I couldn't help but smile inwardly. After detective Ryan said he would be coming. I waited until Tia left the room and made a call to Caius. I told him not to mention it to anyone,but to find those two idiots and shoot them ,not to kill them but to make them understand. I guess Caius was precise . Might as well pay Caius to work for me. He already works for Sam,A little more incentive would be good for him. I looked at agent Craig.
“ Well I suggest you find out who is shooting at police officers,as it's not anyone sitting here”.
“ Look. I just want to know if you or anyone of your family members knows the location of Bartholomew Tristan and Kimberly Colthrap?”.
Everyone said no .
“ See ,I know that is the truth but there's Also something hidden behind your answers. Fine I'll let This go for now but I'll be back “.
We watched as he got back into his car and left. After we were Sure he was gone we let out a sigh of relief.
“ You had Caius do it didn't you?”. Sam asked, looking at me.
“ Yes. I figured that would be a good distraction from us. Look, we end this with Bartholomew and Kimberly. I don't need to see them or anything. If any of you chose to do this personally then that's okay but we end it with them. I need some semblance of Comfort and freedom in my life”. I said looking at them.
“ Anyone?”. Tia asked
No one answered “ I'll have Caius do it. They'll be cased as missing". Sam said
“ Okay “. Everyone said in unison.
Everyone drifted off to do whatever they wanted or had to do. We were sitting there when we heard screaming, I saw Mia running towards us. I couldn't stand up but Tia was already on her feet.
“ Mom , Grandpa Collin, hurry “. She yelled, turning around and running towards the main house. Tia took off running.

When she said dad . I couldn't think. I ran full speed to the main house, when I rushed into the living room,mom was on the floor,with dad's Head in her lap and she was crying. I dropped down onto the floor and began checking his pulse.
“ Mom What happened?”.
When I couldn't feel his pulse I began panicking. “ MIA CALL THE AMBULANCE".
“ I already did mom”.
I continued checking for his pulse but couldn't. No he couldn't be dead. I heard the other's running in, I heard the ambulance. I was in a daze, Mom just sat There crying. I began pumping his heart,but nothing. Mom grabbed my hand stopping me.
“ Tia".
“ No mom.”
I felt someone else grab my hand. Dominic looked at me and shook his head “ He's gone Tia “.
I heard the voices, I saw Mel leading the paramedics towards where we were. Gideon got me out of the way, while the paramedics tried to resuscitate him . After fifteen minutes they stopped and looked at us. “ I'm sorry but he's gone “.
I felt numb,sad ,anger,hurt and pain all at the same time. He was gone. I Lost Both of my fathers. My mother lost both of the men that she loved. I just held onto her and let her cry. I looked at the others. Mel , Cassie, Jess, Amy,Leah and Tatiana looked at me and nodded. They understood and I wouldn't be of much help to anyone at this point because my mother would need me.

The wake was being held at the main house. It's been Two days since his death was announced and everyone was showing up. Anderson was here and so were the people Collins met throughout his life. Mel , Allie and the rest of the family including mom and dad were handling the funeral arrangements. All Angela did was hold onto Tia and cry. She spent a majority of her life without him and Then she had so little time with him. The gunshot wound stopped me from walking around. I was sitting out back when I saw Sam and Caius heading towards me.
“ What's up?”
“ Sorry for your loss Mr Chase. It's done, they won't be found. This is a bad time for this to be happening but Sabrina Michael's Father is doing some digging, he met the Dean earlier today and all of their clues are pointing towards your family “.
“ For Fucks sake . What is wrong with these fucking people.My mother-in-law is inconsolable,my wife is busy taking care of her mother,and so is everyone else. Someone Is always on the road and we don't know who, when or where and we can't keep monitoring every single family member's movements every minute of the day”.
“ So what do you intend to do?”. Caius asked
“ Marica Tristan, Melissa Hanes and Peter Hanes , Daniel Colthrap. Richard and Florence Michael's . Those are the four that can cause some problems. What do you want to do Dominic?“. Sam asked, waiting for an answer. I thought about it for a few minutes.
“ Fuck it . Accidents happen so that's what will happen. Sam you and Caius have free rein,get inventive, Car crash, House fires, anything make it look like an accident also the Dean. It'll be hard for Agent Craig to pin it on anyone in the family seeing as we'll be busy with the funeral arrangements for my father-in-law “.
“ All within the week or one a week?". Caius asked
“ Well let the Hanes and the Michael's go together as a couple, actually the ones that are digging send them off first also the Dean , he's a loose end ”.
“ Okay, it'll be taken care of”. Caius said standing up after he left I looked at Sam.
“ How much do you pay him?". He smiled
“ A Fucking lot, that's for sure”.
“ Give him five million, I'll send it over to you. Cause they way shit seems to be going this family will need him and I don't want Amy ,Killing me if I have you doing that shit".
“ Don't let her know, She knows I speak to Caius but not about This stuff. She'll kill my ass and bury me right in this fucking compound. Incoming ”. He said, looking away. I saw her walking towards us. She sat down and opened a bottle of Wine and sat there drinking from the bottle.
“ Tia, are you okay?”.
“ I don't know. I've been busy consoling mom that I have had no time to grieve. She isn't eating and she won't sleep. All she does is cry”.
I could see that she was drained. Sam left and I sat with her as she drank. I saw Mia heading towards us. She came and put the plate of food down In Front of her mother and took the bottle of wine from her.
“ Eat first. You haven't eaten all day and neither has grandmother . Grandma, Maya and I will sit with Grandma Angela. You need to eat and sleep for a bit. The Auntie's and I will take care of it”. After saying that she walked away. Tia looked at the food and started crying.
I moved over closer to her and held her as she cried,she held onto me and cried and I let her. After she finished crying,I fed her and made sure she ate. She helped me over to our house. After a shower I got her into bed and tucked her in. Within minutes she was out, She really was tired.

Today was my father's funeral. The past Four days have been a rollercoaster of emotions for everyone. I slept a total of Maybe ten hours. Mom barely slept or ate and I was worried about her. The funeral service was a blur to me. Even when we got to the cemetery I was too busy taking care of my mother. That evening,she was in her room and I was sitting with her. She was extremely quiet and I didn't like that.
“ I love you Angela, You're my first love and my last love. Our daughter is happy and loved. When I meet Paul, I'll tell him thank you. Thank you for raising Tia to be a good woman and a good daughter. Tell my daughter I love her and I'm proud of her. That was what he said to me before he stood up and he passed out”.
I looked at her. “ I Loved Collins and I Loved Paul. I Loved them Both but Collins was always in my heart. I burried my feelings out of respect for Paul,but I guess Paul knew deep down that Collins would always be in my heart".
“ Mom”.
“ If we were Adamant and eloped then you wouldn't be here. Everything happens for a reason, their Is a design to everyone's life. All the trials you faced led you Here. Make the most of your life with your husband,be happy Tia,make the most of it with your children while you still can”.
“ I will Mom,I just need to know that you'll be fine , it'll take a while for you but I can't be happy knowing you're sad”.
She came over and sat next to me and held my hand. “ I'll be fine,death is something we can't avoid, it'll take some time but I'll be fine. I won't do anything crazy, I'll take this time to travel. We were about to tell you about our plans. I'll go for both of us".
“ Okay, I'll let you go but please know that I'm always here for you,we all are”.
“ I know sweetie. You've made me proud, you've made both Your father's proud. Your in-laws Love,care and respect you. You've become an amazing mother and wife and this was all we wanted for you".
“ I was raised by an amazing woman and an amazing man. When will you be leaving?”.
“ In a few days".
