born of both worlds, human and beast, yet belonged fully to neither. For years, he was lost; blind with lies and pain, he had searched for peace and, his purpose. He had fought countless battles, against both man, monster, foe, friends, and family and he had emerged victorious, though not unscathed. Once he had died and I had brought him back to life, the goddess was fair enough to bless me with the gift of life and death.

I hope this gift will be more of a blessing than a curse.

The vampire priest's voice filled the air suddenly as he crowned Keith. “Tonight, under the light of the full moon, we gather to crown a new king. A king not born of blood or conquest but of wisdom, courage, honor, and anointed by the goddess. A king who will protect all of us, who will lead us into a new era of peace and prosperity...”

The entire place was silent just the priest's voice that could be heard. “Do you, alpha Keith Jayson of the silver Moon Pack accept the mantle of King of Beasts, the alpha king? Do you vow to protect these shifters, to guard the balance of life and death, to lead with wisdom and courage, and to uphold the laws of nature?”

Keith bowed his head, his voice a low, rumbling growl that howled through the clearing. “I do.”

After announcing Keith as the Alpha king, he places the crown on his head and presents it to the crowd.

The moment the crown touched his head, Keith howled and they all went on their knees and bowed before him before they howled to the moon as well, Keith gestured for me to come closer.

My steps were counting just as my heart was beating, he didn't tell me, anything about the union and I know the other day, he said we made it.

When I finally stood in front of him, Keith brought a ring, "Will you be my Luna and the Luna Queen?" He asked without hesitation I replied.

"Yes, I will..." He turned his attention to the priest and there my diamond crown was brought forth, Keith grabbed it and placed it on my head.

"I present to you, my Luna and the queen," Keith announced to the crowd, I don't know if it was right for Keith to crown me but no one objected to it, and they now to me as well.

"All hail the king and queen..." The vampire priest declares, and my eyes move to Keith.

"I love you..." I murmured, he smirked pressing a soft kiss on my head.

"I love you a little more than you do."
