It had been two days, and Jessa still hadn't transferred the money to the company's account.
I hadn't asked Levi about it, and I didn't know how he would handle it.
As for Chase's accounting issues, whether Levi would turn a blind eye or not, I had no idea.
After dinner, as soon as I entered the bedroom, I smelled an incredibly strong fragrance.
I slowly walked to the window and saw an incense burner on the windowsill, burning incense.
Levi wasn't home yet, and this didn't seem like something he would do.
I picked up the incense burner to ask Indigo. As soon as I went downstairs, I saw the confusion in her eyes - clearly, she didn't know what was going on either.
"Mrs. Morgan, what are you doing with that?"
"Wasn't it you who put this in my room?"
Indigo shook her head. "How could that be? You and Mr. Morgan don't like these things. We never burn incense in this house."
Speaking of burning incense, except for the Morgan mansion, where they might do it, we certainly didn't have that habit here.
"Who went into my room today?"
"None of us would dare, unless it was Celestia."
In the house, besides Celestia, who might go in, there was also Faye. But she hasn't been at our place long, and she wouldn't go to my room when I'm not home.

Just as I was puzzled, Faye and Celestia came back from playing outside.
"Blair, isn't this incense super fragrant?"

"Mommy, Auntie Faye and I both think it smells really good. We lit it in your room so you and Daddy can smell something nice when you're resting, and it'll make you feel better."

"Where did you get this incense?"
"Oh, Jessa gave it to me. I wasn't going to accept anything from her, but she insisted on giving it to me. She even lit some at the office, and all the colleagues thought it smelled good."
Jessa gave it to her?
My nerves tensed up. Anything from her makes me suspicious.
"By the way, she said this incense can help you and Levi relax, and that it's quite rare."
Faye seemed to agree with what Jessa said, but this incense was really too strong - so strong it was suffocating.
"Mrs. Morgan, let me throw it away. You don't like it anyway."
Indigo saw my expression and knew I already disliked Jessa.
"No rush."
If Jessa simply wanted to please Faye, she didn't need to mention that it would help Levi and me relax specifically. She was clearly guiding Faye to use it on us.

"You and Celestia go play."
I sent them away, then had Indigo get the unused incense.
Indigo collected all the unburned incense from the burner along with the rest of it and stored it away.
"Mrs. Morgan, I know a master perfumer who used to make special incense for Mrs. Natalia Morgan at the Morgan mansion. Let me have him take a look."
"Okay, thank you."
I was really worried about this. When Levi came home, I didn't tell him about it. The unique fragrance in the room made him sneeze constantly - he was having an allergic reaction.

I had broken dreams all night. Several times when I woke up, I checked on Levi - he was sleeping fairly peacefully.
The air purifier ran all night. Even in silent mode, the air circulation in the room gave me an uncomfortable feeling.
The next day, before we could leave for work, Jessa showed up on her own.
Levi invited her to have breakfast with us.
Indigo quietly called me aside.
Looking at the test report, my heart went cold.
"Mrs. Morgan, that incense contains extremely high levels of musk. Is she trying to make you infertile?" Indigo was deeply worried.
I didn't expect Jessa to have such evil intentions. Forget about whether I get pregnant or not - Levi is allergic to incense, and this could kill him.
"I'll go over first. You take care of other things."

Celestia peeled an egg for me. "Mommy, eat the egg. It's nutritious."

After Celestia left, I placed the test report in front of Levi.
"Yesterday, she sent us incense through Faye. Faye meant well and burned it in our room. After I discovered it, I took care of it."
I looked at Jessa. "But this incense contains large amounts of musk. Using too much of it causes infertility."
"What?"
Faye cried out. "Blair, I had no idea! Jessa said it was good stuff, that's why I brought it home..."
"Through Indigo, it was sent to a professional testing facility. The facts are right here. I guess you've been watching too many TV dramas and decided to use such despicable methods against me?"
Jessa put down her bowl and hurriedly explained, "Levi, it's not like that. I didn't know there was musk in it either. I thought it was high-quality incense that someone gave me. I couldn't bear to use it myself, so I gave it to you."
"I really just wanted to thank you for helping me," Jessa continued.

Faye looked at me with confusion. "Blair, what happened to Levi?"
