Riona screamed loudly as she stumbled out of the underground chambers and ran in the hallways. Although she didn’t know anywhere in the mansion, surprisingly she had no issue getting to her bedroom. It was as if the fear in her was subconsciously showing the way and it could be a result of what she had planned to do next anyways.
All the maids had narrowly escaped from her path of terror and rage all based on the fact that their boss was going to call for some heads rolling if anyone of them so happened to have bump into her and cause some injury on her.
They didn’t know what just happened but they sure didn’t want to get involved in it.
Mrs Selena had barely gotten out of Riona’s room where she saw the poor girl run into the room back with a loud bang. She was frightened out of her skin a bit, but she was able to call down. She could see that Riona hadn’t meant to terrify her, the poor thing looked terrified herself.
“Dear God, it hasn’t even been up to a day since they got married. Why is Black scaring her already?” She rolled her eyes then continued “And just when I thought that things might actually last a week…before they divorce.” Mrs Selena muttered as she straightened her gown, before pushing the door open but what she saw next stunned her.
“What are you looking for?” She said as she saw Riona throwing away clothes from the drawer making the whole room look like a mess.
“Very funny story actually, first I came in here with the intention to pack my clothes and leave and then realized that I didn’t get clothes…because I just had a cloth on…so I decided to leave with my phone and the 1 cloth that I had on, but I can’t seem to find it anywhere among the blasted rich and expensive clothes.
What is this? This looks like a transparent gown, but it costs 50,000$. How ridiculous is this?” Riona said raising a very skimpy wear that had no apparent color as it was too light and a see through.
“Honey…I think you are having a panic attack... take a breath and just calm down. I know my son must have scared you off with the extravagant shopping trips” she muttered confused to see Riona this scared.
“The shopping trips he must have planned all over the world but that doesn’t mean you should just take off, there is something called CO-MM-U-NI-CA-TION. Maybe tell him that is too much or I don’t know, just work it out.” Mrs Selena said taking the cloth from Riona and dropping it back where she had pulled it from.
“What? Oh, we are so not on the same page here. Dagger…my husband..she choked a bit as she continued… killed two men right in front of me. You should have seen the look on his face. What’s more, he told me to watch the show. I am trying not to gag that that was the same hands that he used and….” She stopped as she grew red in the face like a tomato, remembering the little intense act that had happened last night before. Mrs Selena on the other hand misread the turning red as horror for what she might had gone through.
“Oh dear, that wasn’t very nice of my son. I promise that I will talk to him and he will stop killing men….in the house anyways. But that isn’t enough reason for you to leave, give the marriage a chance. Do not break my son’s heart.” She said trying to plead with Riona as she took her hands into hers and covered them like a mother providing shelter and comfort to a terrified child.
“I highly doubt your son’s heart is anything less than a hard stone up there, miraculously pumping blood. You do not understand, I cannot be with a man who kills people for fun, Mrs Selena. Who then am I? When he can kill me in the middle of the night in the bedroom and nobody would come to my rescue because it is Black.” Riona said as she gasped, shock scribbled all over her face as she realized what she had just said. It was as if she had already accepted Black to be her husband and doing nasty things to her. Damn it, she was already thinking like Farah. All the more reason she had to leave here.
“Oh dear… I doubt my son Black will literally kill you in the bedroom. I heard he is quite a monster in bed but on the upside, you will get to enjoy it too.” She said giggling a bit as Riona’s mouth dropped hearing this.
“OH MY GOD….Tell me I just didn’t get sexually coached by my mother in law.” She said walking back in disbelief as she fell on the bed.
“Oh come off it, I may be in my sixties but I do have the stamina of a 35 year old woman in bed. I could tell you all the styles and positions for him to fall harder for you.” She said with a wink.
“I do not want to hear anything else please. I will just like to take my leave now. Tell your son, that I am dreadfully sorry but I won’t be able to continue with this day old marriage. He is really a nice guy…honestly speaking but I have come to the conclusion that I am not the woman for him.” She said walking backwards to the door when she hit something hard.
“Ouch, I knew the door was hard but I didn’t expect it to be this hard.” She said holding her aching head as she turned and soon fell to the ground as her legs became wobbly.
“Mother, could we have some privacy please. I believe that my wife and I have some things to clarify here.” Although the statement may have been made for his mother, his eyes were still on Riona who was on the ground, paralyzed by two different things; fear and arousal. Fear, that she had met him on his angry side, and arousal because, irrespective of the blood stains, he still looked muscular and breathtaking in that shirt of his, which seemed to not be able to contain all the manliness it shielded within.
“Okay son, please do not be too hard on her. I will go check on the lunch in the kitchen. I am making your special.” She said walking out of the room closing the door beside her as Black gave her a parting nod and gratitude.
“Thank you mother.” Although it seemed more like he was thanking her for leaving more, over his special dish she was preparing for him.
“Well…hello dear, little beach bunny.” He said in a dark husky voice as Riona gulped.
