Chapter 21

"Do you really want to harm yourself, Crema?!" he asked firmly.

"Why is it so hard for you to listen to me? Why don't you understand that I only think about you?!" he added.

I bravely turned my back and faced him. I smiled sarcastically and told him that I can protect myself. It's up to him if he wants to protect me. I must admit that I did it on purpose to make him submissive to mine.

I know he will do everything just to win my heart and accept him as a mate. But I make sure that won't happen because I will just play with him until I see him suffer and hurt.

 At night, I thought about what the vampire man said to me before Alpha Dior appeared in front of us. I thought about his offer.Did he know I was betraying the Alpha?

Suddenly, someone knocked on the door of my room. Alpha Dior appeared in front of me and we stared at each other. He apologized for raising the tone of his voice earlier.

"I'm sorry if I raised my voice at you earlier. I hope you understand me,Crema," he said.

"Well,I understand but I hope you understand that I don't want anyone to control me, even you, Alpha," I replied firmly.

"Yes I understand and like I said I have a lot of respect for you. Just tell me so that when I'm not busy I will come with you. I just wanted to protect you because I don't want us to be like other mates," he explained.

I smiled at what he said and nodded. It was very easy for me to soften and tame the heart of a demon like him in just one blink of an eye. He thought maybe he could make me believe the kindness he showed just to make me agree to be his mate. He doesn't know that I know his true conscience.

"Well! He will wait for nothing until death. "Little by little mother, father. I can give justice to your death," said my mind.

"Hey! are you okay? are we okay now?" he asked.

"Uhmm, yes, I answered.

He smiled at what I said and invited me to dinner. I agreed to his desire to eat with him. We walked down the corridor towards the dining room. He helped me to sit before he sat next to me. There were many foods prepared on the table and bottles of blood that we wolves needed. I had long accepted to myself that I was one of them since I decided to enter their world. 

Everyone had a good time but one woman caught our attention and that was Dylan's wife,Romania. She was widowed early because the night they were together she also lost her mate.

I immediately approached her because I felt pity as a woman. She was crying so I hugged her tightly. I said goodbye to Alpha so that we would go out first so I could talk to her. I invited Romania to the Tower to breathe.She also got fresh air to make her calm down.

"Come with me so you can feel better," I said softly.

"Alright, thank you" she was still crying. 

When we arrived at the tower, I heard her breathing deeply. She was sobbing from crying and I caressed her back. I make her feel that everything will be okay.

"Just cry until you feel better," I said calmly.

"I know it hurts a lot because I've been through the death of a loved one. It's so painful that you just want to sleep and never wake up," I added.

"It's so painful, Crema. It's so painful because Dylan and I have many more plans. I want to start a family with him. But why did the Goddess take him back from me right away? Why?!" she asked me, crying.

I can't answer right away because I don't know the answer either. I don't know the answer why my parents were taken away from me too early. I only know one thing and that's only one person who caused all that and that is the merciless Alpha.Fate is unfair is really unfair to me.

"We can't control everything, Romania. All we can do is accept reality.There are times when time really tests us, so you should always be strong," I advised her.

"Why does everything have to happen? Why Dylan? Why not the others?!"she said emotionally.

"It was his destiny. He was destined to die that night. And I know it hurts you so much that he was suddenly left in the air. But there is nothing we can do because even though we have many questions as to why, we can't get back the things we lose," I answered.

I feel the pain she feels at that time. I feel so sorry but I can't do anything. The only thing I can do is listen and talk to her.

"Do you think Dylan will be happy to see you like that?" I asked.

"Don't be discouraged, Romania. You're not alone because I'm like you, but we have to move on with life," I answered.

"I will only remain silent when justice is done for his death!"she said emphatically.

I was very surprised to hear that from her. I could see myself in her at that time.

“But Alpha Dior did nothing! He didn't do anything, Crema!” he said emphatically and emotionally.

I gasped at what she said. I stroked her back and calmed her down. I promised her that I would help her get justice too.

She smiled at what I said and hugged me tightly. After a while we decided to go back inside the castle to rest.

When I entered the room I was still thinking about Romania. I understood where that pain was coming from. I felt her desire to get justice for her husband's death .I took a deep breath before lying on my bed. I was just staring at the ceiling at that time.

"Let go of me!!!" I shouted.

I tried to free myself from the rope that was tied to me. While mom and dad were mercilessly murdered by the Alpha in front of me.The Alpha smiled and looked at me and laughed loudly. His hands were bloody while laughing like a demon and I was very shocked and screamed at what he did.
