Chapter 21

He brought me on his motorcycle to town, then I took a bus.

I sat on the backseat, holding onto his waist, resting my head against his back.

The thought of never seeing him again made me feel sad.

When getting on the bus, he asked me, "Will you be able to find your relatives when you go back?"

"Yeah," I lied.

At a time like this, which relative would still accept me?

"Then tell me, which relative's house are you going to? Give me the address, I'll look it up on the map."

"Just..." I thought for a few seconds. "Aunt who owns a salad dressing factory."

I gave him the name of that salad dressing factory, but it was just something I said without thinking.

Surprisingly, he actually checked it and looked at me seriously, saying, "That factory closed down two years ago."

"Ah? Then..."

"Rachel, don't lie to me."

I suddenly lost my energy. "Even I don't know which relative's house to go to. Just forget about me."

After saying that, I hurriedly tried to get on the bus, but he grabbed my hand.

"What are you doing?" I looked at his hand confusedly.

"Don't want to leave?" he asked me.

"Yeah." I lowered my eyes and nodded.

He fell silent for a minute, then took the luggage in my hand. "Then don't leave."
