Chapter 26

Maybe because of my crying, I didn't notice that Akia had entered here and was just watching me cry. I just ignored him and just took the white blanket that was covering me and hugged it tightly while still crying.

"A-akia..." I uttered my friend's name shakily. He still looks at me as he slowly gets closer to me. There was a tremor in his eyes while looking at me.

"D-destiny, t-is it true?" The tremor remained in him as he looked and asked me. I let go of the blanket I was holding and wiped my tears on my palm for a moment and looked at him.

"What truth are you saying, Akia?" He was still shaking but now he came closer to me and put his hand on both of my shoulders and looked straight into my eyes.

"Are you Fate Destiny Marie Carbal my friend?" I looked at him confused. But he didn't take his eyes off me, instead he looked at me seriously.

"Y-yeah. I'm Fate Destiny Marie Carbal" I smiled a fake smile. I'll admit, I don't know myself but I can't seem to accept that name inside of me, I don't know why.

He remained in that position for a few seconds when he suddenly moved away from me and his tears fell one by one. I was shocked by his actions so I was about to touch him when he moved his hand away from me and crossed his arms and turned his back on me

"A-akia---"

"If you are not my friend Destiny then who on earth are you? Why do you look like her?" for reasons I can't explain I felt nervous. What is Akia saying? is he joking

"I do not understand you---"

"Don't play with me faker! What did you do to my friend? Don't tell me..." he breathed and put his hand over his mouth.

"Ohmygosh! Don't tell me, you're Jedidah's daughter from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre? Ohmygosh!" and the second time he inhaled again but this time stronger.

"Texas Chainsaw Massacre?" I looked at him confused.

But instead of answering my question, he made me suffer and just avoided me. I don't understand why Akia acted like this? Did I do anything wrong?

"Akia, did I do something wrong?" He looked at me for a moment and then returned to his earlier position.

"Like uhh ah! There is" I frowned.

"What?---" I couldn't finish what I was going to say when the door opened and Aiden spat out. His face was full of worry.

Akia and I turned to him at the same time but he just ignored it and just continued walking towards me. I don't know about myself but I suddenly feel nervous?

"D-destiny .." when he got close to me he headed. I just looked at him confused and so did Akia. He was just looking at Aiden.

"What are you doing here, Aiden? Don't you still have school? I found out later--" Aiden didn't let Akia finish what he was saying, Aiden immediately looked up at me and looked straight at me seriously. in my eyes.

I suddenly felt cold sweats on my back and forehead. What's wrong and Aiden can just look at me like this?

"Have you made up your mind yet?" My eyes widened at his question.

Darren Thomas' Pov

"What exactly on earth are you doing here?" I just ignored Zian's question to me and I just continued reading the book that I just took from his room.

Zian's room is like a library with so many books. If you look at it, you won't think it's a room. It also has a chandelier in the middle that serves to illuminate the entire room. Her room also has a motif of a combination of brown and red.

"I don't want to interfere with your problems in life, but can you just go to Cloude?" while he said that, his voice was full of boredom as he turned the page of the book he was reading. "Because I don't want anyone to disturb my private place"

I just nodded at what he said and stood up from my seat and returned the book I was holding to where I had taken it earlier. And I looked at him who was now sitting quietly on his bed and leaning on the headbroad and quietly reading a book.

"Thanks by the way" and I turned around and started walking towards the door when he suddenly spoke causing me to stop walking for a moment and listen to what he was saying.

"I see in your eyes that you are confused by your feelings right now, but I advised you to think carefully so that the woman who is stuck in the situation is not hurt too much"

I don't know how to react. Will I be shocked, surprised, annoyed or angry? I don't know myself. But I only know one thing, even though I'm confused, I'm also thankful because somehow I received the advised that I've been looking for since Des passed out.

I was upset because something happened to Des and I did nothing but run and leave him. I let myself leave a woman unconscious. I'll admit, I'm confused why I left him. I feel sorry for Des but it seems that even within myself I don't have the power to make my heart forget about Chiara. Because until now I still love Chiara very much.

Even though she has Ethan...

"If I were you, I would just go home and think about everything." I was immediately brought back to reality when Zian spoke.

I raised my head to look at him and thank him. "Thank you". That's all I said and I left.

Fate Destiny's Pov

"W-what decision?" Akia asked confused. I felt nervous and scared. Decision.

I just ignored what Aiden said and covered my face with my palm.

"Do you really need to remind me about that stuff?" my tears also started to fall. I feel a mixture of emotions. Pity for myself, pain because Aiden just left me alone and nervous because Aiden is looking for me to make a decision about what he is saying.

"Don't see it, Destiny? You don't even belong here! We don't even belong here, even those feelings that you feel right this moment, you shouldn't even feel that kind of emotions" I removed my hand I looked at my face and looked at him who is now far away from me but the pity still remains in his eyes.

Even though my tears continued to fall and I just ignored it and just kept looking at Aiden.

"What are you saying, Aiden? I can't understand you anymore. At first what you were saying was believable, but now I don't know if I can believe it anymore" I started crying while saying that.

"All I'm asking is your decision, Destiny. A decision to avoid and get away from the pain that you really shouldn't experience..." I covered my ears because I felt like I couldn't listen anymore what he says.

Who can say that what he says is true? maybe he is cheating and just making up a story.

"I don't wanna believe to those lies" I cried while covering both my ears. I also closed my eyes but before I closed them I knew that Akia was really confused looking at me but she couldn't even ask a question.

"I'm not lying or making such nonsense stories. I'm telling the truth and I'm saying these because I want you to be saved"
