Chapter 101 Catching Adultery

Chapter 101 Catching Adultery

Someone shouted, "That's enough, how long are you two going to kiss?" Only then did Francis let go of Aurora. Aurora gazed at him with longing in her eyes, and even the men nearby felt their hearts flutter. But Francis's expression remained completely unmoved. "Task completed." His meaning was clear - you should go now.

Aurora stood up with a pale face, and twisted her ankle as she walked back to her seat. Alex reached out to steady her and asked with concern, "Are you okay?"

Aurora shook her head and forced a smile. "I'm fine, let's keep playing."

After a few more rounds, someone accidentally drew Aurora and asked her to confess her feelings to a man present. Aurora looked at Francis, seeming to consider what to say, but seeing his expression completely unchanged as he picked up his glass and put it down again, she walked over to Alex as if to spite him. She put her arms around his neck and said, "Alex, if you had pursued me back then, I definitely would have chosen you over Francis." Her voice was just loud enough for everyone to hear. After speaking, she turned her head to glance at Francis. Francis's eyelid twitched, and Aurora finally felt a bit satisfied. She kissed Alex on the cheek.

Some people cheered and clapped, and a few young guys whistled. Most people there knew that Francis and Aurora used to be a couple, and those who didn't know before had been filled in by now. Francis held a high position in this circle, so people didn't dare offend him openly, but this kind of romantic drama was entertaining to watch.

Alex knew she was just using him, but he couldn't help his racing heart. If only what she said were true. He pushed Aurora away with a helpless expression. "We're all friends, what are you talking nonsense for?"

......

When the game started on Francis's side, Jennifer was on the phone with Mia. Mia's voice sounded exhausted. She said, "Jennifer, I want you to come with me somewhere. I want to confirm one last time - if he still hasn't changed, then I can make up my mind to leave him."

Jennifer immediately knew it was about Aaron cheating again and quickly comforted her. "Mia, where are you? I'll come to you right away. Whatever you do, I'll support you." It just so happened that Francis had sent her a message saying he had business to attend to tonight, so she didn't need to have dinner with him.

As soon as Mia saw Jennifer, she couldn't help crying. "Jennifer, do you think all men are this unfaithful? We've only been married a year and he's already tired of me! That Daphne - besides being a few years younger than me, what's so great about her?"

Jennifer hugged her and wiped her tears. "Mia, it's not that you're not good enough, it's that Aaron doesn't deserve you. Don't cry anymore, your eyes will get swollen, and you won't look pretty."

"Okay!" Mia took the tissue and dried her tears, then touched up her makeup in her compact mirror. She wanted to appear beautiful in front of Aaron and Daphne - she couldn't let that bitch Daphne outshine her.

When the private room door opened, everyone thought it was a server bringing drinks. But when the door opened, there stood two beautiful women with completely different styles. The person who opened the door called out, "Who ordered women?"

Mia pushed past him aggressively and barged in, with Jennifer following close behind. Aaron was sitting in a corner kissing Daphne - he was just an unimportant peripheral figure at this gathering. When he noticed something was wrong and looked up, he was met with Mia's slap. After slapping him, Mia hit Daphne, who was sitting on his lap, a few times, saying through gritted teeth, "Aaron, a snake will always be a snake. I'm telling you, we're done!" Because of Daphne, they'd fought several times recently. Aaron promised her every time he wouldn't do it again, but every time he disappointed her. She'd had enough!

Aaron came to his senses and realized he'd been hit in front of all these people. His eyes turned red with anger. He shouted and stood up, grabbing Mia's wrist. "Mia, if you want to go crazy, go home. Hitting me in front of all these people - How dare you humiliate me like this? You really think I won't hit you back?" As he spoke, he actually raised his hand to hit Mia.

Jennifer suddenly rushed over and hugged Mia. Aaron's hand landed on Jennifer's shoulder. The force wasn't light. Jennifer groaned and looked across with tears in her eyes. She wasn't crying just from the pain, but also because she saw Aurora hiding behind Francis. So his so-called business was related to her again. But she remembered she was here to help Mia catch Aaron cheating. She turned and glared at Aaron. "Aaron, you call yourself a man? When you married Mia, you swore you'd only love her. You said it so nicely. Now you've cheated multiple times, she forgave you but you still haven't learned your lesson, and you want to hit her?" She hated Aaron for cheating, and she hated Francis for being entangled with Aurora.

Aaron, having hit the wrong person, frowned a bit awkwardly. "Jennifer, this is between my wife and me, stay out of this." He glanced at Francis across from him - Jennifer was Francis's woman after all, so he had to show some respect.

Francis pulled Aurora's hands away and walked over to pull Jennifer into his arms. He blew gently on her reddened shoulder with some concern and asked, "Does it hurt?"

Jennifer had been too angry to feel much pain in her shoulder, but his concern actually reminded her of it. Jennifer blinked rapidly to hold back tears and said with a choked voice, "A little."

Francis's expression darkened. He glanced at Aaron and said, "Aaron, I don't care about your family business. But you hit my woman, so today you need to give me an explanation." He didn't have much of an impression of Aaron, nor did he care which woman he brought out to play.

Aaron reluctantly lowered his head to apologize. "Jennifer, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to."

Jennifer looked at him with some disgust and turned her head away. At a look from Francis, Aaron quickly poured a glass of wine with an ingratiating smile on his face. "Jennifer, what happened today was my fault. I wronged Mia, I'm completely in the wrong. Let me toast you - if you're still not satisfied, hit me back. Hit me ten times if you want."

Jennifer said with distaste, "Hitting you would hurt my hand."

Mia laughed coldly. "It's okay, I don't mind if my hand hurts. I'll hit him back for you." With that, she kicked and beat Aaron. Aaron cried out in pain and dodged, not daring to fight back at all. Daphne cowered to the side, trembling as she watched. She couldn't help looking at Francis holding Jennifer. So Jennifer had such powerful backing - how enviable. She had thought that hooking up with Aaron would give her a good life, but she didn't expect Aaron could only take a beating obediently in front of these people.

Only when Mia was tired did she stop. Aaron, having lost face in front of so many people, quickly slipped away.
