Chapter 134 Chapter 134
Chapter 134 Chapter 134
Chase and Logan were currently in Logan's room, lying on the bed, wrapped in each other's arms. For a moment, neither of them said anything. They simply lay there in comfortable silence, lost in their own thoughts.
Logan suddenly looked up at Chase.
"What are you thinking?" He asked softly, his voice barely above a whisper.
Chase let out a quiet sigh before smiling. "I still can't believe this is real."
Logan tilted his head. "What do you mean?"
Chase laughed softly.
"I mean... we both expected the worst to happen, but everything turned out even better than I imagined." He shook his head in disbelief. "I never thought your parents would be so warm and welcoming. They accepted me so easily... it's almost unbelievable."
Logan smiled, resting his chin lightly against Chase's chest.
"I know."
He let out a small laugh.
"I spent years being terrified of telling them the truth, when all along... maybe I just needed to trust them."
Chase gently brushed his fingers through Logan's hair.
"It's normal to be scared, baby." His voice was calm and reassuring. "Not everyone is lucky enough to get a happy ending like this. Sometimes... parents don't react the way their children hope they will."
He paused for a moment.
"So of course you were afraid."
Logan nodded quietly. "I'm just grateful everything turned out okay."
"So am I."
For a few seconds, they simply looked at each other.
Then Chase suddenly smiled to himself.
"You know..."
"Hm?"
"How come you're nothing like your parents?"
Logan frowned. "What does that mean?"
Chase shifted slightly until they were looking directly at each other.
"I'm saying..." He began, trying to suppress a grin.
"They're so sweet and polite."
His grin widened.
"But you..."
Logan narrowed his eyes suspiciously. "I dare you to finish that sentence."
Chase burst into laughter. "I was going to say stubborn!"
Before he could laugh any harder, Logan suddenly pushed him onto the mattress.
"Hey!"
Logan climbed on top of him, pinning both of his wrists above his head.
"I'm stubborn, right?'' Logan smirked triumphantly. "I'll show you stubborn."
Chase laughed so hard his stomach began hurting.
"Come on, baby!"
"No."
"I was complimenting you!"
"You absolutely were not."
"I swear!"
Logan raised an eyebrow. "Really?"
"...Maybe not."
Logan pretended to glare at him.
"You know, you're becoming very annoying."
"But that doesn't change your love for me." Chase winked.
Logan tried to keep a straight face.
Unfortunately, he lasted barely two seconds before smiling.
"Just shut up."
Chase's smile softened. "You remember when we couldn't even stand being in the same room?"
Logan rolled his eyes. "Please don't remind me. I honestly thought you'd kill me one day."
"I almost did." Chase laughed.
"I never imagined the same guy who used to drive me crazy would become the person I can't live without." His voice became softer. "Still, I'd choose you over and over again."
Logan's expression melted completely.
"I love you."
"I love you more, baby."
Logan leaned down and captured Chase's lips in a slow, lingering kiss.
Neither of them hurried.
They simply enjoyed the moment, smiling against each other's lips before finally pulling apart.
Logan rested his forehead against Chase's.
"I want to meet your parents."
Chase froze. "What?"
"I want to meet them."
For the first time that day, Chase didn't know what to say.
His smile slowly faded as countless thoughts raced through his mind.
Logan noticed the hesitation immediately.
His own smile faltered.
"Are... are you not ready?"
Before Chase could answer, Logan quickly continued.
"It's okay if you're not. I'm not trying to rush you. I know things are different, and I completely understand if you need more time."
"Logan."
"I can wait."
"Baby."
"I don't want you to feel pressured—"
"Let's do it."
Logan blinked. "Really?"
Chase nodded slowly. "Really."
A smile slowly spread across Logan's face. "You mean it?"
"I do."
He reached up and gently brushed Logan's hair to the side.
"My parents are going to love you."
Logan smiled shyly. "You think so?"
"I know so."
Chase chuckled.
"Each time my mum calls, she'd always ask if I've finally found someone special."
"And my dad..." He laughed, shaking his head. "He's been waiting forever for me to bring someone home."
He looked into Logan's eyes with complete sincerity.
"I can't promise everything will be perfect. But I can promise one thing." He took Logan's hand and kissed the back of it. "No matter what happens... I'm never letting you go."
A warm smile spread across Logan's face.
"Then let's meet them."
Chase smiled back before wrapping his arms around Logan once again.
"I have a feeling..."
"They're going to love you almost as much as I do."
Logan laughed softly. "Almost?"
Chase grinned. "Nobody gets to love you more than me."
Logan rolled his eyes playfully before stealing another quick kiss.
"I think that's impossible anyway." He said, then leaned forward, capturing Chase's lips in another slow kiss.
Chase smiled against his lips before reluctantly pulling away.
"Baby..." He whispered with a helpless laugh. "We're in your parents house."
Logan wrapped his arms around his neck and looked into his eyes.
"So?" He asked innocently.
Chase raised an eyebrow. "You're seriously trying to tempt me right now?"
"Maybe." Logan admitted with a grin. He rested their foreheads together, his voice dropping to a soft whisper. "I've missed you all morning."
Chase closed his eyes for a brief moment and let out a slow breath. "You're making this very difficult."
Logan smiled, gently brushing the tip of his nose against Chase's.
"Please, baby."
Chase looked at him for a long moment before shaking his head with a defeated smile.
"You're impossible."
"But you love me still."
"More than anything."
With that, Chase leaned in and kissed him again, pouring every bit of love he felt into the kiss.
A little later, Mrs. Vivienne made her way upstairs, planning to call the boys down for some dessert.
She stopped outside Logan's bedroom and raised her hand, ready to knock.
Just then, she paused.
From inside the room came unmistakable sounds that made her eyes widen.
"Oh..."
Her cheeks instantly turned rosy.
She quickly lowered her hand from the door, covering her mouth to stop herself from laughing.
"I think..." She muttered to herself with an amused smile, "...I'll come back later."
She quietly turned around and started walking back downstairs.
After taking a few steps, she couldn't help chuckling to herself.
"Well..." She murmured, shaking her head with a fond smile. "I think I know who's in charge in that relationship."
She laughed again, deciding dessert could wait until much later. The boys clearly had no intention of leaving that room anytime soon.
