This girl really was something else; she won't stop.
“Look, whatever happened between you and Dominic was before me. Alyssa, I honestly have nothing against you. Officers like Mr. Chase said she came to my office and assaulted me, then she came to our home this morning at seven and created a ruckus, and I'm sure she was in some way involved with my accident. I've spoken to her maybe twice, but that's it. The officers looked at her.
“Miss Jacques, do you wish to proceed with this issue?”.
“No”
"Ms. Sommers, Mr. Chase, would you like to press charges for the assault?”
"No, I'm willing to let this go as long as she stays away from me.".
“Very well then, Ms. Jaques; kindly leave.”.
She made a show before leaving, and the officers just looked at us.
“We're sorry, Mr. Chase, Miss Sommers.”. After they left, I just stood there. I wouldn't be able to keep this a secret for long. The entire building would find out, and then the rumors would follow me.
“Tia??” I looked at him.
"WWhat's Wrong?”,
“Everyone's going to find out, then the rumors are going to start."
“I'll handle it, babe; don't worry about it.”.
"I'm going to head back down; it's almost twelve.”.
“Okay, be careful and call me if you need help or don't feel good.". I just nodded.
When I got back down to my office, Tatiana and the others showed up five minutes later. I called Tatiana into my office.
"Close the door!". She did what I told her to do and then took a seat.
“What's wrong? Are you okay?” I looked at her.
"I'm telling you this because I trust you and only you, and I know if I tell you to keep it a secret, you will. The rumors are true; Mr. Chase and I are together; his parents also know." She looked at me and smiled.
"I knew it; everyone else just thinks it's a rumor,but I saw the way Mr. Chase reacted when you were hurt.”.
“No one else should know; is that understood?” ,
“And no one will not come from me at least."
"OOkay”. I continued working on the papers. I got so lost in it that I didn't hear someone knocking on my door. When I looked up, Bennett was standing there.
“Mr. Chase, what can I do for you?"
“Yeah, maybe not by calling me Mr. Chase?” ,
“In this building, you're Mr. Chase; outside, you're Bennett, so what can I do for you?”.
“ Dominic Just called me; he's working late; it's almost five; I'll drop you home."
“Thank you, Bennett, but you didn't need to. I would have called Mel. I don't want to trouble you and your family.”.
“Yes, my wife has already called me, and so has my mother to make sure I get you home safe; they're working a bit late too.”.
“Okay, then I won't keep you waiting.”. I closed my laptop and grabbed my bags. He took them from me.
“ Bennett I can carry my bags.”.
“I know,”. Everyone had already gone; only Tatiana remained.
"You're still here; I thought you left with the others.”
"Um, no, I just kind of wanted to make sure you were okay and that you left.”.
“Thank you, Tatiana. Mr. Chase here came to escort me home."
“Okay, then I'll leave also.”. She grabbed her bag and then took mine from Bennett.
"What are you doing?”.
“I'll take her bags down.”. I just shook my head. We got down to the garage, and she made sure I was okay. Bennett was quiet on the drive to his parents' place. His phone rang. “Are you okay, Tia?”
“I'm fine; just Alyssa won't stop."
“What do you mean?”. I told him what happened during lunch and saw his face change.
When we pulled up to the house, he helped me get out, and Elizabeth came out to meet me.
"How are you, sweetheart?”
“I'm okay; thank you, Elizabeth.”.
“Mom, where's Dad?"
“He's in his office.”. He left us and walked into the house. She looked at me.
"WWhat happened? Why is he angry?”. I explained to her what happened, and she also got angry.
“I spoke to your mother earlier today, and she'll be here this weekend, so we can all talk it out and finalize yours and Dominic's engagement.”.
“Okay, and thank you.”. She helped me to my room. And I just laid in bed. I felt tired.
Dominic
Alyssa was up to some shady sh*t. I had some stuff to take care of, and Bennett volunteered to take her home. He was calling.
"What the fuck did Alyssa do? She accused Tia of assault.”
I'm guessing she told him he probably asked her. I explained what happened.
"Son, we need to figure this out,"
“We will; where is she?"
"Mom took her to her room." I ended the call and hurried up with my work. By seven, I was finished. I closed my laptop and left. When I got home, my parents were sitting outside.
“Where is she?" “She fell asleep when she came home; she's probably tired; I didn't wake her up. Today probably drained her. We'll wait until she's awake to have dinner.”.
"OOkay”. When I walked into our room, she was asleep in her work clothes. She didn't shower. I locked the door and switched on the lights. And I sat next to her. God, she was perfect; she looked so peaceful sleeping. I brushed her face gently, and the minute her eyes opened and she saw me, she smiled. Fuck, she was getting into my heart a little at a time.
“You fell asleep?”
“I guess, so what time is it?"
“A bit over seven.”. She sat up and looked at me.
“Why don't I give you a bath, and then we'll have dinner with my parents?"
"OOkay!”.
"I got her off the bed and took her to the bathroom. I stood behind her and started taking off her dress, and my hands accidentally brushed the side of her breasts, and I heard the hitch in her breath.
“Baby, would you think badly of me if I told you that I need to fuck you right now?”
"No, I want you too; I always do.”.
She was open and honest with me. Thank you, Alyssa; if you hadn't hurt her, she wouldn't be here, and she wouldn't be this willing.
