"I think Payton deserves someone who is kind, funny and someone that can handle her dramatics. It doesn't matter if I think he's good enough that is for her to decide. Whoever that is." I said and he nodded, "she also deserves someone who knows what he wants and will fight anyone to get her." I added and his eyes snapped towards me.
“I understand” He nodded
“I don’t think you do” I replied
“if Eric is the guy she wants then I will fight him for her. She has to see it’s me or no one else” he said and I nodded and smiled
“so you do get it” I replied and he nodded and left the room.
"Okay I got the hint. I will fight Charles for you" Chase said once he knew we were fully alone.
"Dufus, not everything is about you. And plus Charles is not your ‘I will fight for her’ person you're so off track, I could take that loser on myself" I said
"You said the same thing when you were drunk the night we met" he smirked
"Yeah well I'm smart even when my inhabitations are low" I smiled
"wait so who do I need to fight" he asked

"What do you mean, has he said anything?" He asked and I walked towards the door and
walked out with a shrug and him tailing me
"Tell me now Valerie, I need to know what he thinks to counter his moved and be with you without having to steal you away, easy way and all" he pleaded as I shook my head

“that is so easy, you practically begged me for sex in the morning” he laughed and I shoved him. We entered the kitchen where everyone was packing up. Payton and Vince had decided to have a chat tomorrow as everyone was done for the day.
"I’ll see you tomorrow okay?" Chase said
"Yes bright and early at 8." I replied
He pecked my cheek and I blushed behind me there was a cough, Vince, a barfing noise,
Mila, and 2 aww's, Payton and Anderson. "Bye" he said and waved to people behind us
and the boys left after.
"So," Payton started
"We heard everything" Mila confessed and Payton’s face went blank
"We’re sorry but like, come on, what did you expect" I said
"honestly expected from the two of you" she said
“oh Chase and Anderson also were there hiding the fact they were intrested” we laughed and Payton was genuinely surprised
“I didn’t expect chase to butt in” she smirked but continued, "Did you hear him going like uh I don’t know what I feel"
"Yeah" both of us replied.
"I was like bro, get a fucking grip. I know you were jealous. And the way he was like oh what do you think I was feeling" she yelled pacing the room.
“we know like he really could just confess then and there but fuck no, male ego” Mila said egging her on

"That's exactly what I was thinking in the moment" Mila yelled, "like this is not the moment to gaslight bro" she said
"OH my god that's what I said" I chimed
"What to do now" she asked defeated and slouched and sat on the bed.
"Well" Mila started, "If he's not getting you the edge he needs to be shoved. I say you go on
a date with Eric. Hell we'll make it a double with me and Davon" she said then turned to me. "I would ask you and Chase but I'm confused as to what you guys are" she said "I think it depends on the day, but my knife is only aimed at one target for sure." I said and shrugged.
"I guess let's do it." Payton said and I texted Eric the plan.
"If after this he doesn't confess his undying love for me in a 500 page book I will shoot him. Or get you to torture him." She said and I gave her a thumbs up. I would share the private conversation with the girls but it would just get their hopes up and what if he doesn’t come through with his words. We all passed out for an afternoon nap 15 minutes later. I texted chase an update and replied to Anderson about him wanting to talk to me before we go and torture his mentor.
I totally forgot I had to get home. when I looked down at my phone I had 53 mised calls. fuck. who the fuck dies now, at this hour. There were messages letting me know my dad was hella pissed and he will be expecting me home. I looked up and chase and nodded at him saying I need to fucking go now.
