Chapter 54 Writing Tyler's Name

Chapter 54 Writing Tyler's Name
"I grew up with her. I know her best," Addison said, annoyed.

Tyler scoffed. "No one truly knows her."

Addison hesitated, then nodded. "You might be right. I'll try asking her."

"She doesn't want pity," Tyler said flatly. "It was her choice."

"How can you say that?" Addison glared.

He turned away and raised a hand. "Show her out. Book a flight."

"No need. I regret coming here!" Addison yelled, jumping up.

Patrick calmly pulled out his phone. "Back to West City?"

"To Willow Creek."

Addison paused at the door, turning back in surprise.

"Got it!" Patrick nodded and walked toward her. "Sorry, Miss Adams, we're busy here. Shall I walk you to the door?"

He walked her to the door.

Addison turned and asked, "Are you guys going to London?"

Patrick nodded. "Yeah. Ellie has so many secrets, I'm shocked."

Addison handed him the large bag. "Could you take this to her for me?"

"What is it? Does it need to be checked in?"

...

At a cemetery in Willow Creek.
Patrick checked the grave number. "Why aren't they together?"
Tyler followed in silence, holding a bouquet as they walked through the cemetery.
Soon, they found the headstone of Ellie's parents.
Patrick stared, frozen at the headstone.
Tyler ordered, "Look it up."
Patrick immediately did as instructed.
"Carly Grace was her name before twelve. She changed it to Ellie with the Ward family," he said, scrolling.
"Oh my god! Her mom is a former Oscar-winning actress! That's incredible!"
"Go on."
"Her dad was great, too. Gave up his inheritance, came here with nothing, and led an industry," Patrick said, admiringly.
"Tragic. Car accident, ten years ago. Father's company was seized. Ellie was too young—everything lost," he sighed.
Tyler frowned.
"Oh-my!" Patrick exclaimed. "She won countless awards for her oil paintings!"
"Yes, she's exceptionally gifted."
"Those eyes!" Patrick showed Tyler his phone. "Never seen her like that."
Tyler saw those eyes, too—like blazing fire, like stars shimmering in the night, alive with pain and determination.
He looked away, jaw tense, his brow furrowed with a tangled wave of concern and unresolved feelings.
Patrick scrolled. "What did the Wards do to her? She changed so much, yet got into RCA! Remarkable."
"It's truly impressive." Tyler nodded.
"She's broke—why insist on such an expensive school?" Patrick asked.
"The communication is crucial for an artist."
Tyler watched the sky, eyes narrowed. What an ambitious girl! He walked on.
"I'll arrange it. Head to RCA for Mrs. Torres?" Patrick asked, hurrying after him.
"Don't call her that. She's not thinking about love now. Only how to win," Tyler said.
"Huh?"
"I'm flying to London. You go to Riverside Glen."
"Oh, my God! Why?"
"Transfer funds to Sunny City. Build a major exhibition hall for Mason—best location, build on site."
"Why not just give her the money? She needs it."
Tyler continued, "List the top ten gallery brands worldwide. Pick one to acquire."
"Alright."
"Didn't that aristocratic alliance want to get me? Just roll out our plan."
Patrick was stunned. "Wait, roll out the plan?"
"Put all your talent to work. Go ahead, bring them down!"
Patrick started to get excited. "Got it, Mr. Torres! It's finally my turn to show!"
Suddenly, Tyler paused and said, "Leave them a little breathing room. Don't drive them into bankruptcy."
"Why?" Patrick was puzzled.
"Let her deliver the final blow of revenge herself. Let her have her revenge!"
Riverside Glen——

"What the hell happened that day? I was running around West City on edge. Why didn't you reply to my messages?" Jerry asked, furious.

Patrick waved his hand. "I just finished. You didn't see it. Mr. Torres was ready to kill someone."

"What was it? Why wasn't I involved?" Jerry said, getting angrier.

"That was Mr. Torres's personal business."

"Huh?"

"A relationship issue."

Jerry was stunned. "Who? She even convinced Mr. Torres to let you trigger the highest-level emergency protocol, and you stormed into the confidential meeting room?!"

"It was a real emergency! Mr. Torres even gave her his phone password."

"Who on earth is she?"

Patrick shook his head. "A special girl. Mr. Torres loses all control around her. You'd be stunned."

Jerry grinned. "I know! It's the one from the cruise ship, right?"

Patrick froze, fear flashing in his eyes. "Wait! You mean..."

They looked at each other. Something unspoken hung between them, and an eerie silence, thick with tension, fell over the room.

Patrick broke the silence. "What happened between Mr. Torres and that woman?"

"They spent the whole night in the penthouse suite."

Patrick stared. "So, was everything in Sunny City just an act?"

"How far have Mr. Torres and that girl gone?" Jerry pressed.

"They're talking about marriage. He rushed over there to elope—it's a serious relationship!"

Jerry's eyes widened. "So, Mr. Torres has two? Is he defying the ancestral rules?"

Patrick rubbed his temples. "Let me think about this..."

"If he keeps dating two people, the Torres family will disown him! Their ancestral rules are strict! Jerry couldn't hold back any longer.

"I know! Stop yelling!"

"If Mr. Torres rebels, there'll be a showdown."

"So what?"

"Torres family or Mr. Tyler—which do you choose?"

"Say it together. I'll count three."

"Three, two, one!"

"Mr. Torres!"

They both exhaled, laughter mingling with relief, the tension dissolving, for now.
