I know telling the kids everything took a toll on her mentally and emotionally. We were in the kitchen of the main house looking at them. We don't know what they'll do or what they'll say . We sat looking at them. I could only pray that my Four kids had some of thr sympathy, Caring, kindness amd forgiveness that their mother had ,because if they didn't then the family would be divided.
“ They look like they're having a discussion, at least I don't see arms waving and any of them pacing up and down” Bennett said, taking a swig from his glass.
“ I'm more worried about Mia and Maya “ she said, looking at me.
“ Have a bit more faith in your kids. I get that we'resll hoy Headed idiots that can go off the deep end and get pissed off for thr smallest of things but, They were raised right,they had all of us yo raise them yhe right way. we'll know if it paid off soon Same and Eric are back”. Leah said, looking at us. We stood up and saw Sam park the pick up and Eric got out. Sam headed into the house and Eric went back to them and they continued swimming as if nothing happened.
“ Well ,I guess we'll wait “. Allie said.
I feel like barbeque and beer tonight it's Saturday “. Tia said standing up.
“ Mom ?”.
“ Yes Maya?”.
“ Can we have a barbeque tonight?”.
“ Your aunt was just talking about that “.
“ Okay. Umm can someone keep Eric busy for a while. We want to talk to uncle Sam for a few minutes, it's nothing to worry about we just want to reassure him that we're not mad”.
I looked at my niece. I guess Leah was right. We should have more faith in our kids.
“ Send him along with Ben and Cyrus. Tell them I'm making a store run for the barbeque. They'll come “. Leah said.
“ Thanks Aunt Leah”.
The three left with Leah and we looked at all of them walking over to Sam's place. I texted him to let him know they were headed there. We saw them walking into the house. We didn't see anyone running out and acting like they were about to lose their shit. After what felt like forever they came out and went home.
We all looked at each other. “ I'll start making lunch. Dominic,send Mia over to help “. Tia said, looking at me. I understand she wanted me to talk to her.
“ Bennett Send Maya over too. They need to start learning to cook". Allie said.
We left the women and headed home. As I walked through the door she was coming down the stairs. She sat down on the stairs and looked at me. I guess Tia knew she would want to talk. I sat next to her but didn't say anything.

“ Sam regrets a lot of things sweetie. There's one thing I am absolutely sure about is Sam would and will do anything to protect your mom, all of your aunts and you and Maya”.
“ We decided Eric shouldn't know and he won't from us ,but we feel he should know at some point. He's a bit too young yet but at some point he needs to know dad because if anyone Find out then they'll laugh in his face and call uncle Sam Names “.
I kissed her head. “ We know princess. We'll be waiting for him to turn sixteen. Your mother and aunts need you to help make lunch “.
“ Okay, I'll head over”. She said walking off the stairs and out the door.
I didn't have to turn around to know Gideon was standing at the top of the stairs. I guess now I knew how Tia felt when I was looking at her
“ you can come down Gideon she's gone “.
“ How did you know I was standing there?”.
“ Because I could feel you looking at me that's the way your mother knows when I'm looking at her also .how do you feel about everything ?”. He sat next to me.
“ Honestly Dad, I just see him the same . I've always seen the way he watches out for all of us even when he doesn't have to. I just feel bad that he had to grow up like that and then he lost the one person that cared about him. I'm happy that Mom is who she is and she forgave him so he could have a second chance, he's happy with Aunt Amy and honestly it doesn't matter anymore like Mia said , it's in the past no one has to bring it up anymore just one question “.
“ What is it ?”.
“ They knew? Grandpa and Grandma . I mean about the rape and everything ?”.
“ Yes they know . When Alyssa and your great-grandmother paid him to kill your mother, he called us. He called your mom and he told her that he was paid to kill her. Your grandfather offered him Fifty million to save your mom. Everyone thinks he took the money.no one knows ,not even.

“ Yes I was but I was worried for 10 seconds because I could see in Sam's eyes he really regretted it and he was trying to make it right anyway he could. so I let your mother have her way. when you're Aunt Amy told him she was in love with him he was freaking out ,he didn't know what to do so I told him this was the second chance to take it since he and Amy got together he's become so different and when Eric was born he's completely a different person”.
“ But Sam Can and will always be what he is and he would do anything to protect his family especially you kids all of you. you're the first one that called him uncle you could barely speak and you call him uncle since the day Sam got here he has been a part of this family and he will continue to be a part of this family . The reason we told you all of you is because we didn't want you finding out from someone else and going off the deep end. I know you have an attitude on your Gideon .Amy was worried about what would happen when you found out. I guess we don't have anything to worry about”.
“ It's okay dad, we don't really care about it, it's all in the past . He's still the same person to us. What's going to happen now are we still housebound?”.
“ Well let's see what happens on Monday your mom and your aunts have everything under control “.
“ Okay I'm heading over to Richy's, we're going to go play Xbox “.
“ Lunch is in an hour, remember to come over here to the main house “.

“ Where are those two ?”.
“ Zeke and Cyrus are with Aunt Leah . Dad those two are computer geeks just like Aunt Leah ,or They're over on their side of the house doing god knows what “.
