Chapter Thirty Seven
**A few hours later**
Of course, I found the whole ‘bad biker’ thing sexy on Alexander, but when dating a biker, it's important to realize that he will take you (most) places on the back of his bike. I had no issue with that, obviously, except when we were going on a date and I had just styled my hair. Helmet hair is a real thing.
A very real thing.
‘Stop fussing, you still look beautiful’ Alex told me as I caught my reflection in one of the glass panels that surrounded our both. I looked at him, but his smile was so infectious, I couldn’t help but smile back and leaned over to kiss him.
As soon as my lips caught his, I scooted closer and it became an almost full make out session but a very quiet giggle caught my attention and I pulled away quickly, remembering that it wasn’t just us. I looked down, feeling my face heat up, remembering that we were sitting across from Harry and Sarah.
‘I’m really sorry’. I admitted, embarrassed, but she just waved it off.
‘Don’t worry about it, I remember how it was when you’re first starting out’.
‘What’s that meant to mean?’ Harry quickly interjected, but he was clearly finding the funny side. She just rolled her eyes and gave him a quick peck on the lips.
‘I guess I just got caught up in the moment, but can you blame me?’ I looked back at Alex and saw him smirking, clearly, my comment had stroked his ego a little bit.
The waiter came over to take our orders and then hurried off again. Once again, I was glad to see that Sarah had ordered a ‘proper’ meal again.
We filled the time before our food arrived by talking about random little things, Sarah had asked how the guys’ day went, I took note that Harry specifically didn’t ask her the same question. I guess unless it's brought up because of an issue, Harry probably didn’t want to hear about other men fucking his wife for money I don’t judge people, or at least, I try not to unless the first impression is a very bad one, but I guess I always thought of 'escort’ as just a fancy word for prostitute, and prostitute, or at least the word, makes you instantly think of someone seedy and gross, but that wasn’t Sarah.
She was lovely and sweet, and she cared about her family. It was just a job. It really put that into perspective.
‘Hey, what’s on your mind, space cadet?’ Alex asked when I obviously hadn’t spoken in a little while. I just shrugged and shook my head.
‘Nothing, sorry, just zoned out.’ I smiled at him and placed my hand on his leg under the table, not in an inappropriate way, I just wanted to touch him. I carried talking to Sarah when I felt his hand touch mine and I couldn’t help my smile growing bigger and he hooked his fingers through mine and held it.

Dinner was delicious and while we waited for dessert, Alex and Harry went to the bar to order us another round of drinks.
‘So, are you having a good time?’ Sarah asked as soon as we were alone. I nodded. I really was. ‘Ah, good, I’m glad. It's weird, I’ve never seen Alexander this happy before’. I couldn’t help but feel good about that.
‘Really?’ She took a sip of her nearly empty drink and hmm’ed, nodding.
‘Yeah, I mean, I tend to stay away from him, to be honest, he always freaked me out a little bit, I can hand on my heart say, I’ve never seen him like this before’. I couldn’t stop smiling, but her comment made me wonder...
‘Why did he freak you out?’ She shrugged. ‘Tell me.’
‘He’s just really dangerous, Harley.’ I wanted to ask what she meant by that but before I could, the guys returned to the table and the subject was forgotten... for now. Alex passed me my cocktail and I thanked him with a quick kiss.
Someone’s phone rang, cutting through the silence. We shared a look before Harry checked his phone.
‘It’s Ron’. Oh, now why was Ron calling?
‘Does he know we’re out together?’ I whispered to Alex, but he shook his head. So, why was he ringing then? We all just stayed quiet and listened to Harry’s one-sided conversation.
‘Hey, what’s up? Yeah, just out for a few drinks with Alex.... No, No I haven’t seen her’. His eyes shot to me. Clearly, Ron was grilling him. ‘I’m sure. She was with Sarah. I’ll ask. How’s Tommy? Oh shit, well do you need us back? Right, see you then, bye’. He hung up the phone and signed.
‘Duty calls?’ Sarah asked, not sounding at all surprised. I guess this was a common thing, Harry having to run off in the middle of date night... that’s sad.
‘Sorry babe’. He leaned over and kissed her before taking his wallet out and putting his credit card on the table. ‘On me, have fun, ok?’ She just nodded, clearly upset. He kissed her again before sliding out the booth, waiting for Alex.
‘I don’t know how late this is going to go, see you in the morning?’ He asked.
‘Sure’. He pulled me to him and pressed his lips to mine, lingering longer than was necessary, but I wasn’t complaining before he too got up and the guys left.
The guys had left us with two fresh drinks but Sarah said she was going to go to the bathroom so I decided to head to the bar and order a couple of pitchers. I felt guilty and weird using Harry’s card, so I just used my own cash, and as I waited for the bartender to make the drinks, I casually looked around.
As soon as my eyes landed on a familiar, attractive face, I looked away again. it was the cute guy from Sarah’s work. This could be awkward...
I didn’t even need to look up to know he was coming over and sure enough, not even 30 seconds later...
‘Hey, Are you stalking me?’ He joked. I laughed awkwardly.
‘No, just here with my friend’.
‘Well, how about that drink now?’ I felt so uncomfortable.
‘Thank you for the offer, really, but I have a boyfriend so—’
‘No problem’. Before I could even finish my sentence, he cut me off and walked away. Well, that was weird. I watched him as he headed outside and vanished from sight. I tried not to let it put me off too much and decided to just forget about it all and when our drinks were ready, I took them back to the table, ready to enjoy what had suddenly turned into a girls night!

Unknown persons P. O. V
I walked out of the bar and took my phone out of my pocket. She had given me the information I wanted. I had kept to the shadows this evening and watched from afar as she had what looked like a date with two of the SS crew.
Maybe she was more valuable than we thought. She would be a perfect target.
I dialed the number and waited. They picked the phone up almost instantly.
‘Yo?’
‘She’s in the bar on main street, just her and another SS whore.’
‘Stay there, we're on our way’. I hung up the phone and went to sit on my bike, waiting for the others to arrive. Ron and his bunch of biker bitches will regret what they did in Oregon
