Sharon just wanted to rush in, grab Alex, and question him about why he betrayed her!
However, after taking a few steps, Sharon felt like her strength was drained, and she stopped in her tracks.
The sight before her grew increasingly repulsive. Unable to stomach it any longer, she spun around, staggered to the door, hopped into her car, and sped off.
Passing by a bar on the street, Sharon parked and walked in.By the time Sophie Lee arrived, Sharon had already finished two bottles of whiskey, and her eyes were a bit glazed.
Sharon said, "Sophie, you're here."
Sophie sat down next to Sharon. "What's going on? Did Alex really cheat on you?"
Sophie was Sharon's college roommate and had witnessed their journey from campus to the altar.
Hearing Alex's name, Sharon's eyes darkened, and the heart-wrenching pain swept over her again.
"I don't want to hear his name right now." She downed her drink in one gulp.
For so many years, Sharon never thought Alex would betray her.
The moment she saw Alex and Ava in bed, she felt despair and pain.
Watching Sharon down glasses as if she had a death wish, Sophie couldn't resist yanking the glass from her grasp. "Even if he had a affair, you shouldn't punish yourself by getting drunk. What are you planning to do next?"
Sharon said, "Of course, divorce. Just thinking about him in bed with that woman makes me feel sick."
Seeing Sharon's red eyes and the resentment in them, Sophie felt heartbroken. "Don't think about it for now. You need to rest and calm down before deciding what to do. I'll take you home."
Sharon shook her head. "No, I don't want to go back."
Seeing her resistance, Sophie didn't insist. "Then I'll book you a hotel."
After booking the hotel, Sophie took Sharon to the hotel entrance and asked worriedly, "Are you sure you don't want me to take you up?"
Sharon shook her head. "No, you go rest."
She waved the room card at Sophie and walked towards the hotel.
Seeing Sharon's steady steps, Sophie finally sighed in relief and drove away after watching her enter the hotel.
Holding the room card, Sharon walked out of the elevator. As soon as she stepped on the carpet, her legs went weak, and she almost fell.
Supporting herself against the wall, she managed to stand up and rubbed her aching temples as she walked and looked for the room number.
However, at this instant, the intoxication arose, and Sharon couldn't see things clearly. When she saw the number '8919', she placed the room card directly on the door.
Unaware of the door opening, she furrowed her brow, poised to push it, when it abruptly swung open.
Sharon was stunned for a moment and didn't react when a big hand pulled her into the darkness.
As the door closed, the light outside was cut off.
She was pressed against the door, and Seb Smith's aggressive breath sprayed on her ear, making her shiver involuntarily.
A familiar scent of pine wood hit her, and Sharon felt the smell was familiar.
However, before she could react, a warm touch came to her lips.
Realizing what was happening, Sharon struggled.
However, Seb was strong, and with the amount of alcohol she had consumed, her hands on Seb's chest were weak, making her actions seem more like a tease rather than resistance.
Seb's hot hands roamed her body, and where he touched it felt like it was burning, making Sharon's body go soft.
She wanted to push Seb off her, but he easily noticed her movements and pinned her hands above her head.
"Let go!" Sharon said.
Seb released her lips and chuckled, "No need for the act."His fingers touched Sharon's collar, making her shiver.Seb's body heat seemed to melt her, and her legs grew weaker.
In the darkness, all her senses were heightened.
Sharon could feel Seb's fingers unbuttoning her shirt. She felt parched, and the last bit of rationality told her that if this continued, things would get out of hand.
"Let go of me!" She used all her strength to push Seb, but he easily picked her up and threw her onto the bed.
The bed was soft, and Sharon didn't feel any pain. She struggled to get up, but a tall figure pressed down on her.Soon, her clothes were stripped off, and they were almost naked.
Seb pressed tightly against her, ready to go.
His warm breath made Sharon shiver uncontrollably.
She pushed against Seb's chest, biting her lip hard, forcing herself to stay awake and calm.
"Sir, I might have entered the wrong room. Please let go of me." Her voice trembled slightly, probably from nervousness.
Seb's voice was filled with impatience and coldness. "Are you playing hard to get?"
Just as Seb was about to rise and release Sharon, the room was abruptly bathed in light.
In her struggle, Sharon's hand had inadvertently flicked the light switch.
The sudden light made Seb squint. When he saw the terrified Sharon lying beneath him, his expression changed instantly.
At this moment, Sharon also saw Seb's handsome face.
Originally feeling a bit dizzy, she was now completely sober in shock.
She never expected the person she almost slept with to be Seb!
"Uncle Seb," Sharon said softly, her voice trembling.
Having just discovered Alex's infidelity, she now found herself in bed with Seb. How absurd it was!
Seb looked at Sharon's delicate face and glanced over her naked body, momentarily stunned.
The air around them seemed to freeze.
