CHAPTER TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY-ONE
CHAPTER TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY-ONE
The coronation ritual wasn't anything complicated or long-lasting.
I simply bound my life to theirs in the way that I could share my energy with them and made verbal paths to love and respect their Prince.
Then I gave my blood and that was it.
But the party afterward?
The wildest thing I've ever seen.
It was my first time in hell and although the pits for punishment looked like a horrible scene in the dark distance, this part of it was a perfect view.
I felt warm, truly warm, for the first time in a while, and I felt at home.
“Someone's enjoying herself,” my Kaiden came from my back, wrapping a hand around me.
I was stuck with juice for the rest of my pregnancy; one month of the torture left,, so I had one in my hand when he hugged me suddenl,y, and I mistakenly dropped it.
To my shock, the ground automatically swallowed it.
“Was I drinking something imaginative? Was I..”
“No baby, it's juice. But my floors are self-cleaning. I try to make life for my people easier except for when they're training so you will be shocked a lot when you stay longer here,” he informed me drowsily.
“Are you drunk? Kaiden!” I exclaimed with giggles
I'd not seen him so carefree, relaxed, and having fun in quite a while, both in human and demon form.
“Just a little bit, my Soul,” he replied, standing properly behind me.
As usual, since my tummy got bigger, he placed his hands around my stomach, helping me carry the baby while I relaxed on his chest.
I was a little bit a part of his stress these last month and a half because, let me tell you, babes, don't get pregnant except you really have to!
I've been emotionally, physically, and mentally messed up. Yes, this is a demon pregnancy but I doubt it's easier anywhere else.
So since Kaiden was responsible for this, I didn't disturb anyone else but him.
So very often, he'd disappear and hand over to Alaric because it takes more energy to be in that form on earth and he didn't want to take energy from me except he was practically about to pass out. Jokes on him because I was giving it to the Fallen but only in small doses.
He was also running around for the coronation, the secret project he was working on that he finally revealed to me this.
It was the most beautiful nursery and I couldn't stop crying at all the beautiful paintings he'd done for over ten minutes.
Alaric nearly cried from frustration but when the emotions rains, it pours okay?
I finally switched back to happy mode when he chased everyone away and began singing for me.
It's safe to say I've found the solution to my problems, which was a good idea because it kept getting worse and my stomach kept getting bigger.
The only part I liked about all of this was the sex. We have it every day. Many times.
If he wasn't a supernatural, he'd be in the hospital right now, unable to stand.
But thankfully, he enjoyed it as much as I did and people literally walked out of rooms we were in together because the chemistry was pouring out in droves from us.
“I love you,” he whispered, breaking into my thoughts.
“I love you too,” I replied automatically.
It wasn't something I'd ever thought I would experience but I swear with everything in me that I love him and there was no fear in my heart about it.
“Are you guys staying here for a while?” I heard Kora's voice, raised a bit so we could hear above the loud crowd enjoying the music and wild party.
There was literally an orgy happening somewhere around here.
I turned to see her approaching us.
“Yea, I don't think Aria is going to feel good staying down here for too long,” Kaiden replied, his tail swishing back and forth.
If I wanted this small display to get erotic quick, I'll just grab it and rub it.
Like a genie, he'll haul me off to his bedroom and make me cum.
But we've done that three times since they placed this crown on my head so I refused the temptation.
“You can never tell. Your soulmate is a huge bag of surprises, a Pandora box that's never empty,” Kora joked but the truth hit me like a brick.
Nothing about my life was ever normal.
“I know but the process of finding out this place isn't good for you is a tough one. I'll rather believe it's bad instead of excavating her lung when it's filled with dark matter,” he replied.
“Why do you ask though?” I asked her.
“I want to go back up but I wanted to move out,” she said absentmindedly.
“Move out?” I gasped, “why? What's wrong?”
“You are happy now, aren't you? At least I know you've made my brother the happiest demon in existence.”
“Yes, we're very happy, aren't you?”
“I don't think I am satisfied with my level of happiness. I've never explored the earth like my fellow Morningstars so I have decided to go on a world tour of sorts. And who knows, maybe I'll find someone rather than hanging around my brother's soulmate with intense lustful thoughts,” she finished, earning her an angry growl from Kaiden. “Relaxxx, I'm leaving,” she snapped but with a small smile.
“You know we're always going to be your home tight?” I asked her, touching her shoulder comfortingly.
“Yes sister. I'll keep in touch for sure,” she finished.
She reached out to hug me and I had to elbow Kaiden before he let me go.
We hugged and if I wasn't going crazy, I could swear she dropped a tear.
“The wedding isn't too far off right?” She asked in the crook of my neck.
“Once the baby begins to walk, you have to come back to plan it. I've told Alaric, I'm not doing all that,” I told her, although she'll have to battle with Kiara for all of that. The Fallen had become my right hand in everything, even demon matters.
But one thing was constant every day I woke up.
I was genuinely happy and it wasn't a short term thing, I was genuinely happy.
Bar the Braxton kicks and the fact that this baby wants to see how far they can push my limit.
But our future is bright and I can't wait to enjoy the journey towards it.
