I called everyone I knew but no one was willing to help. some of them even disconnected the call, even my so called fucking friends. The same friends I took on vacation and bought lavish gifts for ,the same ones I helped get their businesses started. Wait until I get back on top, I'll deal with all of them accordingly. By the end of day three I returned to my father's office defeated.
“ So ?”.
“ No one is willing to help , some of them said wrong number,so disconnected ,not even our so-called friends that we had lavish dinners with. I guess we can only hope Mr Anderson will buy us out with a good amount and they'll handle the debt. He picked up the phone. “ Roman,put A&C shares on the market. I'll give up forty and keep ten. Melinda will give up Forty also. Let me know how it goes by the end of the day, anyone that can afford it can have it“. He put the receiver down and looked at me.
I was not giving up my fucking lifestyle. I had a few millions tucked away,but that won't last me a year.I'll have to give up everything I have for now. Once I get rid of that Bitch and her children, Dominic will be mine and then my life will be normal again. I was cleaning out my office,I heard the commotion and went out.
“ What the hell is happening here?”.
“ Ms Archer the employees are quitting by the droves. They said A&C is going under and they don't want to be left unemployed, they're demanding to be paid “.
“ Everyone listen ,A&C will recuperate ,just give us some time”.
I tried talking to them but no one listened. In the end we had no choice but to inform HR to pay them. I found dad cleaning his office. “ Dad, we can't accept this “.
“ It's done ,as we speak, company shares are being sold, The cars were sold,so were the houses, in Venice, The Alps, Aspen, The New York penthouse and the villa we recently bought “.
No “ Then where will we stay”.
“ Your mother already found a two bedroom apartment for us”.
“ No , I won't stay in a crappy apartment. I'm an executive of A&C ,I have an image to up keep”.
“ You're no longer an executive. I'm no longer CEO. Vance called a few minutes ago. Eighty percent of the company belongs to random people now. The ones with the majority of shares will become board members. We have to find a way for them to appointment me or you as CEO “.
“ Okay, When's the board meeting?”.
“ In two Days”.
When I got down to the garage my car was gone. I looked at my father. I got so mad at him that I left Him and went to a hotel to Stay. I refuse to stay in some shabby apartment meant for poor people. I was Melinda Archer and I deserved to live a rich life. For two days I stayed at the plaza hotel relaxing and enjoying the good life.
When I walked into the A&C global building on Monday, everyone just ignored me. “ How dare you people ignore me. I am Melinda Archer “. They just walked away. These people used to be afraid to look at me now they just stared. Wait until I get control of A&C again I'll teach them all a fucking lesson and put them where they deserve to be , which was under my feet.
I found dad in his office, looking haggard and tired. “ The meeting is about to start, let's go”. He said tiredly. When we walked into the Conference room, Two women and a Man were sitting there. They looked familiar but I couldn't place them. I just pushed the thoughts aside.
“ Anderson “.
My Dad said, looking at the man.
“ Jasper. I asked you to let me buy you out, you would have remained as CEO but you wouldn't now look at the situation.”
“ Is this everyone?”. I asked
“ No ,I hold thirty percent of the company, there's someone missing. My god daughter should be here in a few minutes, she has shares also. Hopefully she let you continue to run the company” . Anderson said.
I took a seat and so Did Dad. He could no longer sit at the head of the table. I saw the door push open but it wasn't Who I was expecting.

I walked in with Jason behind me and took a seat at the head of the table.
“ YOU?”.
I looked at her. “ Now A&C belongs to me. I'm sure my God father told you he holds thirty percent and you two combined have Twenty which makes me the CEO with a majority of fifty percent. You two aren't needed”.
“ You can't do that, ” She yelled. I simply smiled.
“ Didn't I warn you not to go ahead with that plan you were forming?. You decided to send men to my home to assassinate me ,my children,my sister and her kids, Tsk tsk tsk tsk”.
“ I don't know what you're talking about”. I could see the fire in her eyes and her father looked worried.
“ Oh that anthrax and cyanide was brilliant but I'm not quiet either. Did you actually think I would sit back and watch you or anyone try to hurt my family?”.
“ You'll pay for this. You set fire to our warehouse.this is all your doing “.
“ Can you prove that?. If I didn't spare my own grandmother when she decided to come after me, what made you think nothing would happen?. You see people like you,like to go straight for the throat but me, I chop you down limb from fucking limb. I'm only halfway there so try as you might you won't be able to touch me. Now get the fuck out before I have Jason drag you out “.
“ You Bitch give my father his company back ”
“ I'll return it on one condition “. I said smiling.
“ What?”. She was so fucking rude. I guess being pampered all her life made her forget that the world was a mean and dangerous place.
“ Apologize, Publicly. I want you and your parents to get down on your knees before the entire Chase family and apologize publicly for everything you did and admit to everything you did”.
“ We should grovel before you?”. She yelled
She jumped up and made a dash for me. Jason grabbed her pushing her against the wall. “ Now both of you listen and listen carefully. Don't try anything else or you'll end up dead. As for my kids,my niece and nephew try fucking around with them and I'll skin you afucking alive “.
“ Anderson you knew about this?, Greystone will suffer just like we have “. Jasper said.
“ Oh Jasper . I don't own Greystone anymore. Before my god daughter became the daughter-in-law of the chase family, I sold greystone to The chase family. The Jaques family businesses are all run by Tia. Did you actually think threatening Marcus and Elizabeth was a good idea?. They went straight to Collin and me. Dominic and Bennett are ruthless but Tia and Allie are demons “.
“ Uncle Anderson, You, Jess and Mel have control over A&C . Do ask you please it's my gift to you three. Now excuse me. My babies are waiting for me”.
I stood up and looked at them . “ Keep playing around and you'll understand Why I am Who I am. I will not hesitate to kill you. Do you see How easy it was to take your company away?, taking your lives will be much easier “.
I walked out with Jason behind me. They could cry and moan all they want. I was in control now. Sam and Leah already knew what to do. I sent Sam after Cassandra. I would pay her a visit tonight.
