Food for wolves

I muttered as I slowly approached her while my shield took more and more force on her .

"You can't beat me with a simple shield of protection , now you'll know who you're up against" .

I growl angrily as she turned to float away from me and take a couple of successful turns in the air , she placed her hands one on each side and began to spin at a mind boggling speed and suddenly everything around us stopped . I had no idea what was going on, but I did my best to keep the shield up.

"Confused , wait and watch as my wolf slowly rips your head off ."

I mutter , while a wicked grin was drawn on his face , in my few weeks of combat I had not faced a beast like this . Not only was he bold in combat , he had very powerful mystical abilities .

While the whole atmosphere seemed to have been encapsulated for a moment in time and space , I heard a loud hiss coming from the woman , and from one moment to the next the giant wolf with dragon-like features , which had dragged me through the forest quickly burst into the den and landed next to the woman .

"You intend to kill me , after our pleasant talk loyalty , I'm afraid you have completely disappointed me . I thought we could be more than rivals ."

I commented persuasively appealing to the woman's conscience .

"I like to work alone for a very specific reason , I don't like creatures who chatter so much ."

The sarcastic expression on her face , gave me the certainty that in her psychopathic mind would not fit any reason at that moment , and that she would only have the option to act defensively .

"It's time to say goodbye to this cruel world you once called home."

He said to me in a threatening manner , as he gestured with his eyes to the giant wolf and it flew towards me boldly trying to break the shield of protection that was keeping me safe at that moment .

I shouted bravely , while trying to withstand the attacks of the wolf towards the shield of protection that surrounded me and that I was struggling to maintain . The force that the wolf exerted on the shield was powerful and after several minutes I was exhausted from resisting .

"Surrender now , I'm kind of bored of your resistance . There is no creature that can resist the powers of my wolf ."

The wolf made an onslaught that caused my resistance to break and I could no longer contain the field and energy that protected me , I fell to the ground exhausted and ready to be devoured by that giant wolf with a dragon tail .

"I told you , after all you're just another neophyte , you're not special at all" .

I heard him say as I was lying on the ground , in vegetable mode trying to regain strength . I felt the wolf's muzzle sniff my whole body slowly , as I heard some footsteps coming towards me .

"What a waste , you are so beautiful that it provokes me to possess you . But I think it's best for you to be a snack of my wolf ."

He muttered close to me , and I heard the wolf growl and his panting breath on my jaw . In one gil move I hung on the wolf's head driving my fangs into its back and it hit a screech of pain that deafened my eardrums .

"How dare you bite my wolf like that , you will pay for everything you have done" .

The woman approached me and grabbed my shoulders to throw me to the ground with force .

"I told you I wouldn't give up , even if I lost my life . I will fight to the end just like Coyote taught me to do.

I said choppily as I gasped from the pain as I fell to the ground roughly .

"The coyote you said?"

The look of surprise in the woman's eyes upon hearing Domenicus' nickname awakened in me a sharp feeling of intrigue .

"The coyote , he is the captain of the team preparing for the war against Araticus" I explained curiously .

"Domeninus Hall , I remember him very well I was his trellisman for a couple of centuries . That man deserves my respects "

I was stunned to hear the words of that woman towards the coyote , I would never have imagined that I was his trellis .

I commented , as I stood up and walked slowly towards her .

The woman took some provisions , packed some combat weapons and in a large backpack placed everything to leave at that very moment riding his wolf .
