Chapter 202: Changing Beds, Affecting Performance
A deeply passionate kiss.
After the kiss, he smoothly took half of the meat along with it.
After swallowing, he wickedly licked the sauce from the corner of his lips with his tongue tip and commented, "Tastes good."
She had meant to tease him.
Instead, she was the one being teased - her ears burning hot, her cheeks flushed like fire.
James's meaningful words weren't just praising his own sweet and sour pork - he was also praising her taste.
This man was constantly flirting.
Those eyes looking at her seemed to pull at her heartstrings.
Mia couldn't take his staring anymore. She raised her hand and pushed his handsome face away from her. "Go cook."
After pushing him away, she picked up the sweet and sour pork and quickly left the kitchen.
......
James really was a good cook, plus he knew her preferences inside and out.
Both the dishes and flavors were exactly what she liked. At dinner, Mia couldn't control herself and ate a bit too much.
She put down her utensils, about to suggest going downstairs for a walk to digest, when she heard James speak first, "Mia, want to go out for a bit?"
Mia looked up at him in surprise.
What was going on tonight?
This James, after filling her stomach, wasn't immediately pouncing on her, but actually suggesting they go out?
"Sure."
Stuffed Mia immediately nodded in agreement.
Together they cleared the dishes into the kitchen. He washed while she stood beside him helping to rinse.
After cleaning up the kitchen together, they changed shoes and headed out.
Downstairs, James wrapped his arm around Mia's waist and pulled her close. "Let's go to the mall?"
Mia looked at him with confusion.
Why go to the mall for no reason?
James held her even tighter, his large hand on her waist ambiguously pinching the soft flesh there.
Leaning in slightly, his thin lips close to her ear, he said seriously, "Your bed at home is too small. It's affecting my performance!"
Mia was speechless.
So that's why he was so eager to go out.
But thinking about it.
Since they were developing a long-term relationship, they would inevitably be sleeping together often.
That small bed was fine when she slept alone.
But now there were two of them, especially with all the lovemaking.
When her finances were tight, she'd bought that bed and the quality wasn't great.
And James couldn't control himself around her.
When things got going—
She remembered last Saturday, their last time on the bed, that noise.
She was afraid the neighbors upstairs and downstairs would knock on the door to complain.
Thinking of this, Mia immediately nodded in agreement.
Getting in the car, James drove to a large mall not far from the apartment complex.
With a clear goal, James didn't waste time and went straight with Mia into a bed brand store.
It was peak shopping hours at the mall, and this brand store's beds had always sold well.
As soon as they walked in one after the other, someone came up to introduce products to them.
James declined the sales assistant's introduction.
He looked at Mia and suggested, "Want to try them?"
This brand's beds had no issues with quality or materials.
He valued efficiency.
Buying a bed meant buying one that was comfortable to sleep on.
"Okay."
On this point, Mia and James were completely in sync.
No amount of talking beat lying down to test if it was comfortable.
Agreeing with James, Mia started picking beds.
Soon, she selected one.
Mia lay down directly on it, feeling it was very good.
"You try it, this one's nice."
Mia was about to get up to let James lie down and try it.
Unexpectedly, before she could get up, James had already pressed down beside her.
Mia lay back down, and James didn't press directly on top of her.
After she lay back, he nimbly rolled over, lying beside her. With one long arm he scooped her into his embrace, holding her as they rolled twice on the bed.
After testing it in this unique way, James propped himself up on both sides of Mia's body.
He commented seriously, "Indeed nice. Quiet, sturdy enough. This one?"
"Get up!"
In broad daylight, he was truly shameless.
Pushing James away with her hand, Mia sat up from the bed, trying hard to ignore others' suggestive looks, and said to the sales assistant standing nearby, "We'll take this one."
James knew Mia's current attitude.
This was furniture for her home, she didn't need him to pay.
So he didn't take out his card, just followed behind Mia, watching her swipe her card.
He was completely at ease.
But when Mia was signing, the sales assistant gave James a meaningful glance.
Looked well-dressed, but surprisingly, letting a woman pay.
Mia looked up after signing and saw the sales assistant's overly obvious expression.
She'd been a bit annoyed with James just now, but now couldn't help curving her lips, turning to look at James behind her like watching a good show.
This incredibly wealthy man usually only had others mistaking people around him for being kept.
Being mistaken for the opposite was probably a first in James's life.
Mia had thought James would be angry, but unexpectedly, James standing behind her looked completely unbothered.
Mia was speechless.
The sales assistant was also shocked!
You really can't judge a book by its cover!
The sales assistant looked away, turning to Mia who had paid, and asked politely, "Ms. Wilson, when should we deliver?"
"Now!"
James answered first, stepping forward half a step to pull Mia into his arms, adding, "We need to use it tonight."
Mia was speechless.
She shot James a warning look, telling him to tone it down.
This James was truly shameless.
James tightened his grip, pulling Mia even closer.
His head lowered slightly, thin lips against her ear, whispering in a voice only they could hear, "Don't you want to have a good time tonight?"
