“where to val?” he ask sizing me up.
“just out clubbing with a few of my friends.” I replied
“okay I’m sending 4 people to follow you. Is that dicanto boy going to be with you?”
“yes, he’s dropping me and then I’m staying over a friends, I shall be back by 9 am.”
“no, come back home, no sleep overs.”
“dad! You cannot tell me what to do!”
“sure as hell can, you have training tomorrow!”
“not till 12! And I can stay at Mila’s, it’s been searched and made safe, she is also a part of Stacks and gave up all her information willingly.”
“yes ok, but I don’t trust dicanto. Teenage boys and all.”

“no buts, I will allow 2 men to follow, Chase also has 5 men with him.”
“fine. Whatever you feel fit. But if anything goes wrong, call me and I’ll be there, we have a tracker system. As long as you and dicanto are just friends its okay. I do not approve of that boy.”
“yes dad.” I said with a blush to my face. He followed me till out and surprisingly came out till the car.
My dad was not scary to me as I had seen him slip and stumble and fall at numerous occasions, he was a kultz, but when it got down to business he demon side came out. exactly like the look he was giving Chase. Dad opened the merc door for me, by now Chase was inside our villa gates as he was authorized by me, his bodyguards waiting outside the gates.
“I don’t trust you.” My dad told Chase as he opened the door for me.
“as long as you daughter trusts me I shall be good.” He smirked back to which my dad scowled. Unbelievable. Chase was not afraid. I sat in the passenger seat.
“my men are tracking you dicanto. Tracking.” Dad said and gave the world scariest death glare.
“she’s safe with me sir, I promise.” He replied with a smile.
“right here people. Right here.” I said, I gave my dad and Chase a ‘cut it out’ look. Dad shut the car door and Chase drove off with my other car following us.
“how were you not scared?” I asked him after 5 minutes of silence.
“that’s how much I like you val. Nothing will happen to you on my watch, you are capable but I am here for you too.” He replied and put his hand on my thigh to give it a squeeze.
“I trust you” and I did. I put my hand on his and slipped it up higher.
“you’re not wearing your knives tonight?” he asked trying to find my knife belt on my thing which was sending different kind of waves to my core.
“huh?” his question didn’t register in my mind, I was getting weirdly turned on by his hand on my empty thing. Knowingly Chase rubbed that part inching higher till he reached the end of my panties. My eyes met his twinkling ones.

He slowed down the car and stopped at the side of the road. It was 11 so no acrs except our own were around.

I kept a calm exterior but internally I was screaming for 2 reasons,
1. he said he liked me oh my god
2. what the fuck was he thinking
and then he continued, “But I’m giving you time to figure your feelings cause I want you to want me as much as I want you right now.” His words took time to register as his hand on my thigh were sending heartbeats to my core and his other hand was stroking my jawline sending shivers down my body. I nodded a second too late and he smirked.
“we shall be there in 5 minutes.” He said removing both his hands from my body. Fuck, I missed their warmth.
“ok” I said and cleared my throat after my voice came out as a squeak. I have never felt so sexually frustrated, flustered or awestruck before. What was this man doing to me.
“I don’t have my knives tonight cause it was showing through this dress.” I stated, “fashion choice.” I said. And he laughed.
“okay, I’ve carried one just in case you need it.” He said which surprised me.
