Chapter 72
*RINA*
After the meditation class, Austin begged to follow me to the mansion but I really don't want him to tag along but Pearl told me to be nice.
"What about the Alpha?" I whispered into her ears.
"He would be fine by just texting him. Tell him that you're bringing a friend." She tapped my back and walked to where our car was parked.
I texted Damien but he didn't reply. It seems he still had a meeting.
"Okay let's go" I reluctantly said to Austin. He was so happy, he was giggling and jumping like a child.
"Get into the car already" I rolled my eyes and sat with Pearl and asked Austin to sit in front.
The ride was really silent, no one was talking to each other, everyone was busy on their phones.
"You seem to be getting better at casting spells, in fact your aura is becoming stronger," Pearl smiled.
"Really?" I asked in disbelief.
She nodded and continued pressing my phone. I didn't know what to say to her and I don't know how to feel now especially with the fact that I'm not sure yet.
When we arrived at the mansion, Austin started hopping about like a monkey.
"What's up with him ?" I turned to say to Pearl but she disappeared. "Where did you go?" I half yelled and caught up with Austin.
I showed Austin around the mansion except the Alpha's private areas and that includes the rooms in fact our rooms.
I asked the maid to prepare a meal for Austin and something different for Damien. While he was eating in the dining room, Lily walked in to tell me about the Alpha's arrival.
I left Austin at the dining table and went to welcome Damien and lead him to the dinning and served him personally.
Austin kept discussing what happens during workouts and training, cracking jokes and making me laugh except Damien, he seemed a little jealous he just fakes a laugh at some point.
Austin cleared his throat, "Your highness".
"Yes?" Damien faked a smile and glanced at Austin.
"Can I please stay here for a month?" He begged.
Damien stared at me trying to see if I wanted it but I refused to look at him. I focused on my food.
"Sure" He scoffed.
I choked on hearing that, I tapped my chest and grabbed a glass of water and drank quickly before they would notice.
"Seriously" He sounded like he would have screamed if not for the fact that he was going to choke on his food.
"Yes, that would be nice," Damien laughed and continued eating.
What! Nice? How? My eyes widened. Damien can't be serious. I know you don't want him here just say it I don't want him either. I ended up choking seriously this time I was coughing.
"Are you okay?" Damien and Austin said in unison.
I nodded and shook my head at the same time.
Austin tried to help me but I could see the dead glare Damien had given him.

The next day, Pearl and I were taking a walk when Austin drove into the mansion.
"Sheesh he really came" I grumbled on seeing him bringing out two luggages from the trunk of his car.
"Silly girl I thought you were okay with it " Earl giggled and pulled my hand, and twenty to meet Austin.
"Hey" I waved, forcing a smile.
"Welcome" Pearl looked around and beaconed a maid to come over.
"Your highness" She bowed slightly.
"Take him to one of the guest rooms" I pointed at his luggages, "you can call someone to assist you with those as well"
"Okay ma'am" She bowed slightly and left with Austin.
We walked to our usual spot at the back of the mansion. We sat down for a while, we were talking about ourselves and the Alpha.
"So I was going to tell you that I'm leaving tomorrow" Pearl tucked her finger into her hair and pushed it backward.
"Why?" I frowned.
"Erickson wants me to give birth in our pack so I don't have a choice" She smiled. "My mum wants me back as well," She added .
"Oh okay" I managed to smile. "I would pay you a visit someday"
She smiled back.

*DRAKE*
Margret had said everything we needed, Damien and I were trying to reach our spy in the mountains but her phone was not going through.
"So what do we do?" I asked dropping mp phone on the table.
"Aren't you a wizard ? Why don't you try casting a spell and watch her form a mirror or maybe a pot?" He kept scrolling through his phone.
"Yh that's true" I smiled.
Why do I forget to do stuff like this when I get so tense?.
I was about to run to the inner chamber of Damien's office to get the necessary materials needed for it.
"Why do I always have to remind you about being a wizard?" He rolled his eyes.
"Come on, I just didn't think of doing that, you know?" I smiled.

*DAMIEN*
I watched Drake perform some rituals and said some incantations as he stood in front of the mirror.
We saw our spy try to turn on her phone, it seems her phone went off and she's safe.
"Can we take a look around the houses in the mountains ?" I turned to Drake and kept watching every move of the spy.
"I'm not sure I can do it now, it seems she's leaving already" He sat down on a chair close to him.

*RINA*
Lily was teaching me new tricks in the garden when Austin joined us. I rolled my eyes on seeing him.
"What's up?" He smiled.
"I'm good just practicing" I forced a smile.
"Who is he?" Lily asked.
"A friend of mine" I glared at him.
"He is handsome," She smiled.
"And brainless" I whispered into her ears. And we bursted into laughter.
"What?" He gave us a questioning look.
"Nothing babe" I raised a brow and smirked.
Austin sat down and watched me practice some spells he kept making us laugh, he was playful and acted cute sometimes. "Silly boy".
I practiced a few spells on him. At some point, I controlled his mind. I made him walk up to a maid and kiss her. The dirty slap he received brought him back to his senses Lily and I couldn't stop laughing. He angrily sat down and kept asking what happened.
"Oh silly Lily" I slurred speech as she told him what had happened.
"What?" He yelled.
"I'm so sorry" I pleaded, what I did was really wrong. I should have made him do something else but I'm still happy he got the slap that I wanted to give him long ago.
He just stared at me and walked away he looked like he was going to explode.
"I'm sorry" I said to myself.
