Chapter 9

They were two of the vampires who attacked me in the forest. They were obviously surprised to see me and even tried to rush towards me. But Alpha Dior suddenly grabbed their necks tightly and lifted them up.I could clearly see his anger towards the two vampires. Fire was burning in his eyes at that time.

The two vampires could not move because of what he had done and it was as if they were slowly losing their breath.

"No one can hurt my mate!"he said angrily. 

He suddenly let go of the two vampire women's necks and they fell to the floor. They held their necks and gasped while looking at him evilly.

"Why are you looking at me like that? Do you really want to witness your death at my hands?!” his eyes sparkled in anger as he said this.

“That woman is just deceiving you! She's just deceiving you!”a woman shouted.

He slapped the woman hard and looked at me. Our eyes met and I didn't realize that I was nervous because of what the woman said.

"Do you believe what that woman is saying, Alpha?" I asked him seductively.

"No," he answered directly.

"Why should I believe that woman's slander against you? Do you think I would trust an enemy, Crema?” he asked calmly.

He came to me and held my hand. I was actually trembling but I tried to stop it because he might feel it. I had to be careful especially knowing that these vampires in front of me seemed to know something.Why did the woman say that I'm just deceiving the Alpha? Why does she know?

The woman laughed loudly and pointed at Alpha Dior. She always said that I was just deceiving the Alpha so I couldn't stop myself from approaching her and slapping her.

Alpha Dior was surprised by what I did but I know he understood where that anger was coming from. He brought his face closer to me which made me smell the scent of his breath.

"Do you want to kill them yourself?" he whispered and handed the sword to me. 

"You can use it, Crema," he added.

My whole body trembled at what he said. 

Suddenly the murder he did to my parents came to my mind. I took the sword while looking at his eyes. I felt full of anger and hatred when I saw his burning eyes. He is a demon in my eyes.

I held the sword tightly and it was as if I wanted to kill him at that moment. What I was thinking at that moment was unknown to him and everyone. But I could not kill these two vampires without having a fair fight in front of wolves.

"This is not what I want, Alpha," I said. 

"What do you want to happen, Crema?" he asked me.

"I want to have a fair fight," I answered seriously and returned the sword to him. 

"What do you mean?" he asked again. 

"Release them one by one to fight me fairly, Alpha" I ordered.

They were very surprised by what I said. The wolves that surrounded the gathering retreated to give us space. Alpha Dior hesitated to grant me what I wanted. But I became insistent because I wanted to test my strength again as one of them.As one of the powerful wolves. 

"Are you sure about that, Crema? I don't want you to get hurt," he asked worriedly.

"Don't you trust my ability to fight, Alpha?" I asked him sarcastically.

"I will not be defeated, Alpha. I will not be defeated!" I added firmly.

He gasped at what I said and was forced to give in. The space they gave us was wide. They released a vampire woman and she smiled proudly at me. I took a deep breath and prepared myself for the attack. I have won several fights in the field of boxing. But this is new to me because I will not only use my fist to fight. My opponent is not just a normal human so I have to think that I am not a normal human. I am one of them,I am a wolf.

She started the first attack and I was quickly able to escape from her scratch. I bent down and attacked her stomach side and succeeded in injuring her.She was writhing in pain so I took advantage of the opportunity to attack one after another.

I  threw her to the side and the wolves watching us quickly left the area.

I smiled sarcastically and scratched her face again and it became bloody. I punched her stomach and grabbed her neck tightly and lifted her up.

"All of you will witness the death of this woman!" I shouted and proceeded to take her life.

This is the second time I felt the strange strength I had again. The wolves watched us and applauded. I saw Alpha Dior stand up from where he was sitting.I raised my two fists to claim the victory. But my fight did not end here.

They released the second vampire and suddenly she rushed at me. I was hit by her scratch and I grabbed my cheek. I looked at Alpha Dior and there was a trace of worry on his face.

This woman can't beat me so I rushed at her. She was so fast and she immediately dodged my attack. Everyone was silent as they focused their attention on watching our Intense fight.

I always keep telling myself that I can't be defeated because this woman has to pay for the damage she did to me in the eyes of the Alpha.I just let her attack so I could study her movements.I dodged her punches and scratches as much as I could. Until I had the chance to bite her behind. He screamed when I bit her back. I grabbed her hair from behind and pulled her back hard and quickly ran towards the wall and hit it hard.

The other side of that wall split because of the force of the blow I made on her head. The vampire woman was bloodied and lifeless.Everyone was silent for a moment as if they were amazed at what I did.

It was a few seconds before they applauded my victory in the match. At that time, Alpha Dior came to me to congratulate me on my victory.

“Amazing! I made the right choice when I chose you as my mate," he said with a smile.

"I can protect myself, Alpha," I replied to him.

We smiled at each other and little by little I felt the softening of my feelings. His bright eyes gave me a unique connection.

A feeling that I shouldn't have felt.And I realize that It was not just myself I should protect. I guess I should also protect my feelings.

I immediately avoided his glaring looks at me. My eyes caught Aries and I didn't notice that he had been looking at me for a while. I smiled at him and Alpha Dior noticed the way we were both looking at each other so I immediately avoided him.

I said goodbye to rest because I was too tired after the fight.He volunteered to take me to my room.And I agreed with him as we walked together in the corridor to my room.

It took a few minutes before we reached the front door. I said goodbye to him but I noticed the way he looked at me was like he wanted to tell me something. I didn't hesitate to ask him and I couldn't help but laugh at his answer.
