Chapter 61 The begining of training
“Stop,” my voice was a mixture of a plea and a command.
He didn't listen; his gun was aimed at her head, ready to blow it up.
I placed my hand against his back and rubbed it. "Damien, please."
“Fuck,” he growled softly as he pulled the gun away from her.
The receptionist exhaled in relief, her shoulders falling and her head still bent to the ground.
Damien clenched his gun tightly and jammed the gun against her head; she winced in pain and placed her fingers over her head as she cried out in pain.
“You watched her embarrass my wife and did nothing!" He looked at the staff; they all fell to their knees.
"Damein, let it go,” I said in a soft tone.
He grabbed my hand with his other, grabbed the black card from the receptionist, and dragged me out of the place.
He waved his hand at my driver, who waited across the street, and carried me to his. As soon as we both got into the back seat and closed the car door, I turned to face him.
“It's okay, Damein; she didn't know how I was."
He clenched his fists so tight his knuckles turned white. “That's an error; they should know you." He looked at me and slipped his fingers into mine. “Everybody should know that you are mine, untouchable."
I pulled closer to him and straddled him; he looked up at me, his body melting into my touch.
I brushed his hair off my forehead and placed a kiss on it; his body melted. "Okay, I'm better,” she said with a smile playing on her lips.
I tilted his chin up and placed a kiss on his lips. “Maybe you overreacted a little."
“She disrespected you; there's no limit to how I would go to make her pay."
I chuckled, “You would kill?"
“You know I would,” he responded almost immediately.
"Yes, but she's not in the Mafia or an enemy with guns pointed at my head; she's just a lady at a boutique."
He pressed me tighter against himself. “I don't care." He shook his head; his gaze moved to my lips and flicked back to my eyes. “Enough of that. I missed you."
I pursed my lips. “Whose fault is that? You have been too busy for me."
“I'm sorry,” he apologized.
I wrapped my arms around his neck. “How are we on the promise that you'll teach me all I need to know about what you do?"
His head flung back as he let out a soft groan, “I thought you forgot about that."
“Never,” I said with a smile, tugging at my lips.
