Chapter 17

"What are you talking about? I asked him curiously.

He just smiled at me and made me understand that word. I breathed a sigh of relief because I thought it was a ritual to make me his mate. I just laughed to myself but I didn't show it to him.

"I'm sorry if you didn't immediately understand the word I said" he said with a smile.

"But I want you to know that's true," he added.

I smiled at him and suddenly a Guard came and called him. He said goodbye to me and I nodded to him. But I thought of following him to find out what was going on. I slowly walked out of the Castle and there I saw Alpha talking to a beautiful woman.She's so beautiful that she's like an angel that fell from the sky. I just saw this woman now. I can't help but feel jealous and ask myself who she is.

I quickly hid behind the wall while listening to their conversation in the distance. I closed my eyes to hear it properly. But Alpha Dior was too powerful for me to hear what he was saying. There was an energy that stopped me at those times.

I saw them go inside and walk down the corridor to the room where Aries was. Who is that woman? What does she mean by this?

I was restless while waiting for them to come out. I had to find a way to get into that room. I thought of using Martha as an excuse to worry. I was sure she was in there so I thought of bringing food so that I could enter the room. I took a deep breath while I was in front of the door. I knocked and after a few seconds the door opened. The very handsome face of Alpha Dior appeared to me.

"I brought food for Martha," I said.

"Martha is not here. She is in the kitchen to cook food for Aries,"Alpha Dior replied.

I felt shy but I didn't show it. I insisted on going in and placed the food on the side table. I saw the beautiful woman glance at me. I couldn't help but observe her from head to toe. Her beauty was undeniable. I'm not competing with her but I also don't want to lose because she might be the opposition to my plan.

 "Ahm, Crema, I want to introduce you to Aries' cousin, Aryana,"Alpha Dior introduced her with a smile.

"Aryana,Meet Crema,my soon to be Luna," he introduced me with a smile.

"Nice to meet you, Crema. I won't be surprised why Alpha Dior chose you,"she said with a smile.

"Uhmm, I just saw you here," I replied seriously.

"I am an Omega. I chose to live alone in a peaceful place. But when I found out about the condition of Aries,I dared to come here,"she said gently.

I just found out that Aries is her cousin. But I don't know why I was annoyed by her soft voice. I didn't make it obvious because I didn't want to be bad in Alpha Dior's eyes. 

"Why did you choose to stay away from your cousin? Do you think this place is not peaceful?" I asked firmly.

"It's not like that, Crema,"she answered. 

"Omegas are like that. Only a few of them choose to be with their pack. They are independent and even though they are in a low class, they believe that they can protect themselves,"Alpha Dior explained.

"Does that mean you don't have to protect her?" I asked.

"Yes, but if she needs help. I'm always here to help her," he replied with a smile. 

My blood warmed at what I heard from him.I tried to hold it back because I knew I shouldn't feel it. Martha came in with a food tray and was obviously surprised to see me inside with Aryana and Alpha Dior.

"You're here too, Crema,"she said, smiling.

I saw how Martha took care of Aries. She fed him because Aries had difficulty moving. But I saw Aries simply glance at me. I immediately looked away from him and looked at Aryana. I caught how she looks at Alpha Dior and I'm disgusted. 

After a while, Aryana said goodbye and Alpha Dior volunteered to take her. But she refused, so he just took Aryana outside the gate of Wound woods.

As the days passed, Aries gradually recovered and Alpha Dior was busy training the members of his pack because they also had to be ready at all times for the possible onset of the enemies at any time.They should be ready and active wolves that have undergone intense training.

"Let's always be prepared for the possible attack of our enemy. I don't want anyone to die like what happened to Dylan and his group.We will not be defeated by anyone or anything we fight against," he said seriously in front of his pack.

"Do we understand each other?!" he said in a loud voice.

"Yes, Alpha,"the wolves replied boldly.

The forces of the Bloody scar pack were strengthened even more. The guarding of the entire castle became more strict.So I became more careful with my actions. 

"Where are you going, Crema?" Alpha Dior asked me.

 "Ahm, I'll help Martha prepare food for the gathering later, Alpha," I answered.

"You shouldn't worry anymore. Let Martha and the other Arwanas prepare food for later," he said calmly.

"I still want to help, Alpha. I also want to learn about other chores here inside the castle," I insisted.

"If that's what you want, I won't stop you any longer. As long as you get tired, stop immediately and leave the work with the arwanas," he said seriously. 

I nodded to him and smiled. I went to the kitchen to help Martha and the arwanas prepare food. The arwanas were assigned to cook inside the castle. The werewolves who chose to be a maiden and would never look for their mate.

"You're here, Crema. What are you doing here?" Martha asked.

"I want to help, Martha," I answered with a smile.

“Oh! No need because we can do it. You don't have to worry because the Arwanas are here," Martha refused.

"In fact, we are almost done," Martha said with a smile.

I gasped at what she said. But I heard the two Arwana women talking. I heard what they said and my blood warmed when I heard it.

"It is said that Abi Aryana, Aries's beautiful cousin, will be coming here. She will definitely like it. This food is her favorite so I am excited about her reaction,"a woman said.

“Do you think Alpha Dior and her have a chance? I think Abi Aryana deserves to be Luna compared to the woman Alpha Dior just met. We don't know the true intention of that woman. I think I have more trust in Abi Aryana than her,"a woman replied.

I want to scold them very finely because of my anger. I never thought I would hear that from them. They are actually gossiping right in front of me. They are shameless!

I didn't realize that when I was staring at the food they made, it was on fire.The cake they made was burned and they were both shocked.What kind of power is this?

I immediately left and while I was walking in the Corridor I met Alpha Dior.He looked at me and smiled but he wondered why I was walking out of the corridor and ignored him.

"I thought you would help Martha prepare the food," he said.

I want to slap him over and over again because my blood is really hot for him while I think Aryana is coming here.

I just ignored him and just kept walking.

I don't want to join the gathering later. I don't want to see that woman again. 

"Crema,are you mad again? What have I done wrong to you?" he asked calmly.

"No,Alpha," I answered.

I quickly walked towards my room. When I closed the door, I also took out my crispy skin.

"That motherfucker! She will really be an obstacle to what I'm planning to do with the Alpha!" I said angrily.

I'm sure when she joins the gathering, Alpha's attention will be divided. I want Alpha to pay attention only to me because if he happens to be close to that woman, it will be difficult for me to make him fall in love and tame him,"I said emphatically to myself.

"What if Aryana took him away from me? The position should be mine!,"I added.

I thought about going out of the castle and running away.I just wanted to breathe and have an escape from my negative thoughts. The guards were busy gambling so they didn't realize I was out. I returned to the peaceful place in the middle of the forest. I know we were attacked by a vampire once so I have to be more vigilant this time. I always prepare myself for any fight. Suddenly I smelled a strange smell.And I was surprised when a man suddenly appeared in front of me.
